Olive Oil has been a part our family’s history on both sides for centuries. Our olives have grown from the same olive groves in Christianoupoli, Greece for generations and generations. Our Olives are hand-​picked at end of the fall season. They are harvested by hand, then machine-​milled. Heat is never involved and there is no chemical processing or refining. Stamatopoulos Reserve will always comes from the first cold pressing of the finest hand picked olives.

Hello, My name is Grigorios Stamatopoulos and I started Stamatopoulos & Sons Olive Oil to give Americans a chance to try a real extra virgin olive oil, many for the first time! Olive Oil has been a part of my family’s history on both sides for centuries. My father is from Christianoupoli and my mother is from Mouzaki. They are two neighboring villages in Southwestern Greece. Our extra virgin olive oil has been certified in both Greece by independent laboratories and in the United States by The Olive Center at the University of California-​Davis. My family is very proud of our extra virgin olive oil. I guarantee that my olive oil is among the best in the world, in fact we put a satisfaction guarantee directly on our bottles. I make that guarantee because of the olive oil’s unique origin and our strictly enforced quality standards and processes.

Born in Greece to a family of olive oil producers then raised in Ann Arbor. I’ve been trying to raise awareness for good olive oil since I found out about widespread fraud in olive oil in 2009. Furthered my knowledge with courses at UC Davis.
