This has become our go to spot for delicious and creative traditional Italian dishes. Yeah, creative and traditional. The lasagna is a cube of wonderful meats, petfect pasta, subtle cheeses and a terrific sauce. Kale salad gives kale a good name Short but fulfilling wine list. This past Saturday was packed at 7, so the app was slow in appearing, but everything rolled out after that from our attentive server Juan on time and cooked just right. We will be back and will bring friends.

Brunch just keeps getting better — the daily hash today was duck and chicken confit with root vegetables — hope it becomes permanent.

A bustling food spot in downtown Andover. The place was packed and tables were a bit crowded together in the main dining room to the right. It took a bit to get waited on and our waiter continued to be busy throughout he night. He forgot to bring bread and butter before our meal came out but the dinner was yummy so it didn’t matter. My husband’s mushroom pizza had truffle oil on it and it was De-Li-Cious. I got the Bolognese and it tasted very authentic. Portions were good and parking was ample. Give it a try!

Had such a nice experience here. Juan was our server and he was terrific. I had the tagliatelle bolognese and honestly it reminded me of the same dish at Barbara Lynch’s Sportello in the seaport. Wife had the spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were perfectly crispy, a pleasant surprise. Great portion sizes, each had enough left over for dinner the next night. Despite what another reviewer said, they had an excellent beer list. Lucky to have such a gem in downtown Andover!

Unimpressed. The place was DEAD on a Saturday night. They don’t have unique enough beers to want to try them… and wasn’t feeling the cocktails. Didn’t stand out ATALL. So I got the old standby gin and tonic where’s it’s almost impossible to F up. And they didn’t F that up. They get a star for that. Got the chicken parm. It wasn’t offensive. But it wasn’t tasty either. Very bland. Never coming here again. An additional star for an inoffensive food item lol

I won’t go into too much detail because it would take too long. Basically the service was pretty bad. My husband and I got the impression they may have been understaffed that night because we had the impression our«waiter» was normally a cook or kitchen help. He messed up our order completely. When I finally got his attention and told him we were still waiting for an item he replied«that didn’t come out yet?» Don’t pass the buck, that’s the waiter’s job! I also hate when the waiter comes back when we’re nearly finished to ask how our meals are. That should be done soon after you they are served. Food is fine. I would give it another try to see if it was just an off night. To me, when dining out, service is just as important as the food. It can ruin the whole experience. We basically took turns eating because of all the screw ups.

We came for Father’s Day brunch and the food was not worth the 1 hr and 15 minute wait. They seemed very under staffed for the amount of large parties. The worst part, my Dad’s meal came 15 minutes later than the rest of ours. There was no communication by our server or an apology. Everyone had cold eggs and soggy toast. You can do better!!!

Recently went to Andolini’s on a Friday night with my husband and daughter and her friends. We had made a reservation earlier that day and were seated promptly. The food was good — we all had a variety of dishes and everyone liked what was prepared. It was the service that was bad. Our waiter barely came by our table the entire time we were there. Two of us were only having water with our meal and our glasses were empty most of the time. Made it hard to enjoy the meal when we were so thirsty. The food came out fairly quickly but other staff brought the meal out, not our waiter. After finishing the meal the waiter came by to ask if we wanted dessert. We said no, just the check. It took an additional 15 – 20 minutes before he came by with the check. And he just gave it to us with no apology or explanation. I was happy we had the cash to pay him as we did not want to wait another 20 minutes to get a credit card processed. It was the first time in a long time we did not give a 20% tip. I gave it three stars for the food. If service had been better it would have been more.

Three stars may be a bit of a gift, though Andolini’s IS worth more than two stars. This slightly above mediocre restaurant in the Suburban north is, well, fine… I guess. The service is nice, feel is good, but the food lacks the type of imagination that would encourage me to suggest the pizza unless you feel like paying $ 15 for an $ 11 burger. I hope the rent is high enough to support the pricing as the quality of the food is certainly not.

We came here for brunch! For the steak tartar, which I had gotten an email about a few months prior, that they were adding to their brunch menu! When we arrived, it was not on the menu. I inquired to the bartender, Ashlene, about it and she told me it was just a special that they had, but she would check with the chef to see if he/she could make it for us! He/She said they would! THATISSERVICEATITSBESTEVERYBODY! We love this place! It is amazing food, amazing service and the attitude of everybody who works here is top notch! A++

A great suburban destination. Friday and Saturday nights brings acoustic covers by Ryan Sweezey setting a chill mood. Perfect casual setting for a nice selection of tap brews, bar snacks, apps and flavorful entrees. Attentive service from Juan rounded out the experience. Also a cozy bar where you can eat without feeling out of place. Plan for a very relaxed evening and a happy belly.

