Love the atmosphere. Staff are always smiling, attentive, and welcoming. Perfect for kids and family fun.

I’m torn. I think Revel & Roll is a really nice facility. They’ve updated things so it’s very shiny and new and there’s a ton to do there but oh man… it’s not cheap. I took my little cousin here for a day of fun and she had a great time but my wallet was a lot lighter after a few hours there. So let’s add it up: $ 36 for a lane + shoe rental for 2 for one hour. $ 40 for dinner for 2(including an appetizer, non boozy drinks, and entrees) $ 40 for the arcade(I had only planned to do $ 25 but the points went so fast and we were having fun so I ponied up a bit more). So over $ 100 for a few hours of fun for TWO people(me and my 8 year old cousin). I can’t imagine how rough it would be for a family. But that said – if you’ve got some $$ to spend it’s actually a pretty nice place. Everything is clean, our lanes worked great, we had a dedicated server at our lane so we could get apps and drinks while we bowled, the games in the arcade were an good condition and had a lot of variety(mostly very«win some tickets» based – although there isn’t much to choose from outside of candy for anything less than 300 tickets, which is what we were working with), and for a Saturday afternoon it wasn’t that busy. Food was ok. The cheesy garlic bread was dope. The plain cheese pizza(for the cousin) was VERY cheesy. If you like that, then you’re in luck. She’s a little picky so she pulled off most of it and mostly chowed down on bread all day(but we did have a lot left over to take home for my husband for dinner, so I guess it was technically 3 meals) I had the chicken pesto sandwich with the fries and while it wasn’t bad it wasn’t really great. I initially had my eye on the burger and should have done that. But it WAS fun. So I’ll go back but probably not as often I would like to given I won’t want to drop that much money on the regular. But for a once and a while splurge I’d visit again.

Awesome revamp of old Colonial Lanes. It gets pretty busy on the weekend; in fact I came on Saturday, without reserving a lane ahead of time, and the wait for a lane was 1 ½ hours! Their arcade area is awesome, and their bar and food is a lot better than before. Definitely a fun hang out place.

Didn’t bowl but the restaurant/bar is wonderful. Attentive and friendly server and bartender, decent prices for great quality food!

Had a child’s birthday party here, the host was nice though the remaining staff were rude. Very overpriced for what you receive and the service amongst all should be pleasant. Will not recommend for a party where or anything that you would have to interact with the staff, just bowling may be fine. Food was decent for bowling alley food.

So we joined a kids’ bowling league courtesy of Ann Arbor Rec & Ed. My sons’ motivation to join was driven primarily by the fact that friends are bowling with him. So in fairness this review at least partially refers to the Rec & Ed organized bowling activity. After a fairly disorganized first week last week, this second week seems a tad bit better. With such a large cohort of young children(6 – 13 yo) bowling, you’d think they’d have sufficient smaller balls(less than 10 lbs) unfortunately this was not true. While the facility is adequate, so far, instruction is nominal. The kids are not being guided. We’ll see… 8 or more weeks to go. *****************. **************. ****************. FEB62016 Family game night for us. With dinner. Buffalo nachos are way too spicey for kids(hubby didn’t notice when he ordered) Daughter liked pretzel bun turkey sandwich. «Great for family bonding» says my 8yo Slow food service… Took quite awhile to get even our appetizer. They need to work on service. Really crowded Friday & Saturday night after 6pm(daughter attended a birthday party here last week) We waited 1.5 hours for lane(after being told it would be 1 hour wait; Anticipate a LONGWAIT on SATURDAY&SUNDAY to bowl Bowling charged by the hour so you are pressured to do quantity versus quality… Bowling a bit Pricey… $ 10+ per person PERHOUR(including shoes) Choice of music needs a bit more culturally diverse selections(i.e. R&B, hip hop, Latin Jazz, etc) — hubby says he tuned out the music Daughter says loudness of music will make u deaf Otherwise fam says they enjoyed

Very nice place. Didn’t try the food yet, but the service was great, game room was fun, and the bathrooms were clean… a major improvement over colonial lanes.

The alley itself is terrible. I bowl in a league here and my ball gets stuck in the back at least once a week, but normally about 2 to 3 times. The ball return will also scrape the ball. The furniture is very cheap and the floor is cracking from lanes 10 to lanes 15… the only thing good about this place is the wait staff. Also the food is extremely overpriced. It was a much better establishment last year

So much potential… I really wanted to like this place. We were there to eat lunch and watch a basketball game. So this review is for restaurant/bar only. I’ll start with the positives 1) many large high def TVs 2) great décor/vibe 3) burger/fries were decent. Now the negatives. 1). Very poor customer service. We were there earlier today(Sunday). Our waitress dropped menus off to us while walking by and talking to another waitress at the same time. she came back to take our order and again was talking to another server in the middle of taking our order. We ordered cheeseburger and French fries. It took about 20minutes to come out; which was a little longer than I expected considering it wasn’t that busy. The parts that annoyed me the most were that 1) only ketchup was brought to the table despite the burger didn’t have any ketchup, mustard or mayo on it. 2) a different waitress brought our food out and wasn’t even sure if it was ours– she had to ask us 3) no one ever came by to check on us 4) wait staff walked by often, but quickly and never gave eye contact at all 5) our waitress only came back when we were completely done with our meal and dropped the bill before asking if we wanted anything else or if we were satisfied. I told her that we were ready to cash out. We waited over five minutes and she never came back. Its a good thing that we had cash. It’s a shame. When I walked into this place, I thought Wow! But not so much :(

I think for bowling alone it’s good. I’d rather not have so many distractions but that’s just me. The game room is great, and the food service stunk on the day I went. We’d go back and hopefully service is better. More later.
