Persistent aches? Chances are good I can help you. My goal is to have you leave my office with a lasting improvement in your pain situation, and feeling a more hopeful. Some patients tell me their pain was gone after our first session.

The body’s structure is pulled out of balance by persistent reflexive involuntary tensions. These tensions are the usual source of pain, distorted posture, and hindered movement. Stretching doesn’t solve the problem. It just tightens up again. Slow, low-effort, pain-free Hanna Somatic Movements clear the body from habitual tension.

Clinical Somatics is gentle, treatment of the source of pain and dysfunction that will empower you to take care of yourself, and ease or eliminate your pain.

Back, hip, SI-joint, and neck pain are specialties. I can also help with headaches, jaw, shoulder, arm, elbow, wrist, hand, leg, knee, foot pain.

«When structural stress is the source of pain, the ONLY way to alleviate the pain is to correct the structure.

Often, pain shows up far from its source. If the structure is not corrected and put into balance, every other method of treatment is simply palliative, relieving pain without dealing with the underlying cause.»

Business Owner

After two careers, I ended up with a lot of pain. 15 years as a carpenter working with structure and detail. 15 years as a glass artist learning the value of refinement. I searched and studied, and schooled and sought out the most advanced effective manual therapy techniques from some great mentors.

Now I help others get closer to resolution of their pain.
