Well, it’s a Wendy’s near Downtown Ann Arbor. What do you want? They have your standard Wendy’s offerings, so when you’re desperate for the midday pick-me-up that only fries and a Frosty can provide, it’s a short walk from most downtown workplaces, and from Central Campus. The only issue, if you’re not a student, is the students. This location is in the basement food court of the student union, which means that, aside from spring break, there are students all over the place at any time of day you try to visit. They’re not rude, or too loud, and unless it’s right at the beginning of lunchtime the lines aren’t too long, but if you’re not a student it can feel odd to be surrounded by them. Food is fine, service is fine, but nothing really stands out from this Wendy’s.

Typical Wendy’s, American fast food. Pros: — Coca-Cola freestyle(only one of its kind one campus), which is great to try out different style, especially because refills are free Cons: — it’s generally speaking, more expensive to eat healthy, at which point there are better options around at the same price point e.g. Panda Express and Subway Best fit: — fast food(chicken nuggets and soda)

This Wendy’s is attrocious. It never seems clean. I think it just has that old dingy look to it though; I’m sure it can’t actually be THAT dirty! The staff is really slow so it’s gross like fast food but not fast like fast food.

It’s not bad — for a Wendy’s this is four star. Clean, nice staff, very very fast even during lunch time, and all around a decent place for lunch.

There’s not much to be said about this Wendy’s that would differentiate it from other Wendy’s locations — except that it’s in a food court setting, which means that every visit to get a junior Frosty and some nuggets is fraught with guilt. «I should really just go next door and get a salad,» I think, «or maybe some nice steamed vegetables over there?» And then I go for the Frosty and the junior cheeseburger deluxe anyway. Service isn’t the fastest or the nicest, but it’s fast food in a food court, and it’s conveniently located for most of Central Campus. What more do you want? Word of caution, though: avoid going right at noon, or you’ll find yourself waiting much longer than is necessary for your fast food.
