Over the last year I have had several occasions to visit the Jackson Ave location of Whitney’s. Each time the service was exceptional and the quality was excellent. The staff are knowledgable, personable and just really good down to earth guys. I needed to get a windshield replaced. While they do not provide that service they recommended another company that did a great job on 3 windshield replacements.
I love these guys and sometimes bring them donuts just because I want to keep them sweet on my family! I recommend them for body work without reservation.

Whitney’s service far exceeded my expectations. Ethan and the other staff members were friendly and efficient, and they went the extra mile to be helpful and accommodating. The repairs to my car’s bumper and mirror were perfect and were completed even earlier than promised.
Better still, not only did they wash and polish the whole car so that it sparkled, but they surprised me by vacuuming and cleaning the entire interior down to the coin holder so that I felt as if I was getting into a new car. I can’t recommend Whitney’s highly enough!

Had damage to my rear bumper from a parking lot bandit. The guys at Whitney gave me a good option to claiming on my insurance and doing a whole unnecessary replacement and paint job. As cosmetic damage to a 2005 car, they worked a great fix with a heat gun, polishing, and a bit of tlc. The car has rust and other cosmetic wear and tear. Removing the heavy dent and leaving only the remaining crackles in the paint from the initial damage has left it looking to me to be an acceptable overall flow of a ten year old car. I’m so pleased with their honestly and offering up this reasonable fix for an older car.

Whitney’s did a very prompt, beautiful job repairing several bumps and dents and scrapes on my car. I took it straight to them for the estimate which saved a lot of time because I didn’t have to wait for my insurance company to send an adjuster – and they knew just which pictures to take and just how to send the documentation to my insurance. They also re-​did an earlier repair (that they had done) that I was not satisfied with, very cheerfully and for free. And they washed my car and vacuumed the interior to boot. I would certainly go there again… but I hope I don’t have to!

Very helpful guys over here ask for Ron the manager he will take good care of you. I had metal mixed with water drip on my car into the clear coat and they removed it in 10 min. Great work here highly recommended

Always fantastic. Excellent service, best price in town. Sadly, have had several fender benders on various cars over the years. We always use Whitneys on Main Street and don’t even bother getting additional estimates anymore. They are always 30−50% less than the competition, and their work is excellent!

I had a minor damage to my front bumper and messed up the wiring for the windshield fluid pump… Brought my car to Whitney’s with no appointment. Ethan had a quick check and had people fix it for me within half an hour with NO CHARGE. The staff were friendly and super efficient. I would highly recommend Whitney’s Collision Center!

Absolutely terrible service. I brought my car in for a scratch on the side frame and asked them how much it would be if I took care of this out of pocket. They looked at it for about twenty minutes and took a bunch of photographs of the whole car, saying that there were a lot of other dents or scratches. I kept saying that this was the only one I wanted to fix, because the others weren’t visible unless you took a microscope to it. They kept asking for my insurance claim number despite me telling them that I didn’t want to get the insurance companies involved. After a long time they gave be an estimate of $ 3184. Next day I took it to another place down the road and he fixed it for $ 275. Yes, that’s less than one tenth their estimate.

I brought my car in to fix the front bumper and a broken tail light. I’m a student at UM and Ken not only gave me a discount, but worked with me to figure out a way to make the necessary repairs while not breaking the bank. The entire team was polite, competent, and timely. I would highly recommend Whitney’s Collision Center.

Alan and Mike has always been courteous and honest. Just got my car back. It costed a bit more than I was originally quoted, but they had kept me informed and managed my expectation all along. I paid 100% for the repairs because I didn’t file a claim with my insurance company. This was the fifth car I’ve had at Whitney’s over the last few years. (Teenage drivers) every one was done to schedule and good results. I hate to have a collision repair shop on speed dial, but if you need one, theses guys will work great.

A joke. Original estimate was about $ 900 so I was going to pay out of pocket because my deductible is $ 1,000. Then the estimate went up and up and up. In the end they kept my car for over a month and gave me a bill for $ 3,118. Notice that the better reviews of this place are old – the newer ones are like this one. Don’t go here!!!

