Photography is my passion, my profession and my past time. I seek to make a real connection with my camera to reveal the true spark and soulful sentiment of my subject. Natural-​light outdoor photography is my specialty, with a focus and flare for Weddings, events, portraits, professional head shots, families, babies and expecting parents.

Hilary Nichols Photography has been serving wedding, personal and professional clients since 1999. Work has appeared in Yogi Times Magazine SF, Planet Magazine, Bay Guardian and others. Specializing in events, artful head shots, professional portraits, fashion, family, couples, kids, and expectant parents with a soulful spark.

Business Owner

I shoot for the truth, people primarily, here and abroad, as a passion and as a profession for nearly 15 years. Portraiture for publishing and personal use, as well as weddings has been my focus. My work is well balanced with both documentary and traditional elements. I have the passion and eye of an artist, and the experience and reliability of a professional. I live in Ann Arbor with my husband and young son. I am a sister to 4, and community member to many. I’ve lived in Spain and Kenya and traveled Africa, India, Thailand, and Europe to a family house in the south of France. I also work as a writer and event producer and I walk on stilts, with Mystic Family Circus sometimes.
