Hmm there is a Paige M. as the manager of Green Acres and then a Paige M leaves a good review for Green Acres and bad reviews for Ground Effects, Gage and Faltz Landscaping and a 5 star review for Green Acres. Totally not suspicious at all.

The tree removal was great. They did a great job. However, It took a couple calls to get someone out. They were too busy one day to talk, so they asked if they could call us back. They never did, so we called them… When they finally came out to give us an estimate they were two hours late — we had to call them to see if they were still coming out that night.
But the billing … To make a long story short, they claimed they did not receive our check. My husband did some research and they did in fact receive and cash our check. We called back and let the lady know what day it had cashed. She «looked into it» and called back stating they have no record of cashing the check.
We let it go for awhile … surely they’d discover their error? No. We received another bill. We called and we were told we had to provide proof they cashed our check.
So … My husband took time out of his day to contact the bank, paid the $ 10 fee to ‘get proof’ the check was cashed. We mailed off ‘the proof’ that they had, in fact, cashed the check.
We haven’t heard anything since. We will not be using them again.
PS — TOO FUNNY about Paige from Green Acres leaving negative comments about the competition. I’ve worked with her briefly in the business world and she’s not very nice. :)
