In Riding A Horse We Borrow Freedom! Yes U Can Ranch provides horseback riding lessons for all ages. We offer lessons to both able body and those with special needs. We have gentle horses and ponies and teach full horsemanship classes so you can become friends with the horse or pony you are riding. Safety is the most important concern and horses are specially picked based on the rider. If you just want to learn more about these majestic animals or you are on the road to owning your own, check out Yes U Can Ranch and we will steer you on the path that is right for you! We are a riding school and do not offer trail rides.

Cami has nearly 40 years horsemanship experience. She has been instructing consistently for over 13 years. Cami has completed and passed certification with PATH Intl, and is a Registered Equine Assisted Activities & Therapeutic Riding Instructor. She has an innate ability understanding for both her horse and rider. Safety is the most important aspect of her business, but smiles and enjoyment while exercising and learning is a very close second.

I came across Yes U can ranch when I was searching for Hippo therapy for my son with cerebral palsy. My son was 2 years old when he started riding with Cami and her team. At first I was a bit apprehensive. My son is not able to hold up his head let alone sit on his own how was this horseback riding thing going to work. Cami and her team were the most professional and caring individuals.
We stuck with the weekly sessions and started to notice that my son’s lower truck was getting stronger as well as his neck. Not only was he getting stronger but he was also relaxing more as he rode the horse. (This is a big deal for a child with high tone due to CP).
We have had to miss some sessions due to my son’s health and/​or weather and we have noticed that he does decline when he misses more then 2 weeks sessions. So we are most definitely certain riding has have a positive affect on him. He will even cry when it’s time to go home.
As far as Cami besides being a great instructor she is a MAMA Bear at heart and she treats her riders as an extension of her family. I have complete trust in her commitment to have my son’s best interest at heart when it comes to his Riding therapy.

I was looking to learn to ride as an adult and had tried a few other stables, but they were more expensive and taught me far less than Yes U Can. It is clear that Cami of Yes U Can REALLY knows horses! She taught me more in the first 30 minutes than I’ve learned everywhere else combined. She is fun and patient, which is great because I’m very much a novice. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed, and taught me the WHY’s as well as the WHAT’s with horses. The facility is beautiful and to say the horses are well trained and well taken care of is an understatement. I drive from Long Beach to Anaheim and it’s definitely worth it. Getting to hang out with her pig, goat, lamb, and chickens is just a bonus :)

Was looking for a 1 hour horseback riding lesson for two. Came across Cami’s service here.
Cami got me and a friend some Saturday lessons on mildly short notice. She has a $ 35 introductory price anyways, so I didn’t need to buy a Unilocal deal anyways.
Very friendly and her employees (volunteers) are nice young girls who are knowledgable about the horses. Our hour ended up going maybe a bit over 60 minutes but Cami wasn’t strict on that. She always either answered my phone calls or called right back. Very nice and very friendly, and I would recommend this place to family and friends and even go again.
P. S. I checked Groupon for a couple places and they always had crazy bad reviews about how you buy the Groupon and the place wouldn’t return your phonecalls or anything. This place is the same price as those groupons and a good business.

Cami is great, she taught me everything I know about horseback riding and grooming a horse, vitamins, care, ect. She is very kind and helpful with anything I ever need, she always takes time to help me. I am very happy I have such a wonderful trainer and she is always in a good mood.
I would recommend her for anyone that wants a great trainer, whether it is theraputic or just for fun. Also, I have watched her theraputic lessons and she does such a great job with children of all ages and adults! She communicates clearly how to do everything and gives you the reason for why it is important, which really helps me out when riding with her.
Cami is the only trainer that I have talked to that I feel comfortable working with me and my horse! I am happy I started my training with Cami instead of a different trainer. She really is great with me and my horse Scarlet :)

Cami is fantastic. I brought my shy almost 5 year old daughter to Cami because she’d been wanting to try horseback riding. She had tried both gymnastics and ballet in the past but we found that her shyness made those lessons painful for all involved. As a last shot, we paid for an introductory lesson with Cami to see whether horseback riding might be a better fit. I’m so glad we did. Cami is patient and was able to connect quickly with my kiddo. She put everyone at ease immediately and my daughter really enjoyed her introductory lesson. Cami put her on a sweet little pony after giving her a chance to do a little grooming so she would feel comfortable. My daughter couldn’t wait to go back for a second lesson, which was also great, and we are planning on going back for weekly lessons. Besides being a great teacher, Cami is personable, and very reasonably priced. I’m so happy we found Yes U Can Ranch!

This is my first Unilocal review. :)
I haven’t been on a horse in more than a decade, had a hankering desire to go back in the saddle and found Cami through Unilocal.
I am thoroughly impressed with Cami’s expertise. She instantly made me feel comfortable and patiently explained the grooming procedures, as well as explain the significance of it. I was able to get a hang of riding 30 minutes into our lesson! Cami is very hands on as a teacher, but she also encourages independence which I very much appreciate.
Everything from scheduling the appointment to finishing my first lesson was exquisite. After my ride I got acquainted with Cami and her wonderful volunteers. The atmosphere at the ranch is very relaxing. Felt really homey.
ADVICE:
Wear specific boots for this activity. I came straight from work today and they ended up being muddy. So I’ll wear them for riding from now on.
To save time, download the forms on her website, fill them out so they’re ready for your first lesson.
I highly recommend Cami and looking forward to regular lessons. :)

I have a 4 ½ year old daughter with SLOS and I would highly recommend Yes U Can Ranch to anyone who has a child with special needs. My daughter has been working with Cami for only a few months and she has already come so far. There are so many benefits to having horseback riding therapy with a patient, loving, and knowledgeable therapist like Cami. My daughter’s core, trunk strength, and balance have improved so much that she is now able to use her walker instead of her gait trainer.
She started with a leader and two side walkers and now she only needs one and has gone from walking to a trot.
She also has auditory and tactile sensitivities and originally would not touch the horses and was frightened by the horse and rooster sounds. Now she is touching the horse’s mane and is able to tolerate all the different animal sounds at the stables. It is so exciting to see her blossoming each week with Cami.
