Great selection of healthy tasty food, wines and health products. Prices are unbelievable. Unique foods you can’t find anywhere else. Organic foods abound. The only negative is the $ 3 bottle of wines that are not worth it. But don’t pass up the $ 5 to $ 6 bottles which can rival most other $ 15 and up sold elsewhere. 2 thumbs up!

Trader Joes is my holy ground. The prices are so reasonable and the food options are great! The staff is so helpful and friendly and I LOVE their no hassle return policy! If you try something and don’t like it you can tell the cashier the next time you’re in their store that you didn’t like it and they will give you a FULL refund! No need to bring the item or receipt in! They just really trust their customers and want them to try new foods!

This is the place to buy cheese. And nuts. And a lot of other quality ingredients or ready-made meal items that can be on the pricey side at many stores. The house brand craft beers are very good and beat the price of most microbrew sixers by three or four bucks. The staff is always super friendly and eager to help you find something that’s escaping your eye. If you drop bottles or cans into the return bin as you walk in they’ll take your word for how many you had. You can return defective items without a receipt, and for that matter, items that are fine but just don’t suit your taste. Take the plunge on those candied caper encrusted goat cheese eggplant roll-ups, risk free! It’s good that TJ’s has all this going for it because shopping there can be an ordeal. The store is very small for the volume of merch they carry, and it’s understandably popular, especially in a town full of poor college students. So there are days when wheeling a cart down the aisle involves some very patient and artful negotiations with your fellow shoppers and those busy, breezy, Hawaiian shirted staffers. Saturday/Sunday afternoons are the worst – weekday mornings are ideal. But you shop when you have to, so if you do your marketing on weekends, brace yourself, stay patient, and think of the money you’ll be saving once you get to the front of the long checkout line.

A really nice Trader Joe’s with a big selection and fresh produce. I particularly enjoy the flower bouquet section — lots of selection, very reasonable prices, and fresh flowers. I often think about going to Trader Joe’s … but then I just don’t… because I remember where it’s located. The parking lot is pretty bad, which is obviously not the store’s fault… but it’s enough to deter me. They have a lot of great things though, which eventually lure me back. Can’t say no to those dark chocolate/turbinado sugar covered almonds. I always expect to wait in line for a long time when checking out, but I’ve always been surprised at how quickly the checkout experience is here.

I always love trader joes! The staff here is always incredibly friendly and welcoming — super happy to help. I’m personally a huge fan of their frozen pre made foods! It’s a lot higher quality than the stuff you find at most grocery stores. Some nights you just don’t feel like cooking, and it’s the perfect thing to have! I’m an especially big fan of the orange chicken and the gnocchi. They also have a lot of high quality standard groceries. Their bread is superb! I love to pick up a thing of the croissants. I also think trader Joes in super reasonably priced for what you get! I would recommend anyone checks it out at least once.

Trader Joes has always been my favorite grocery store. They have the best frozen food selection you will find. Some of their produce is pretty cheap as well but you’ve to pick and choose. My favorite wine is Green Fin brand — seriously a must have for $ 5! This location doesn’t sell hard liquor which is a bummer, but locations that do sell hard liquor you can find $ 10 bottles of vodka and tequila for mixed drinks. This particular location has a parking lot but can get pretty busy in the after work hours so beware.

While I am in agreement with most of the positive things that fellow Unilocalers have to say about this Trader Joe’s, I feel obliged to point out that this location actually does not have a great selection of fresh vegetables. While they do provide the essentials, I always find myself driving to other grocery stores in Ann Arbor such as Kroger and Lucky’s down the street to find the variety of vegetables that I’m looking for. Trader Joe’s excels at packaged foods, I’m not too keen on buying chopped veggies or vegetables that are mostly pre wrapped. Other than that, TJ is another one of my weekly grocery stops because of the specialty items that they offer such as soy creamer(lactose intolerance is not fun), delicious frozen foods(such as the mandarin chicken, pork/chicken dumplings, halibut), snacks including ice cream, dark chocolate, and cookies, canned foods, chicken broth, sauces, pastas, coffee and tea, even toiletries such as the coconut body butter and shampoo. Don’t get me wrong about this review, TJ is still one of my favorite grocery stores in AA, I just prefer to get my fresh vegetables elsewhere. But when it comes to snacks and frozen foods, TJ is always spot on.

OMG! I drive from Toledo to Ann Arbor just to shop there. If I had to pick just one grocery store to bring their business to Toledo… this would be the place. Forget Kroger, Meijer, and the rest. They are way too big and they have a cold feel to them. Trader Joe’s is small but not too small, and the prices are VERY reasonable. It has a great feel to it, and the staff are AMAZING! Love to go there, and they have a huge variety of food you won’t see anywhere else. Their«3 buck Chuck» is also a great deal! One time shopping there, and you’ll be hooked! I can’t wait to go back.

I like that I can get great grocery products at a decent price without having to walk by miles of sweatshop apparel, a gardening section, tires, etc. The store is a sane size, and staffed with knowledgeable and kind people. It’s how grocery shopping should be. Hopefully, the company will never sell out, go public, and forget what is making them great.

