Visit Quiet Pleasures Jewelry for jewelry, gifts and unexpected necessities! I pride myself on bringing in new designers every year. I’ve made a conscious decision to work with mostly American designers (many in New England and throughout the Northeast corridor). In addition, many of my designers are one-​person studios and I love supporting small businesses. The biggest advantage is that, even though they are not primarily custom jewelers, many of these designers are happy to consider special requests, resulting in pieces that really are more one-​of-​a-​kind. It’s a bonus for all. After all, not many people want to be wearing the same thing everyone else is wearing! We hope you’ll stop by to visit our little shop.

History

Established in 1995.

The shop first opened in a tiny space one block away from a slightly larger space it has occupied since 1997. Several best-​selling designers have been represented in the shop for many years (and a few for most of its 21 year run) but those designers regularly change and update their lines. I also bring in new designers on a regular basis, and I rarely order multiples of the products I bring in so the product always looks different because it is different!
