RED 13 Vaporizers & E-Juice

I stopped by this new location and it is awesome. The look of it is very high end — not your typical vape shop. Despite the sleek look the staff was totally down to earth and customer service oriented and I happily chilled next to the indoor waterfall and vaped.
I tried Princess Toadstool it is SO F%cking GOOD, its like fruity champaign deliciousness in my mouth. These guys will also mix your own recipe of juice for you, I’ve never done this before, I loved it and will be back to experiment often. The best part about their juice is it doesn’t have a chemical flavor! I don’t know what or how they do it but I will be back soon.

I really wanted to like RED 13. The owner has a great selection of juices and mixes them right in front of the customer. You can get any mix and PG/​VG ratio you’d like. They have a variety of mods and vaporizers for virtually anyone’s taste.
The guys that work there are really quality people. The problem I had with RED 13 is the way that a bad clone was handled. Everyone that has been vaping for any amount of time knows the hazards of buying clones. They’re a hit or miss.
Unfortunately for myself and anyone buying RED 13 clones, the Taifun GT I bought (for $ 50) is complete garbage. It looks nice, and even seems well constructed. However, the draw is like sipping sand through a coffee stirrer. I’ve tried 3 coil types and have built on it at least 4 times trying to get it to work. I’ve been to multiple vape stores and talked with TONS of people about this clone, they all agree it has no place in a vape store.
Even the owner agreed it’s unusually restricted. Not to mention the adjustable airflow on the authentic (and most clones) Taifun GT was nowhere to be found on this hunk of useless stainless steel. I talked extensively with the staff and tried to arrange an exchange. They wouldn’t bite. Which is ridiculous. In my experience, and with many in the vape community behind me, it’s the store’s responsibility to stock a FUNCTIONAL clone. I mean this thing is awful, you literally can’t hit it because the airflow is so sparse the wicks burn every time.
These kinds of things happen. It’s an accepted risk when you buy clones online. However, one expects a store to test their products and try to hack through the poor quality clones and opt for better manufacturers. I’ve built on 2 other Taifun GT clones in the past and they were nothing like this thing. It’s useless. Unusable.
I’m really upset that this will be my final experience with the store. I wanted to like it, they have a decent selection and the guy really knows his juices. But I can’t put aside being essentially robbed of $ 50. I’ll be letting my friends and the vape community at large to stay AWAY from RED 13, both in Ann Arbor and the new Lansing location.

Ann Arbor needed a vape shop like this. WildSide was trying to sell crappy CE4 clearomizers for $ 8 a piece. Nuff said.
RED 13 is awesome, especially compared to the rest of the storefronts in Ann Arbor. Their prices are a bit steep, but that’s the price you pay for good service.
The owners are extremely friendly and it’s actually a joy to go into the store.

Best e-​cig /​vape shop in A2 HANDS DOWN! Their juice is much better than competitors such as WildSide (who literally sell flavored molasses). I was extremely surprised by how excellent the juice was for the price, and works great in the variety of different portable vapes that I have. While there, I also purchased a new tank that is AMAZING! Red 13 also had the coils to match for future replacement. I will admit, this place was a little hard to find (as it is located in the basement of the building) however, it is a true gem, and the prices are EXCELLENT!
