This is one of those not-well-known amazing places. The cheesesteak hoagies are perfect!

the steak and cheese hoagie was absolutely delicious! It’s a small place, but the food is amazing. The man at the counter is very nice, he made sure we had napkins and ketchup for our fries to go. The hoagie was no enough for two. I highly recommend going here if your hungry :)

Great place for some sulong tang. Hoagies are great too! I usually end up getting both. I know it’s a strange combo, but somehow, it works!

I stumbled upon this place because I was working right next door all summer. One day I walked outside for lunch and found this shopping plaza which had Broadway Café. What an interesting mix of food. They have hoagies and ramen… I am not sure how they came up with this combo, but it works for them. I had been craving ramen for a while so I ordered the spicy ramen noodles. The price was about $ 10 and I felt very full afterwards. I didn’t get a chance to go back and try the cheese steaks, but it sounds like they are good. The place is pretty small inside, but it never seemed to be busy. It was a little weird being the only person eating in the restaurant, the employees were a little too attentive, but overall it was a good experience and I should have eaten there more than once during my time there.

It has been a while since I reviewed this place so… Have been back several times, I also read here that the owners have changed. Good news now open until 8:30pm. Other news still awesome. Have continued to have cheese steaks and bi bim bop which are both great. Last night I had the Bulgogi cheesesteak which i had never had before because i did not see it on their sign board, it is a little smaller and does not stand out. This thing was GREAT. made with the bulgogi meat instead and had more vegetables like peppers, onions, carrots. So Good, highly recommended.

Yes, it’s expensive(like most things in Ann Arbor). Yes, it’s worth it(unlike most things in Ann Arbor). We have yet to try anything besides the hoagies and fries, but that’s because they are just so good. Served hot and freshly prepared, and almost too much. We find it’s best to split an order of fries. Every time we leave we plan to try something new the next time, but just can’t help ourselves when we get a taste for one of their hoagies. I’m an extra cheese, my husband is regular cheese but add green pepper(and you get lots of fresh chopped pepper). We originally came based on Unilocal reviews(thanks, all!), and were a little troubled when we first walked in. Seemed a little too old, maybe a little dingy, and we just didn’t know what to do(sit and order? pay at the counter after ordering?). Different employees have different processes too, which usually bugs me but just seems to add to the charm here. After a few trips we feel totally comfortable there, and the people working there are so friendly and helpful. We are relatively new to the area, and appreciate the reviews from our fellow Unilocalers. Thanks for pointing us here, and we look forward to trying other Unilocal-recommended places in town!

Today was my first visit and I’m not an expert on Korean food. But this place seems pricey for what you get. Do people rate it highly BECAUSE it’s a hole-in-the-wall joint, or is the other Korean food in Ann Arbor just that bad? Cheap furnishing and disposable(styrofoam) cups. Granted, these guys make a decent dish – I got Bi Bim Bop – but the ingredients are ordinary and I didn’t end up with any leftovers. So, one meal for $ 11 — which might be cheap if you’re from NYC or something.

Great friendly service. A little pricey in comparison to other shops but the quality is very good. I’d give it 8⁄10.

Best bim-bam-bop in town; serving is good, and it comes with mild egg-drop-soup(no food coloring or corn syrup), as well as a side of kim-chi. The kim-chi is not the best I’ve had but it goes well with this dish. The beef tastes excellent; the cucumber is marinated in vinegar and a touch of sugar. I’ve noticed that most korean places have replaced spinach with zucchini, which is a rather odd substitution. the bean sprouts and potato shavings are great, but the carrots need a bit help(with taste). Friendly staff, easy access, no wait and overall clean place. Quite and competitive price.

Best cheese steak you’ll ever have, including in Philly. Owner is amazingly friendly and helpful. Pro Tip: get a side of Bi Bim Bop sauce to put on the hoagie. Adding the sweet peppers is a plus too. Best hidden gem in A2.

