Business Owner

Amanda was born and raised in Alaska grew up mostly in Anchorage but some years in Glennallen.

After graduating high school she attended UAA and later Charter College hoping to find something she loved. After three years of college she decided to take a break due to her engagement to her now beloved husband Bo.

She started planning small events such as birthday parties and baby showers, but it wasn’t until she planned her own wedding that she truly fell in love with it.

She has worked in the oil and construction industry for 6 years and she decided it was time to start doing something she loved. She began Alaskan Elegance in early 2011 and has already made good friends in the wedding industry and looks to help make your special day truly wonderful!

She has a certain knack for planning your events to match your personality and likes to make it your own.
