Tay Home is a tea and home shop located in the historic hamlet of Andes, NY. Here we serve Nini’s ever-​growing collection of Tay Tea blends, as well as delicious sweet and savory tea foods at the new Tay Tea Bar. We now offer Massage and Yoga sessions at Tay Home (reservation required, see website for details).

History

Established in 2003.

Founded by tea connoisseur Nini Ordoubadi in 2003, TAY TEA is a New York-​based company specializing in exclusive hand-​blended artisianal teas. All ingredients are 100% natural and wild-​crafted. Nini’s signature teas enhance any lifestyle and invite one to embark on the timeless ritual of drinking tea.

In 2010, Tay Home expanded to include a new Tay Tea Bar offering refreshing iced tea and snacks.

In 2011, Tay Home moves to a new location at 131 Main Street in Andes, NY!

My love affair with tea goes back to when I was a child. I remember many afternoons, sitting with my grandmother under the shade of an orange tree in her garden, sipping fragrant and exquisite tea blends that she created using roses, linden flowers, orange blossoms, and quince that she would pick from her trees. Mesmerized by the beauty of it all, I would raise the tulip-​shaped glass, close my eyes, and savor each delicate note. I loved spending those precious hours alone with her, sipping tea and listening to her gentle voice explaining the healing properties of each blend. The peace and happiness that I found in that garden has permanently been stamped into my heart and inspired me to create my signature blends.
