History
Established in 2013.
We started our business in 2013 after first shifting our own lives to a fully plant-based and gluten-free diet. After 3 months, our weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, and sugar dropped to healthier levels as a result. Those of us who were on medications, were able to go off the meds. We are so excited about being leaner and meaner as a result of our new diet. We have an amazing, growing menu and we don’t really miss animal products or wheat. Experiencing such positive results in our personal lives pushed us to want to share the same with others. Alaska Vegan and Gluten Free is a natural extension of the way we now live our lives.

Business Owner
Kristin Donaldson was a photojournalist for 26 years before starting Alaska Vegan and Gluten Free. She opened AVGF in 2013 as extension of the way she lives her own plant-based, gluten-free life. The results of eating this way are so positive, she decided to share it with others.
