Mattress & Futon Shoppe

I went to the Mattress & Futon Shoppe in Ann Arbor to redeem a Groupon. I found the mattress that I wanted online and no where on the website or item page did it say it was a promotional item. I inquired about the mattress I saw online and the salesperson said he had the mattress in stock and began writing up the order. When I showed him my Groupon, he stated that I could not use it because he was giving me the promotion pricing since the mattress he showed me was the «upgraded version» of the mattress I actually wanted. He stated I couldn’t use the Groupon because he would be losing money if he sold it to me using the Groupon. He said I could buy any of the other mattresses in the store (starting at $ 1000+) and use my Groupon. If you ask me, that’s a business issue on their end. Why should I not be able to use the Groupon because they won’t be making money if I use it?
It’s shame for him because we were also planning on buying 2 mattress sets and frames for the other bedrooms in our house.

Highly recommended. Store Manager was very friendly and helpful. Didn’t try to upsell me and even explained that something I thought I needed for my bed wasn’t necessary because he knew I was on a budget. The first mattresses I got turned out not to be the best fit, but it was no problem. The replacement policy was true to word. No hassles. Grateful for this good experience.
