History

Established in 2001.

Maverick Creative Group was founded on the premise that it’s better to connect than to conform. After all, when you’re a small business trying to get ahead, it really doesn’t pay to blend in with everyone else. In other words, you’re better off to be a maverick.

David Mace, the CEO and first employee of Maverick Creative Group has always been a maverick himself. He doesn’t make apologies for the way he does things. At the same time, he’s not trying to be different just for the sake of being different. He has a history of results that stretch across two decades and numerous industries, including agriculture, food, business services, chemicals, software and manufacturing.

Based in Andover, Kansas, Maverick Creative Group is centrally located and well suited to serve customers throughout the Midwest.

Business Owner

David Mace, founder/​first employee/​CEO of Maverick Creative Group is a city boy who can’t get enough of the country and the great outdoors. He loves to hunt, fish and walk a wheat field as much as he loves to create winning business models and marketing programs.

When it comes to creating value for customers, Dave’s primary passion is identifying problems and solving them. In short, he uses a strengths-​based approach to help small businesses be all they can be.

David Mace holds degrees in finance and communication from Baker University with a Master of Agribusiness degree from Kansas State University.