I got my car’s rear bumper dented so I go to Unilocal and search for the «best» auto shop. Therefore I came to Whitney’s Collison. However, it disappointed me because they suggest me to change the bumper and it costs me around 1200bucks. Then, i went to another auto shop. The other auto shop provided me more options: one is 100bucks for minor fix. The other one is take out the bumper and perfectly modify. Itcosts 700 bucks. Um… I think you guys know what I mean: P

So, let start out by saying, I had great hopes for Whitney’s. They had great reviews all over the Web and the gentleman at the desk was friendly on the phone and in person. The shop looks clean and trustworthy and I had nothing but good thoughts about them. I dropped off my 2013 to have the drivers side repaired from a minor hit and run side swipe.
Fast forward one month, yes one month. I was without my car for one woke month. Lucky for them, I could care less. I don’t actuator drive my car with the exception of maybe twice a month. Lovin the pedestrian life!
So, in one months time they should’ve fixed that baby to prefect factory condition right? Wrong. First, they tried to charge geico more than the allowable hourly rate. Plus I had estimates elsewhere and they were all cheaper.
Second, they blatantly blamed geico for everything. I don’t care who’s to blame, I’m not an auto body therapist, I’m a customer.
Third, after finally calling to tell me to pick it up a month later, he informs me they scratched my window tint. At least they told me. So he gave me 65 bucks instead of just freaking fixing it.
Lastly, I get home tonight and close my back door… it’s freaking hollow. Empty. They left out the insulating panels and who knows what else.
I’m going first thing in the morning to try to have them fix what they screwed up. I’ll let you know what happens next.

I was a bit anxious since this was the first time I brought my car in for body repairs, but Whitney’s far exceeded my expectations.
My Civic was damaged in a couple spots in the rear, but I requested a fix for just the broken tail light. They not only fixed the tail light (looks good as new), but they also buffed out some big scratches on the bumper AND vacuumed the inside. I hate cleaning my car, so that was a major plus.
The work was finished within the estimate and on time. Everyone there is very polite and approachable. Great experience, and I look forward to getting the next repair done here.

I do not know about you guys but this is my experience. My car has been in their place for 40+ days now and they still haven’t finished it. I mean I could understand this is one of the worst winter and it took time. They told me that I could get my car two weeks ago, and then they told me it could be done no later than last Friday and then I was told it would be done very early this week. But then I just called them and they told me the parts ordered for my car were not even here yet. This makes me really angry because I kept being given hope by them and all in the end turned out to be just LIES! Why couldn’t you just tell me you ordered the parts and they were not here yet and we don’t know when it’s gonna be done. The worse thing is that they do not have a loaner car so I have been renting a car for 40+ days! I am really disappointed of their attitude of keeping telling you lies.

I am so glad to have listened to friends who recommended this place.
My Honda had some paint damage on the hood and scratches on front bumper.
Mike was the repair representative and he walked through the individual costs to repair my car’s paint job. This was important because I was paying out of pocket. With his advice, I chose not to repaint part of the bumper and just repair the damage on the hood. He answered all of my questions and took the time to not make me feel like I was making a rushed decision.
I dropped the car off without a problem and picked it up on time. To my surprise, the bumper looked like it was cleaned up. Turns out that before Mike could catch it, the technician repainted the bumper by mistake. They did an excellent job on the bumper too and since it was their mistake, Mike didn’t charge me for the repaired bumper!!!
I wish all auto body places were this honest and reliable.

Probably the best shop I’ve ever been to that doesn’t take advantage of the young, broke, and gullible.
I went to Collex Collision on Wash. to get a quote and they tried charging me these ridiculous prices for the popping my bumper off and on, telling me they had to warm up my car which could take awhile and that every hour was going to cost about $ 80 (on top of the $ 80 for the bumper job.)
When I went to Whitney’s, I believe it was Alan that helped me and gave me a flat quote of $ 80 for everything. By the time I took my car in, I had a bit more damage done on the bottom of my bumper and they didn’t charge me extra to put it together. I would highly recommend this place!
