This is our family’s favorite. I came here while pregnant to eat spicy red curry to jumpstart labor and it worked! Now four years later we eat here at least 3 times a month and have tons of favorites. The fresh rolls are always good as is the Pad Vud Sen. The Pad Thai is not overly sweet like some of the other local restaurants and the service is wonderful. It’s one of those hidden gems on Muldoon.

First on my Alaska Food Tour! We’re craving for Thai, and surprisingly there’s quite a few here. Not expecting that or good Thai food in the arctic but what do I know. The overall ambience and décor was very Thai, warm, casual, no fuss, and cozy like what you’d expect from a Thai eatery. Now this being Alaska, it’s not exactly known for its culinary treasures, Good Food & cheap eats in this icy land are nill so this place is a gem for sure.

Great service & great food! I wish the location of the building was a little better, each time I have to go I have to make a U-turn and it’s inconvenient but that can’t really be helped.

One of my favorite Thai places in Anchorage. Delicious red curry. Despite what Unilocal says, they are actually open on Sunday’s.

I definitely found my Thai place, as you can tell by all the check-ins. The Pad Thai is ok, but the lunch specials are great. Most of the lunch specials come with soup, salad(with a peanut based dressing), pickled cucumbers and carrots, and rice. Most of the specials are some type of curry, protein and vegetable. Obviously if you’re dining in, you can make the dish as spicy as you want, so no worries on that front for me.

I tried the chicken Pad Thai and fried spring rolls. The spring rolls and sauce were delicious, however the pad thai was disappointing. The flavor was not there and it was extremely greasy. There was no question as to how spicy I would like the dish as I have always been asked at every other Thai restaurant I have been to and the lack of spice and zing was disappointing. Needless to say this will not be a place I will be actively looking forward to in the future.

Can only vouch for the Pad Thai, but it’s a great choice. Comes with chicken and shrimp. I ask for medium spice added to it. Carry out or dine in, the staff is pretty friendly and the prices are about what you find everywhere in Anchorage.

Came here a couple months ago & had the worst roast duck ever! It was cold, bland, dry, and just laying there. The pad Thai was very disappointing! Fried rice was okay. Not coming back here. although, I did love the old Thai feel of the place.

LOVE love love this restaurant! I’ve been eating here for 10 years. Definitely the most authentic and flavorful Thai restaurant in Anchorage. The women that own and run the restaurant are so wonderful. It is well decorated and they have made many upgrades over the years to improve the look and atmosphere. The portions a big and served piping hot. You can order and thing on the menu and you’ll love it.

Very good and authentic, per my Thai wife, the papaya salad could have been better but all and all pretty good.

Wife and I have been enjoying the food at this family owned Thai resturant for over 20 years and they are on our short list of places to eat at whenever we’re in town. She ordered her standing favorite — Pad Thai and enjoyed very bite. I’ve developed a taste for curry so I tried and enjoyed every bite of the Kang Kiew Warn Curry. So, we’re happy to report that Thai Village is still serving great Thai meals.

I’ve always gotten Vegetable Pad Thai here. I’ve had it at other places around town but this is my favorite so far :) also their chicken fried rice is to die for. The others day I was adventurous and tried the Paneng Chicken Curry, delicious! Service could be a little faster but they are sweet and have great food. *not to mention they give military discount

We know how much I love my Thai food… and this place was not bad. I went for dinner the other night and had a great meal. I will say the atmosphere is a little bland, but the food was great. My server was okay… she would walk up to the table, but didn’t ask if we needed anything, she just waited until you told her you needed a drink or that you were ready to order. She could have been a little more outgoing and talked to us, but it was also nice to be left alone and not over burdened. I ordered a pineapple curry shrimp meal which came with a great amount of shrimp. I am always disappointed when ordering a menu item where they skimp on the meat or seafood… this place I felt I got my moneys worth. I will say that they offer a soda option for $ 1.50, but it is a can of soda… they obviously buy a 12-pack of soda for $ 6 and make a whopping $ 12 in pure profit… that is the way to do it if you are a business owner. There were a lot of people that came in throughout the meal for to-go orders so I would say they do pretty well in that area of their business. I was one of four parties that were dining in and it was overall quiet and serene. I would say that I had a pretty good experience here and would not shy away from going back again. There are a lot of Thai options in Anchorage, and I would rank this one as a nice place to try to experience the different options within the local area. I was pleased overall.

After having gone here a few times I wanted to just say that I have thoroughly enjoyed eating here. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and typically seasoned very well and the portions are generous. Entrees will run 11.95 and up and are worth it. The fresh rolls are delicious. This is our go to place for Thai now in Anchorage.

After reading the reviews for this place on Unilocal,I was excited to give it a try. I would have been better off going anywhere else. The pros — spring rolls were excellent, and service was quick, as we were one of only two parties there. The cons — the servers were creepy. They stood by the kitchen, staring at us while we ate. Not asking if we needed anything, not asking how we liked the food. Just staring at us. The entrees were totally bland. Everyone in my party got sick within a half hour of eating here. I wouldn’t return if you paid me.

Tried and true meal at Thai Village! Like being part of the family they greet you warmly then provide a great meal. Second time with the duck soap and both times it has been delicious. Tough choice since the Tom Kar Kai is awesome and hard to pass up. Simple interior but consistent food is worth the stop.

Best Thai food in Anchorage! My favorites: fresh rolls, sidewalk noodle(chicken and rice noodle), and kang karie Kai. Great service!

Everything I’ve had here is excellent, and the flavors really pop. The fried spring rolls are some of the best I’ve ever had, the sauce it comes with isn’t too sticky or sweet. What else I’ve tasted: chicken pad thai, coconut soup with chicken and cilantro, and the red curry… YUM! The red curry seafood is a spicy dish, and tastes sooo good. In comparison to other Thai restaurants I’ve been to, this place doesn’t have their chicken/rice/meat SWIMMING in overpowerful sauces. There’s just enough to coat everything and add great flavor. On a side note, if you come by yourself and like reading, you won’t be bored. They have dozens and dozens of back-issues of National Geographic… earliest is from 1970 that I saw.
