Anchorage Tours and Transfers

Picked up from our hotel in anchorage and took us to our cruise in Whittier.
We stopped for pictures a few times and then for a short walking tour at Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center where we saw bears, a fox, a bald eagle, and lots more.
Our driver was knowledgeable, friendly, and offered to take pictures with our cameras at each stop.
TIP: Try the reindeer sausage at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Delicious! Bought 1 for our family to share; should have bought 2 or more.

Used Anchorage Tours & Transfer to get 23 people from Seward to Anchorage after our cruise. They were great. Laura was our driver who was very friendly, and knowledge of the area. Took us to a couple photo stops, and drove us through the Wildlife Conservation Center. Kept us on track so we all made our plane. Took some of our party to another location too. She was awesome. Found them on Unilocal,and used due to reviewes. SO much more worth the $ 100 pp the ship was charging to transport, with the exact same stops. Thanks, Laura!!! You were GREAT.

Made our vacation so easy and relaxing. After being on the Princess Cruise line we had the best vacation here in Alaska.

I took the direct Anchorage to Whitter transfer.
For a ‘Discount’ company the value paid ($ 30 pp) and the friendliness of Judy and Dan I would recommend them.
If you are looking for 5 star service where the driver holds your hand, this isn’t it. This is a small shuttle bus (Parked right next to the HUGE buses that you book from Princess and pay $ 70 pp for). They put your luggage in a trailer behind the bus.
If you have a Northern Lights book you can save another $ 15.
In fact, Judy went 100% OUT OF HER WAY to find a family that didn’t read the instructions and sat at the Taxi terminal instead of the Bus Area. She didn’t have to do that but she said it would be better to risk 5 minutes and have happy passengers.
She’s also a good narrator of the local items and is friendly.
So I can testify that if you need to get to Whittier and don’t want to spend double just for a prettier bus with a bathroom for a whole 1.5 hr drive, book them!
So why didn’t I give them 5 Star? Well because they aren’t a 5 Star Company, they are a discount company with a smaller van that fits my purpose precisely!

We took the bus from Whittier to Anchorage airport following our cruise. Could not have been any easier and the price was half of what the cruise line would have charged. Driver was very informative

…and after some research decided to book this company from Seward back to the airport in Anchorage. Made a couple of stops for pics and one stop at the Animal Sanctuary… it was great! First time I got to see the Alaskan animals throughout the whole cruise. Loved it… and a little cheaper than the other transport companies. James was our driver and he is very informative, funny and nice!
Will definately use this company again!

Took the 4 ½ hour transfer from Seward to Anchorage with Judy and it was AWESOME. I was nervous about booking with this company, but it was a good $ 30 cheaper than the bus transfer offered by Celebrity. Judy was not only very considerate (made sure the passengers in the back of the bus were not too hot or cold) but a great tour guide. She was so knowledgeable about the area and was just all around awesome to talk to. Great stories and a wonderful bus transfer. Definitely glad that I went with Anchorage Tours and Transfers.

Bus broke down on the way to pick us up in Whittier for a transfer to Anchorage. Were not offered any alternate transport options. We had to find a way to get to Anchorage on our own.

Payuk was our driver from Seward to Anchorage after our cruise. He was very laid back, funny, told us about the areas we went through, answered any questions we had. He even was quiet when we all dozed off! We loved all the areas we stopped and he was a very safe driver. Great experience, thanks Payuk!

We took a minibus from our Celebrity cruise ship, which terminated in Seward, to the Anchorage airport. Getting onto the tour bus was only slightly confusing – not a big deal at all. James was our driver, and especially compared to a driver on a Celebrity excursion bus to the Yukon, was great. He was enthusiastic and energetic without being exhausting and hardly told any lame jokes :). His knowledge of the area was extensive, and we learned as much about Alaska in four hours as we learned on the entire Cruise! This is a very good deal. Our advice is for folks not to panic on disembarking. Just look around you, and you will find Anchorage Tours and Transfers without any great difficulty. And you will learn a lot! And see wonderful wildlife at the Wildlife Sanctuary! Don’t forget to tip the nice girls who sell great coffee and café mochas at the first stop.
