Best place to watch a super bowl!!! Best hookah in Ann Arbor and clean we love you guys

The hooka here is great. The staff members are friendly and they do a great job at ensuring you get the best hooka possible. Very reasonable prices as well. The ambiance/​atmosphere is usually vibrant, though the crowd is a bit on the younger side (late teens, early-​to-​mid 20s). When my friends and I went on a Saturday night, there was a DJ spinning some great tunes, and the people were definitely feeling the rhythms. It’s just south of downtown Ann Arbor, across from the Seven Eleven.
My personal recommendation for hooka: Tangerine Dream.

Amazing Host, atmosphere and their SOUR SKITTLES orange head was amazing too. It deserve another visit

snapshot: an expansive almost loft-​like space to smoke and chill out at with great hookah, great prices for the area, lots of couches/​tables/​chairs/​TVs/​games, and good service. great for studying early in the afternoon. it does get rowdy on friday and saturday nights and i wish their music ventured beyond the realm of hip-​hop in the afternoon and evenings, parking is okay if busy. one of the best hookah lounges in michigan.
full review: you pull up to what looks like a brick warehouse with okay parking in a prime location in downtown ann arbor. walking up the stairs you’ll see some worn wood and brick work. not grimy, cozy. lived in. when you step in you’ll first think that this is probably the biggest hookah lounge in michigan. it’s definitely up there. it’s one big room with support pillars and lots of brick and wood. high ceilings. exposed pipes. it would make a great penthouse loft apartment. the front area has the cashier and an area with lots of junk food and drinks. in other words, study supplies. they have a large selection of flavors to choose from and if you get there before 5pm on a weekday a clay head hookah is only ten bucks. you can pick from plenty of pairs of comfy leather couches sharing a coffee table; or, if you prefer, there are lots of tables and chairs to choose from as well. the furniture is all worn but not grungy. the tables and chairs could have some screws tightened though. there are TVs at every pair of couches, some of which are hooked up to playstations or xboxes. there is also a pool table, foosball table, and a few other arcade type games. you can usually choose any place to sit before 9pm when it starts to fill up. temperature is kept comfortable. staff is friendly, coals are changed often, and you get your hookah quick. thus far i haven’t had a poorly made hookah. wi-​fi works well. there is a microwave and coffee station for the marathon studiers. another perk is a wireless printer. after 9pm or so the situation changes. music is fired up as the afternoon progresses to evening and it is usually loud hip-​hop. not my thing, but it is for most of the students who fill the place up. they close at or after midnight depending on the day (4am on saturday nights) and until then it takes on a more rowdy atmosphere. they have DJs some nights and hold events frequently, such as a costume contest for halloween. parking gets dicey when it fills up and you might have to cross the street. bathrooms are well equipped and clean. there is no wheelchair access. overall a very relaxed place. executed very well. few gripes. this is one of the best hookah lounges i’ve been to. it doesn’t try to be a club or a restaurant. just a good low key lounge to chill at.

Was extremely unsatisfied with my experience today. Overpriced hookah with poor service. There are torn couches to sit in and loud trap music. Weekends at this place are crowded by regulars who play pool with the staff and leave customers continuously asking for more coals and complaining about the lack of service. If you want to pay $ 30 for a subpar hookah, lame music deafening your ears, muted televisions, and zero customer service, you’ve found it.

This place has no respect for women. You’ll be kicked out of pool playing. You’ll be forced to watch American Sniper. And you’ll have to pay $ 30 for a hookah. Go to Rendezvous on South University (less than 3 miles away) instead.

This is the best place to go in Ann Arbor! The inside is beautiful, comfortable and inviting. The owners care deeply for their business and heir customers. The service is outstanding and they offer a quality product. I would recommend a trip here to everyone I know!

Not only is this the spot to be pretty much any day of the week, but in addition, the staff is beyond courteous and professional. The hookah, music, and atmosphere makes this place one of my favorite to just kickback and relax!

Best Hookahs in town! Staff is super friendly they really take care of you and make sure you and your guest are well taken care of. The atmosphere is pretty lively on the weekends and they stay open late which is always a perk! Huge selection of snacks for those munchies cravings. Offer watermelon, grapefruit and orange heads! I prefer the grapefruit:) Sell flavor tabaco and hookahs to take home which also makes for great gifts! Overall great place to spend time with friends over a perfectly packed hookah, playing pool table or watching some Sunday football!

Cool place. DJ cool. The prices for thee hookah is outrageous it’s not worth $ 25 bucks. U can go down the street and get it for $ 15.

