Out of business — shop is completely cleaned out.

I took seven pairs of dress slacks to Mr. Diallo to have them altered. They were in great condition, complete with pleats, cuffs and way more room in the seat and legs than I wanted. When he was finished with them, they were flat in the front, no cuffs and fit much more like they should for 2013 styles. The cost was not cheap, but less than new slacks, with the added bonus of supporting a great local businessman rather than some Asian sweatshop. If you are even thinking about using him, please give him a try. It would be a shame for him to close his shop due to lack of local support. From what I could see, he’s busy and doing well, but he needs your business to keep it up. The slacks weren’t ready when promised. Had I made an issue of it he likely would have dropped everything and cranked them out. He understands the importance of good customer service and aims to please. Give him a try.

WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. First, which is no big deal– I went to drop my bridesmaid dress off at the time he opened on Unilocal as well as the hours on the door said which was 11:00– and had to wait around until 11:30. Okay, fine– ill let it slide. Went to pick up my dress, and there’s about 7 or 8 good size marks along the side of the dress– extremely noticeable. First thing I noticed actually. I show him it, he says its from the press and and asks me to wait 20 min while he takes it to the dry cleaners around the corner, which was closed. Now he asks me to come to Nordstorm at the mall at 8 pm (presumably where he works also) to pick the dress up because he is going to dry clean it there. Really? You messed up my dress and are making me go back out to get it at a department store?
Okay– I have my boyfriend stop and pick up the dress because he is in the area, and he brings it back to me IN A SHOPPING BAG. The guy gave him FULL LENGTH BRIDESMAID DRESS IN A SHOPPING BAG! Last time I checked— the suit department of Nordstrom’s has suit bags! AND, to top it off, he didn’t get the marks out– he was able to fade them a little and he added TWO MORE black marks to the front of the dress!!!
By far, the worst customer service I have ever received and I will never be going back there again! If I could give a 0 I would! Horrible service, horrible work!

Probably the best in town. I came in and needed a suit jacket and slacks brought in and was in a bit of a time crunch, he was more than happy to accommodate and the work was done on time as promised. I needed the suit for a business trip and during the measuring, I mentioned that it was supposed to be raining during my trip and it was also raining down town. He was nice enough to loan me a small travel umbrella to take with me on my travels. My one small complaint is a purely personal one, I try to stay up on the latest trends and fashions and his supply is a but more traditional/​less trendy. But great customer service, great work and good prices; that’s hard to beat.

Finally, an excellent tailor in Annapolis. He really knows what he’s doing, your garments are safe with him. Had minor and major alterations done, all done properly the first time. Prices are reasonable conisdering quality of work.

Needed to get the sleeves of my son’s blazer taken out so I could try to get another year out of it. I was in a rush since we were going out of town for Easter — Mr. Diallo was most accomdating. Great Job — will be returning.
