My boys LOVE this place. They’d spend every dime they have here if they could. So it’s our go to for WiiU games, Nintendo,(& previously Gameboy… Remember those?) Prices are comparable to other spots though I ponder the value of the Game stop membership card. whether it worth getting copies of the Game Informer and the 10% discount on games. If you’re gonna anyway. Then every little bit helps in terms of discount right? Can get busy especially on the weekends. Try weekday evenings ‚. Not so bad

My family and I come here for most of our video game needs. Today my son came in to look for an external hard drive for his XBox360 he received for Christmas. The young man who was assisting him essentially told him it wasn’t worth it, and he should save his money to buy an XBox One. As it happens, we could not afford the XBox One. I scrimped and saved just to be able to get him the 360. Obviously this child would’ve LOVED an awesome new XBox One for Christmas, but I did what I could. How do you think it makes him(and me) feel to basically be told that his new system isn’t worth buying any accessories for, and we should just forget about it and buy a One with all of the extra $ 500 I have lying around? Fortunately, did NOT share this young man’s opinion of our gaming system, and our new hard drive will be here in two days. Shame on you, dude at Game Stop. We won’t be back.

This location is close to my house and there isn’t much to rave or complain about. Just like any other game stop you may have to listen to the staff go on and on about how unfair it is about Nintendo cracking down on imported Japanese 3DS games. One thing that does really bug me is the company constantly runs sales on Skylander products but then never get any new inventory in stock. This location does carry about twice as much Skylander stock as the store on the west side, so a dork does have that going for him.

As a certified geek-boy I’ve spent my fair share of time in game stores and even a slew of Gamestop locations. This one is one of the more friendly and helpful I have been in. They seem to have a solid knowledge of the current and past games and are willing to provide candid feedback. They have efficiently handled my orders, trade-ins, etc and have even gone a bit above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. There are several locations of this chain in Ann Arbor, but I have made this one my ‘home’ store based on a consistently positive experience.