This is one of the coolest hookah bars I have been ever been to. My wife and I are on a road trip from Oklahoma and have been to 3 hookah bars in the past 5 days and Hail Hookah Lounge is by far the best.
They have a HUGE open area for lounging, playing pool, watching tv, or just smoking and talking with friends. The hookahs as well as the lounge were very clean. They have tall ceilings with giant beams and wood floors that make it comfortable yet modern. It wasn’t too loud, but it wasn’t awkwardly quiet either. It was pretty well lit except for in the back.
The bowls were made out of grapefruit which was something I have never experienced before. It was absolutely INCREDIBLE. The only concern I have with the grapefruit bowls is that not all flavors mesh well with grapefruit. We had tangerine dream and mint and it mixed perfectly with the natural flavor of the grapefruit head.
The price is 20 dollars a hookah, which isn’t terribly cheap, but it is worth it for us since we are only here on vacation for 2 days. If I lived in Ann Arbor I would have a hard time forking over 20 dollars every time I wanted to smoke. If it were a little bit cheaper, I would have given 5 stars.
Hail Hookah Lounge has made my top 10 favorite list, even though I most likely will never be back in Michigan. If they lowered the price a bit and maybe had other bowls, I would easily give this place 5 stars. If I for some reason make it back to Michigan, I will definitely try to make it into Hail Hookah for a smoke.

Overall atmosphere is good. Hookahs are made with a grapefruit by default which is a good value. There were a healthy assortment of snacks, a pool table, bar games, etc. The hookah was well-​made to start with.
It was all overshadowed by the service though. I went up to ask for another coal because our hookah wasn’t hitting. I’ve never been to a hookah bar that let it run completely dry before. He informed me that they come around and refill it. At least 20 minutes later, I walked up to try to mention it again but he was on his cell phone behind the counter so I waited a bit until he was done. I asked again and he informed me another person was walking around refilling them right now. He wasn’t apologetic, in fact he seemed very irritated that I was asking him about it again.
The person refilling the coals was part of a large group of people playing pool up front, probably friends of the employees/​establishment. They had refilled their coals a while ago without going around to everyone else. With so many people associated with the establishment being around, you’d think they would focus on their customers at least somewhat, and have basic customer service skills when a paying customer is asking for assistance.

I have been there twice, the hookah basically the best hookah I jad in a long time, best service and reasonable prices. I just met the owner recently and and hes and outstanding guy and very respectful. Would love to ho there at least three times a week.

I would never go back to this place.
It’s sad to say because I was extremely excited to go. Last weekend a couple of friends and I decided to stop here after a party. We were really excited because it was one of my friends first time doing hookah ever! When we first got there we were greeted and picked out our flavors and found a table. Shortly after my group arriving a group of large group of regulars arrived. After this everything went downhill. We were left waiting for over 30 minutes for our hookah and when we asked about it we were told by a male employee in a very Nasty way that it was coming «calm down» after watching the regulars get their hookahs, ours finally came. Although we were angry we tried to make the best out of the situation. No one came to check on our hookah we had to call for someone. Then to put the icing on the cake the «regulars» began to argue and it was not taken care of at all, the employees just allowed the young lady to curse and raise her voice for about 10 minutes. After this we were extremely turned off and decided to leave.
Overall it has potential to be a great hookah bar. Great flavors, great music, (the dj was amazing), and great environment, but the customer service was horrible. And because of this I will never go back nor refer any of my friends to this place.

Every time i go here it gets better! Tons of flavor choices, unique hookahs to smoke out of, comfy clean couches, clean bathrooms, tasty snacks and drinks, amazing staff, nice interior design and decorating scheme. They have so many Tv’s I don’t know where to turn my head.
They have XBOX and PS4 that can be rented for free with a good selection of games.
Honestly when I need to study or just hang out, I can come here during the day and smoke a hookah while using their free wifi.
They even have a reward system that gets you a free hookah after you purchase a certain amount.
You should definitely come here! Every table has a button with 3 buttons that are: call, cancel, and bill. They are quick and put the tobacco in halved fruit heads! The coals come to you pre-​lit and they place them for you.
I cannot say enough positive things about this place and I’m Deff coming back more often!!!

If I were rating this place on anything other than hookah, it would get 4 stars easily. There are big comfortable couches, flat screens everywhere, and even an XBox 360. However, the hookah itself was tasteless. Maybe I am just used to the hookah from Dearborn, but smoking Hail’s hookah is literally like putting your mouth next to a humidifier. And no one ever came by to clean the ash off of the coal.
This place is located far from downtown, so if you want to go there, you should probably drive. But if you have a car, you’re better off driving to a hookah lounge that has better hookah.

Cool place that just opened! There’s a really friendly guy who recommended the tropical punch/​mint flavor ($ 15) which is really tasty! There are comfy leather couches good for groups to share, and tons of flat screens showing the Red Wings! Check it out! They don’t have a liquor license but they have drinks and teas and snacks! Happy we came! Fun vibe!