Love this place! My twice monthly visit is just enough to snag all my favorites: extra virgin coconut oil, mandarin chicken, assortment of teas, trail mix, mango orange juice, fresh fruit, cornbread mix(with real corn), sweet potatoe bisque soup, blue agave, sweet potatoe fries, and more! Warning: subject to run out so buy 2 if you really use the item. Stashed away in the old Whole Foods location in a busy shopping center off Washtenaw/Stadium. Have your kids look for(hidden) Maisy to win a free prize at checkout!

Love this place. It’s where I get my groceries and the people that work there are super friendly and enjoyable. To me it’s cheaper and better quality than a place like meijers. The only downfall is the selection isn’t that huge so you can’t expect to find a crazy soup choice here or some foreign spice that is rare.

Went here on a whim just to check it out on a Sunday. The small parking lot was a hassle to maneuver through. Too many places to go into for the small sized lot. The store was quite busy and it was difficult staying out of people’s way and having other shoppers in the way of products we wanted to look at. We purchased a bag of Trader Joes kettle chips in the turkey and stuffing flavor. Sounded like a good seasonal product to try. Well it was a waste of money. If I was blindfolded I would have thought they were regular flavor. I let my husband try them and without any prompting, he had a puzzled look on his face and said he couldn’t taste any flavoring. So disappointing. You’d think there would be SOME flavor but no. Thumbs down. All in all they have some products you can’t find in the usual grocery stores so it’s interesting to browse around. I’ll just go during the week next time I have the opportunity to avoid the crowded parking lot and store.
Their dill pickle popcorn alone is enough to give them 5 stars. After my trip to Cali I made the short drive here to grab the dark chocolate peanut butter cups a winery served along with one of their dessert wines. I ended up doing my weekly shopping here which is something I’ve never done. Although the store is fairly small they have a good selection of fresh and frozen foods. HAVEYOUSEENTHEWINESELECTIONTOO? Fantastico. I was surprised I was able to fill my cart for the week here as I usually stick to the much larger Kroger. Cashiers here are very nice and I usually don’t have a problem with parking. Maybe I’ll do my shopping here next week too!

I really do enjoy shopping at Trader Joe’s. The store is very clean and well kept. I generally don’t buy too much from their produce, as I think at times its a bit over priced, however, everything is generally reasonably priced or a bargain. Be prepared for the hipsters though, it doesn’t matter what TJs I’ve been to, there are always a group of hipsters. If you can handle them, then make your way over to the frozen food section, they have some seriously good eats there. The frozen berries are the cheapest I’ve seen in AA and their coffee is always great. Bring your own bag and you’re entered into a raffle.

There’s nothing bad about trader Joe’s. The first time we went in I only had about 15 minutes to shop but they allowed me to tale my time to make sure i got everything. I was rushed by husband more than anything. Customer service is always great. I love you trader Joe’s!

This is a pretty good trader joes. It is tucked away in a little shopping center so you may miss it at first. The store seems roughly the same size as others I have been to but they didn’t have some of the stuff I am used to getting– could just be a regional difference who knows. When I visited they were giving out samples of fresh baked cookies instead of the usual rice dish which was a nice plus. The store wasn’t too busy even at prime time so I got in and out quickly. Some suggested Trader Joes Products –Sriacha bacon jerky– sweet, spicy, amazing –The black bean crisps, called Think Bean or something like that– great snack –Black bean dip– one of my top 2 all time trader joes products –Mini peanut butter cups– the all time favorite –Cowboy Caviar– great spicy salsa

Fantastic service and products! The attentive staff always seem so cheery and sincere! Somehow everything seems stocked perfectly. I’m always inspired by their great options for cooking ingredients as well as prepared foods. Every time I go I find something new to try– most recently their fantastic, herb pizza dough! Great prices and options on cheese and wine, too. TIP: Pick up a quick lunch! They conveniently sell really great sandwiches and salads in the cooler closest to the door.

Love Trader Joe’s for their well priced food/beer, prepared or otherwise. Some of the best wine deals in the area. I also think they have the best cheap snacks around. HOWEVER, i also enjoyed the great customer service. I recently heard almost 20 employees were terminated for drinking beer in the parking lot after closing. I consider the employee morale a distinguishing factor of Tjs. Apparently, a sherrif complained and contacted corporate. Couldn’t they have given their employees a WARNING? Doubt I will be here as much. My family already knew and liked the staff. They probably liked to hang out after work, which is probably why they seemed to enjoy their jobs more than most… BOOO!!!

I love TJ, it is a fine selection for food of all kinds, frozen meals here feel less ‘crappy’ than something you might get at Kroger or Walmart. The meat section has a presentation like Whole foods and you can get a great selection of quick easy to make meat entrees that give you quick cook times and taste great. An easy way to describe Trader Joe’s is to call in a ‘cheap’ Whole foods, cheap as in the price, not the quality. I personally don’t fall for the«organic» fad(the word organic struggles to have a standard definition — just like spring water) so I enjoy buying meat and veggies here without them being organic(altho some are). The wine selection is great, with wonderful prices pretty much under $ 10 bucks($ 3 Chuck!). Coffee and tea selection is pretty good(TJ brands), and I can vouch for tasking a good variety of them in the tasting section in the back. Honestly there is a lot to find at TJ, from meat, frozen peas, dinners, coffee all the way to wine and birthday cards. Check it out and find something cool(like their sauces, nuts, or lotions). OH… give the pizza dough a try, easy to make pizzas, just add sauce + toppings for like $ 2 bucks(for the dough).
