Established in 1972.

Since its founding in 1972, our firm has been committed to helping our clients achieve their business goals by providing the highest quality accounting, tax and management advisory services. Since the services provided by a CPA firm are only as good as the people providing those services, we are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining the highest quality personnel. Approximately one-​third of our professional staff hold advanced degrees.

Our firm has expanded as our client base has grown. We now have offices in Troy and Ann Arbor serving the metropolitan Detroit area with approximately 25 professionals on staff. Our growth has allowed us to specialize; we currently have partners in audit, tax, and management advisory services. We serve clients in most industries, but have particular strengths in manufacturing, wholesaling, retailing, real estate, non-​profit organization, service industries, contractors, broadcasting and others.

Meet the Business Owner

David A.

Business Owner

David joined Edwards, Ellis, Armstrong & Company in 1992, and became a partner in 2007. He is both a tax expert as well as a financial advisor. He received his BBA in accounting at the University of Michigan with high distinction and then continued to get his MS in Taxation with Summa Cum Laude from Walsh College. David obtained his CPA license in 1995. He also qualified as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP)® in 2005.