My girlfriends and I came in for brunch yesterday. I had never been here before but the place has a good vibe. Had the chicken and waffles because I’m watching my weight(no regrets). The ultimate mimosa was fun and only around $ 11. Can’t beat brunch for $ 9.95 plus drinks. Solid brunch spot

This is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. I got some type of quinoa with scallops and it was amazing. Perfect place for a date night.

I have recently been here for brunch and have had a great experience twice now. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and the food is excellent. Nice sized portions, and very tasteful food. The staff is very attentive, and you could clearly tell that everyone takes their jobs seriously while having fun. I highly recommend this place!

Andolini’s is much bigger than it appears from the outside. You open a big gold door and you immediately see a nice U shaped bar with a dozen seats, a few beer taps, and a big screen tv. There’s a ‘lounge’ area that’s smaller with more casual seating and then there’s a big ‘dining room’ that’s a bit more formal. The menu has enough variety between standard Italian dishes and some more innovative options. Appetizers and entrees are priced reasonably. Service was a bit slow considering the restaurant was less than half full, but we weren’t in any rush so this wasn’t a problem. The individual pizzas are quite large and a great value, whereas some of the other entrees are smaller portion sizes, which look even smaller when served on giant plates. They have a gluten free menu, but many fried items are listed and these items are fried in the same fryer as items containing gluten. Thankfully the server pointed this out, but be careful when ordering if you have Celiac or a severe allergy. They do have gluten free pasta, which was cooked well and was confirmed to be cooked in separate water.

Over all pretty good! We went for brunch on Sunday! Service was slow! The server forgot my kids juice(I reminded him)! I ordered the quiche of the day! It was good but I the thing about quiche or anything with the main ingredient being egg is that you can tell if it was reheated! Also, a person in my party had her eggs cooked incorrectly! Also, nor very kid friendly since the served my 2 yo drinks in a glass! But server was friendly and the dessert was delicious! Also loved the décor!

Fantastic!!! My job has me traveling all over North America. I entertain clients in the finest restaurants. Andolini’s food holds its own with any of them. I moved to Andover this past summer, I have tried them all but Andolini’s is my local favorite by far. Great relaxed atmosphere, fun bar, super drinks, and the food is incredible. A must try.

I’m really discouraged by all the bad reviews I see here. I’ve eaten here twice now and compared to the other options in the Andover area, I was pleasantly surprised both times. I’m a sucker for Italian food and could pretty much eat it every day. Here’s my praise for Andolini’s: Appetizers: Crunchy Meatballs — 8⁄10 I love a good meatball, and this had a good level of crunch. The seasoning on the meatball was pretty good, too. I enjoyed this app, I would have just wanted the meatball juicier on the inside. Pan seared Tuna Montalto w/lobster & asparagus hash — 9⁄10 The tuna was cooked extremely well, a very nice sear, a nice seasoning, and not over cooked. The hash was a bit odd on the first few bites and I questioned the harmony of the dish, but by the end, when you make sure you get a little bit of everything all on a single bite, it makes sense and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Entrée: Spicy Frutti di Mare — 8.5÷10 I’m a huge sucker for a well done pasta dish. The sauce had a great taste to it, a nice level of tang from the tomatoes, that was mellowed out with a good taste of garlic and fresh herbs. I ate every bit of this and cleaned my sauce with the bread. Great entrée and it’s a very comforting meal for me personally. Perhaps I’m easily swooned by the flavors and textures of seafood, pasta and a good marinara, but not everyone does it well. My only slightly negative comment would be to go a little bit easier on the parsley. Otherwise, I absolutely loved it. My girlfriend and I went during off-hours so it was nice and cozy. Not too loud, and a nice dim environment for us to just casually dine. The entrees took some time to come out(despite there only being a few of us in restaurant) but for what I got to enjoy, I immediately forgot about the amount of time I had to wait. Competing with one other italian restaurant that I consider worthwhile in this area, I consider this my favorite. I’ll be coming back time and time again when I just can’t kick my craving for some good ol fashioned pasta.
