Established in 1982.

For more than 27 years, Sylvan has helped more than two million students learn to read, write, calculate and organize themselves to reach their full potential inside and outside of the classroom. More importantly, Sylvan has help children develop a love of learning and a confidence that they can carry throughout their lives.

Meet the Manager

Jean L.

Manager

Jean earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Souther Wesleyan University. She worked with the Pickens County School District as a full time teacher and later as a subsittue teacher. Jean has been with Sylvan for four years and began as an instructor. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and scrapbooking. Jean feels that the greatest joy of her career is seeing children blossom academically and emotionally.
