History
Established in 1957.
Pinecrest School, serving children age three — sixth grade, is a coeducational nonsectarian, independent school founded in 1957. The school is a non-profit corporation owned by parents, faculty and staff who elect from among themselves a Board of Trustees to set school policy. Administrative and educational matters are managed by a full-time Head of School. Additionally, the school offers a summer camp program, Pinecrest Summer Pavilion, to rising K-6 students.
