Dorian Deaver is an experienced and highly qualified professional dance instructor. Whether you need to learn the first dance for your wedding or you want to dance competitively, Dorian can coach and teach a wide variety of dances for every skill level. Dorian offers private lessons as well as group classes at his studio, which can accommodate up to 20 people.

Dorian’s specialty is teaching dance for wedding receptions! From bridal dances to mother and son dances, Dorian is able to coach you until you’re gracefully flowing on the dance floor. These classes usually last 5 lessons and are shared private in order to give couples more personalized attention. You can also bring your whole wedding party for a fun-​filled group lesson!

For competitive dance, Dorian teaches a variety of types including salsa, jazz, swing, tango, and rumba. Whether you’re 20 or 70, novice or experienced, Dorian will work with you. Dorian also DJ’s for all events! Please contact Dorian and join the fun today!

History

Established in 1977.

Dorian has been teaching dance since June 7, 1977! He was introduced to partner dancing in his college gymnastics coach’s social dance class.

Dorian was introduced to partner dancing in Coach Loken’s social dance class, and has enjoyed sharing the gift of dance ever since. Dorian graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the School of Education. After college, he created Dazz Dance Productions, an entertainment company dedicated to high quality music and dance. Through this company, the careers of some of this area’s top mobile and club DJ’s were launched.

Dorian has over 30 years of experience as a professional DJ and ballroom dance coach. He has even created the «Dorian Bridal Dance», to help newlyweds look great at their wedding reception. In 1996 he received the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Associate Degree, and continues his own professional training with world class coaches.