A small cafeteria establishment with great cheesesteak hoagies. I’ve always loved going there due to the owner and his sister, who were extremely friendly and added to the charm of the place. Cheesesteak hoagie with hot peppers and freshly fried French fries made for a great casual meal. They changed ownership over the past year, and while the hoagies are similar, it just wasn’t as good as in the past. Maybe there was less cheese, or maybe the bread wasn’t as fresh, or maybe it was because I was bummed that the old owner retired. I’ll still probably order from time to time, but not as often as before.

Tucked away in an off-the-beaten-path strip mall lies a Korean restaurant with the best cheesesteaks in a 50 mile radius. I walked in here and was startled; the interior is so bland, so uninviting, so «eat quickly then get out,» that I felt a little self-conscious being a first-timer. My partner and I ordered two plain cheesesteaks(would have asked for green peppers and more cheese if we weren’t so bashful and unsure) to dine in. Grabbed two cans of beverages out of the fridge and plopped down at a table in front of three hospital employees. Cheesesteaks came out quickly and piping hot. Also, on a sesame seed bun which forced my partner, who is allergic to everything in the world, to pick off large chunks of bread. Cheesesteak was so hot, so good, so meaty I almost teared up. You don’t get them like this ’round these parts. We finished quickly, ready to roll out the door, and paid. Over 21 dollars for two cheesesteaks(plain) and two cans of pop. Pricey but oh so good.

Broadway Café is a great place for lunch when you get that craving for good Korean food. I get that often so I’m here about once a week. Everyone that works here is friendly and cares about what they do. The steak hoagies are excellent! I’d recommend asking for extra hot peppers with your order. Don’t overlook the bi bim bob(bi bim bop) too. It’s authentic and they serve a nice size portion. The soup served with it and the kimchi on the side are perfect complements to the meal. I never leave here hungry.

Loved this place since I found it over a year ago! The steak hoagies were amazing. But after the new ownership there was small changes and one of them was the amount of cheese placed in the hoagie. It was a thin layer smeared on like it was butter on toast! And to balance that out they have extra cheese option for an extra $ 1 or so. That seems ridiculous.

Broadway Café has one of the best cheese steaks I’ve had. A tad greasy, very cheesy and delicious. I usually opt for the pickled hot peppers on it, which I am obsessed with. Haven’t tried their Korean food, but plan on it! The owners have always been very courteous and I love that it’s a hole in the wall.

I’m usually a huge fan of fusion foods but this place didn’t blow me away. They’re best known for their cheesesteaks/hoagies, which I thought were pretty average. I expected more of a Korean twist to it, but the hoagies tasted like cheesesteaks you could find anywhere. One perk about the sandwiches here, however, is that you can personalize them by adding extra veggies and cheese. It’s also extremely filling and they’re very generous with the meat and ingredients, so if you’re looking for a protein-packed meal, give this place a try. The atmosphere was also mediocre. I came in on an extremely humid day and would’ve liked some A/C inside the restaurant, but it was just as hot and even stickier. Overall, the restaurant has more of a hole-in-the-wall feel to it and is run like a small family business. I’m pretty sure the owner was the one who took my order; she was very friendly, which is always appreciated.

What a gem! Only have ever had the cheesesteak with hot peppers, but wow so good! Service is quick and you won’t be disappointed. You can also add mushrooms and green peppers for a small price if you are into that. The cheesesteak is enough for a lunch, I ordered fries one time and didn’t have room for them. So skip or share with a friend. Prices were the only thing limiting the 5 stars. Almost $ 9 for the sandwich. It’s worth it for how good it is, but could be a little cheaper. If you are on this side of town and looking for a good lunch spot with parking that’s a little off the beaten path, you have your spot!

The place is one of those«hole-in-the-wall» Asian restaurants with minimal décor and cafeteria style tables, but the food seems to compensate for this. While it’s not the typical Korean restaurant like Seoul Garden or Tomukun Korean Barbeque, Broadway offers a small selection of Korean foods along with the Hoagies. On my only visit, I ordered their Sulungtang, a great soup to order during the winter, and it was definitely one of the, if not the, best in Ann Arbor. I’ll be sure to update my review after trying out a couple more of their items, but, for now, the Sulungtang alone was dericious.
