Alaska SPCA Thrift Shop

History

Established in 1978.

The Alaska SPCA was founded more than three decades ago by Ethel Christianson, (a woman way ahead of the times), with the belief that animals, as living creatures, are entitled to basic rights to their care, treatment and protection. As a result, the organization has been involved in helping to alleviate animal suffering throughout the state of Alaska.

Manager

Jacqueline is the thrift shop’s new manager. She has a passion for working hard but also having a good sense of humor and connecting with customers on a personal level. She value’s ensuring that our customer’s have a good experience at the thrift store. It has been a priority for her to take in the feedback of customers and employees to increase the quality of the merchandise as well as the shopper’s experience, She favors in-​person interaction with customers and is never too busy to address the needs or concerns of our shopper’s as well as laugh over a good joke. She invites you to visit our thrift store, introduce yourself, browse around or just have a free cup of coffee and enjoy the freindly atmosphere.
