I’m updating my review because I have received some questions. I am no longer at Randolph Court and have not been since the management change that I heard about. When I was there, it was run by Group 5, and I really thought they did a good job. If it’s true that the management company has left, then I would recommend looking at newer reviews than mine. A big part of the reason why I give the community positive reviews was the timeliness and quality of maintenance and the friendliness of the staff. If those things have changed, I’m not sure that it would be worth the rent/utility costs(because the electric heat is expensive). Generally speaking, I’d say the area was safe while I was living there. One of my neighbors was evicted while I was there and there was some drama, apparently with him owing money to people. I’d see him stuck in cars being yelled at and I think a few times people came to his unit to try and collect. Someone missed once, and came to my apartment and kicked at my door, which I didn’t appreciate, but the response from the front office was pretty good and they did what was needed to get them out as quickly as possible.

These were the best apartments I ever lived in. They were all ranch-style(so no upstairs or downstairs neighbors) and had private entrances. To look at them, they could be condos in some communities. This particular complex only has about 80 units, so the managers in the front building know who they expect to see coming and going. That always made me feel a little safer. They were quick about maintenance needs within my apartment, as well as cleaning up snow all the way to my front door. After living here for over five years, the managers were nice enough to arrange to have my apartment re-carpeted if I just got all the furniture off of the carpet for one day. With my dad’s help, I was able to get it done, and had a much newer feeling apartment without having to pack up and move. I really appreciated that. If it weren’t for getting married and moving in with my husband, I probably never would have left Randolph Court.
