History

Established in 1981.

In 1981, Dan Iott merged his independent agency with Kemner Insurance to form the Kemner-​Iott Agency. In 1997, Kemner-​Iott purchased the former Guy Eby Insurance in Cassopolis and renamed it Kemner-​Iott Agency of Cass County in 2005. That same year, Kemner-​Iott purchased Benz Insurance in Ann Arbor from retiring owner Lee Benz and has since become Kemner Iott Benz.
