Dr. Schaub is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Found him via Unilocal for my wife who is scared of the dentist, but he has a very pleasant bedside manner and is very gentle. I made an emergency appointment with him after the VA Ann Arbor messed my teeth up. He was able to diagnosis what was wrong with me in a few seconds and refer me to an endontist a few days later for a root canal. We will definitely be patients of Dr. Schaub’s for as long as we live in the area.

It has been awhile since visiting Dr. Schaub. In fact, my visits to Dr. Schaub were prior to starting to Unilocal.I like Doc Schaub’s location and parking was always easy. The staff are friendly and the doc efficient. After leaving AA I spent some time in SoCal and found an acceptable dentist in LaJolla\University City. Today I was asked to track down previous panoramic x-rays. I contacted the dentist in California who I had«recently» visited and they can’t seem to find my dental records. My current dentist’s office contacted Dr. Schaub’s office and they claim they were able to find my records and x-rays from 7 years ago. Files received — Thank you.

At first I was not used to this tiered office system with multiple hygienists + one dentist. But now I prefer this! The hygienists are great at what they do. They have years of experience and show it. They’re quick and efficient. I’ve had one cavity filled and a crown fitted here, and it was smooth. The hygienist assisted and they were quick with the suction in an unobtrusive way. The one slight drawback is that if you have a cavity concern during your cleaning, if Dr. Schaub isn’t in the office, you have to schedule another appointment with him. In the future I’ll try to make appointments where he’s around.

I had a filling fall out a couple of weeks ago — and due to schedule and the fact the tooth wasn’t really bothering me, I neglected to get into my dentist. Well, I’m sure you know how the story ends. In the midst of a throbbing pain, I called to make an appointment with Comfort Dental and they couldn’t get me in for five days. Count them 1.2…3…4…5 — and this is in the middle of a dental emergency. I called Matt Schaub’s office which is right across the street from my massage studio and they were fantastic. They got me in the next morning and were OHSOKIND. I don’t have dental insurance and was worried about costs. After taking two X-rays and then realizing I’d need a root canal(which he doesn’t do) the lovely man, offered to right me a RX for pain meds and refer me to a specialist. He even put in a temporary filling to help ease the pain. The best part of this, is he knew my insurance situation and didn’t so much as charge me one cent. That, my friends, is almost unheard of nowadays! I was humbled and happy and still can’t quite get over the generosity of he and his office. With that said, once my root is canaled, if you will, I’m switching to Dr. Schaub for all cleanings and routine work. I’m a huge fan and forever grateful. And that temp filling, saved my day!
