Favored by Yodit Events is a boutique event planning firm owned by longtime event planner & promoter, Yodit Gebreyes. Over the past eight years Yodit has designed and coordinated a number of events ranging from intimate baby showers to huge nightlife event productions. Clients & supporters have always been amazed by her gift for creating memorable events.

Business Owner

After graduating from Georgetown University with a master’s degree in Public Relations & Corporate Communications, Yodit’s passion for the wedding and corporate event scene was elevated when she helped plan a friend’s wedding abroad in Egypt.

When she returned back home to the states she continued to gain professional experience by expanding her portfolio with TALKOFDC, a boutique event marketing and promotion firm in Washington, DC.

Favored by Yodit Events specializes in wedding, social & corporate event planning & favor design. Yodit has always found herself constantly drawn to event design and planning and has been volunteering her talent with a variety of non-​profits, including Artists for Charity, DMV Helps Haiti, We Are The Horn and The Society for Girls, Inc. since 2006.
