Took a beautiful parka in for a cleaning– got it back with burn to the rear outer that wasn’t there when I took it in. When I pointed it out to the staff, I was understandably directed to the owner. When I contacted him, he called me back and without letting me speak, rolled out a spiel about how the chemicals he uses react with those on the garment, thus leading to the damage. It sounded like he has delivered this matter-of-fact disclaimer many times as it was impressive in its’ pace, sounding almost like a recording. I was never offered any compensation, discount, or even a coupon. No apology. Definitely don’t take anything you value there. The owner definitely doesn’t value you as a customer.

Newly remodeled and under new management. Excellent customer service. I needed a suit last minute and the staff went above and beyond to make me happy. Will recommend over and over again

Three words only: DON’T go here!!!(Seriously, just don’t. It is probably the worst dry cleaners in the world. On every level, especially customer service.)

I frankly don’t even want to give this place 1 star because they were so bad. I took in a shirt with stains, an expensive dress, and pants. The pants were fine. Thank goodness I checked my clothes before taking them home. The shirt was stained worse and I was told the dry cleaning process brings out stains more. Only because I insisted did they say they would run it again. The dress was simply destroyed because they decided to not follow the directions on the label and then insisted it was my mistake. I’m still regretting the day I walked in there and will never go back.

If you have an M-Card(U of Michigan ID card), you’ll get 30% off your dry cleaning. With that said, if you just need men’s button ups laundered or un-stained garments(pants, suits, simple items) dry-cleaned, this is the place for you. They even run specials on Wednesdays called«wacky wednesday specials» where certain garments are 50% off. If you’re dry cleaning delicate items, I wouldn’t bring them here. I had a winter coat(pea coat material) that had some water stains… They couldn’t get it out. I had a dress with some beading in the neckline. It was returned to me completely melted and destroyed. It wasn’t even worth fighting with them… the staff there don’t seem too interested or invested in their jobs– they’re always outside on the bench smoking. They follow in after you when they see you walk into the store. Great for laundering shirts(men’s only though. they won’t «launder» women’s button ups. they’ll charge you for dry cleaning) and everyday work suits/pants. If it’s valuable, take it elsewhere.

Well, I would’ve given this place a great review but now I’ll NEVER go here again. I’m really upset with them. I sent in a sweater for dry cleaning and they’ve successfully cleaned this exact sweater before and it was fine. This time it came back completely ruined. It looked exactly to me like it had been thrown in the wash– it was felted, way too small for me suddenly, and full of holes. The owner called me about it and said that moth eggs created all those holes. I’ve NEVER had moths on my clothes before. And what would cause the shrinkage??? He didn’t offer to pay for it. It was an expensive sweater and now it’s ruined. I don’t recommend this dry cleaner to anyone. Even if it truly were their processes that caused my sweater to be ‘totaled’ I think they should offer to replace it– because if this is truly a common problem, then I would think they lose a lot of customers… DONOTGOHERE!!!
