Sue’s Wings and Things

This restaurant has the small town, local hang-​out feel to it. It’s right off of the interstate and sits to the side of the main road by its self, so you can’t miss it. The waitresses are very friendly and they have a very down home, country kinda personality. It was pretty quiet in there, and they have TVs so you can watch sports and grab a drink or two.
The bar serves a variety of bottled domestic beers along with a few brands of whiskey and liqueur. As for regular beverages, they serve fountain Coke products. Unfortunately, they do not have bottled water, if that’s a concern of yours.
The menu has a variety of sandwiches and burgers to choose from along with a few seafood options and steak.
My choice for today was the Patty Melt which had a beef patty, sautéed onions, and provolone cheese on two toasted slices of bread alongside some seasoned french fries. Overall everything was cooked well and was delicious from beginning to end. If You like sports, a cold beer, and a good sandwich… This is the place for you

I’ve heard of this place for years now? My family and I finally decided to try it out. I have the most delicious steak ever (medium well) and my honey and our sons had quest cheese fries with bacon added on top with a side of the lemon pepper wings. Tasty:)

First the service — it was good, waitress was friendly. I had the rib combo which is 4 ribs and wings, which I had the lemon pepper. Ribs were okay and wings kind of dry. I finish my beer, pay with my credit card and go. The next day I go to use my credit card and it won’t go through, I check online, still good balance but a note that says it’s been suspended. I call the bank and they ask about 6 charge attempts that day and none of them were mine. (I’m told they are test charges that are small to see if it will go through.) so I’m thinking about the last place I used it at which was here. Now I know your thinking it could be a coincidence. So I’m telling my coworker about it (a bunch of us are working here from out of town) — he tells me that 4 other people including him had the same thing happen after they used their credit card there, the next day someone had tried to use it. That’s a lot more than a coincidence — so I mosey on by and tell Sue and she assures me that it’s not them but she is going to check. I’m not going to hold my breath and keep your credit card in your pocket if you have to go here. I’ll wait for a response from them then if I don’t get one I’ll just contact the authorities. But there is definitely something going on there, especially when the cards are from non locals

I came here a few weeks ago for lunch in a Saturday. I was pleased with the service which was friendly and quick. I order the chicken tenders and fries and the portions were large and well priced. They gave me plenty of honey mustard which is very important when eating chicken tenders. I even had enough to dip my fries in. They weren’t too greasy either! I can see why this place is always busy. I have been wanting to go back to visit again and hopefully will be able to soon!

Great food, great service, and always a great atmosphere! Just a great place to go with the family or to watch a game! Beer always cold!

Dirty, sticky place. Had to wash my hands after just touching the menus. Asked for ranch with my salad, got blue cheese. Sent it back for ranch, got blue cheese again. I know this because «true» ranch came with my wings. Wings, by the way, came with a sweet, sticky BBQ sauce instead of the buffalo sauce I asked for. Sent that back, and got the same sauce again. FINALLY on the third try I got some hot sauce. My son ordered the daily special and didn’t get the roll that was supposed to come with it. Not even worth it to bother her again. Our waitress was nice but clueless. The bathroom… we won’t even go there. I like to try places like this when on a road trip, but places like this is why I usually end up at a chain when on the road (which I don’t like to do).

If you’re looking for a place with great drinks, average food, and a place to people-​watch then this is it! I like the environment and the waitresses are very friendly. The one change I’d make is to get a better air circulating system because the smoke is heavy at times.

It’s a bar with a restaurant. That’s about as simple as it gets. Wings are great. All meals we have had there have been good. Booths are not real comfortable, and service is usually slow. Don’t go there if time is an issue. If the booths were more comfortable the slowness of the service would not be a big issue. Wait staff is always polite and professional.

The wife and I have been here a few times, took the family last night & I won’t again. I know it’s a bar so you have to expect a band or karoke & that’s ok, maybe a little loud for the kids! The food however, is VERY hit & miss… I LOVE their homemade fried mushrooms & a couple other menu items. The «cajun» wings I had last night were horrible! I think I still taste cloves!!! I ordered them grilled and they came out fried & overcooked. Told my waiter and he said «That’s what they smell like, cloves! they’re not really cajun and kind of sweet, huh?» Told him mine were bland & sent 4 of the 6 back but, I paid for them with a smile. Lesson learned…
Great place for a drink & maybe snack but, much better food a couple of exits down I-​85.

I’ve been here twice now when we were visiting my sister-​in-​law in Anderson. They have really good chicken tenders and the last time we were there, hubby had a burger. He said it was a standard bar food burger. This time, I ventured out and tried the nachos. I wasn’t all that impressed, but they were still good, just not sure I’d order them again.
The seats are kinda uncomfy because when you are in a booth, the bench isn’t as wide as normal, so you kind of feel like you’re falling off the chair.
Anyways, we will definitely be back to try some more of their food… but I’d recommend the chicken tenders!
