WorldMark Anaheim

Great service, great employees. My only complaint is the transit to disneyland, it works but isn’t good at keeping a time schedule, at least the 6 or so times I used it. They were sometimes early, and sometimes very late. Which resulted in a lot of waiting sometimes.

This place was amazing! The room (3 bedroom /​2 bathroom) was super clean and such a convenience with our 2 small children. The pool is BEAUTIFUL! We spent a lot of time there with our visiting family. They have a nice area to BBQ and plenty of tables and lounge chairs. The customer service was fantastic! Parking is free and is located right next door. The shuttle to Disneyland conveniently comes every 20 minutes and takes you directly into the park — The women bus driver was extremely rude, but I won’t deduct any stars for that :) We can’t wait to return!

My family and I stayed May 31-​June 4
Pros:
~Less than 10 minutes (driving) from Disneyland (There’s a bus that picks you up right outside the hotel)
~The staff is amazing. Everyone was super nice.
~It’s near a 7 – 11, a Wal-​Mart and plenty of restaurants
~They offer coupons and deals for some of the restaurants and attractions nearby
Cons:
~There were holes in my sheets AND the shower curtain. Not a big deal but it made me uneasy our first night, like what else am I going t find? I honestly forgot out them after that first night.
~World’s slowest elevator. We stayed on the 9^th floor and it always took 3 – 4 minutes for the elevator to come.
~They invite you to this «breakfast» when really it’s a cheesy power point presentation to get you to buy what they’re selling.

Our home away from home when visiting Didneyland. All their rooms here are equipped with kitchens, washer & dryers and each room has its own balcony. We’ve stayed in their studio (queen Murphy bed and small couch that can sleep two small kids), one bedroom one bathroom (sleeps 4 w/​separate bedroom and full size pullout couch) and two bedroom two bathrooms (which sleeps up to 6). The rooms are always clean with all the amenities. Wi-​fi is free in room for up to 2 devices. The resort has a gym, game room, pool and rooftop hot tub. The Disneyland fireworks can be viewed from the rooftop which is nice. The resort is also conveniently located walking distance from Cheesecake Factory. Staff is always nice, but watch out for the sales pitch when you pick up your parking ticket… they always try to get you to sign up for a presentation to buy into more timeshare points. Other than that, this is a great resort to stay at with the family.

I’ve received a refund from the sales office. I would be more concerned if they did not. Thank you Toni for taking care of that.
This is great place to stay if your family is part of the Worldmark family. Which is the case for us. It’s very convenient to get to the Disney theme parks and the rooftop jacuzzi is a great place to watch the fireworks!

I’ll get right to the one star: no towels in the main pool area — called the front desk 30 minutes ago and still no towels.
Stuff like this gets you to start looking around: dirty carpets, paint pealing up all around the pool, the ridiculous sales pitch in order to collect your parking pass, the many phone calls trying to sell you more points, the one agent at the check in desk but 5 at the sell you more desk… but it all gets back to those pool towels.
I’m writing this after having called a second time — my kids wanting to go see Disneyland but held hostage waiting for towels. Little things matter; especially when they are expensive, like timeshare ownership and Disneyland tickets. Worldmark really needs to shift focus from growth and profits to improving the quality of what is already in their portfolio.

High pressure lying sales pitch for rip off time shares. Cheap breakfast and they lock you in a room. Avoid.

WorldMark Anaheim is right off Disney way, I would say 10 minutes away from DIsneyLand. It is very secure where you need a key card to get in to the building as well as on to the elevator outside to the garage. It is very clean with great amenities. There is a gym, game room and pool. We were able to see the fireworks from our hotel.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom 1 king and 2 twin beds with a pull out couch bed that was queen sized. With that being said, we were able to have 6 people comfortable. In our room there was a full kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, coffee pot, and all the silverware, plates and cups needed.
We loved our stay and wouldn’t mind coming back every single time on our visit back to Anaheim.

Great location for going to Disneyland. Comfortable but kind of old looking inside. Theres a small kitchen, bedroom, pullout couch, and two tv’s with DVDs players. There’s a bus stop located right outside that takes you to Disneyland every 20 minutes. Overall it’s a decent place for going to Disneyland.

As an owner, you go to check in. First, they say you have a breakfast tomorrow and a meeting with the sales people and you have to depose a $ 20 for the breakfast, it is refundable after the breakfast, the breakfast and the meeting is 8 am, you tell them I cannot attend because I am planning on to be at Disney park at 8 am. Well, if you don’t attend we are going to charge your Credit Card on file big bucks as a penalty.
All they look at, is taking your money, this is the second time happened to me, first time was in Windsor California.
Also, your 20,000 Credit they give you per year is only enough for almost 8 night for 2 bedroom during the whole year, when you tell them that is not enough, they tell you: Oh, you can barrow from the following years, they make it sounds like you will never be able to go anywhere the following years unless you buy extra Credit. Each credit will cost you $ 2.17 and you need about 2500 credit per night base on the area you are in, some places it cost 4000 credit per night (Hawaii, San francisco), so you find yourself, in certain times, paying close to$ 6k or $ 7k per night, just calculate it.
One more things, I tried to book 8 times, I only get it twice out of eight, they tell you it all booked, no availability.
Save you money and rent a suit at any hotel or other resort at you convinience, it will turn up cheaper, no one will bother you or force you to things you don’t want to do. Keep in mind the yearly fee is about $ 870, reservation fee $ 60 to $ 70, Resort fee some places up to $ 220 on each vacations you reserve at WYNDHAM SISTER Resorts.
I will never recommend it to anyone.

Five stars goes for the luxury of being a Worldmark owner and staying in a home away from home. We are happy owners, but we’ve learned a few tricks along the way. More later.
Four stars for the property. This is a nice property, in a great location. It’s HUGE. Our son is all grown up, so we are now empty nesters. If that’s your case, you need to expect lots of families and LOTS of kids, and lots of strollers. It’s just what it is. As far as our room, it exceeded my expectations. I immediately noted that it was very clean, especially the kitchen. We had a one bedroom unit with a large King bed. Our bathroom was large and spacious. Thank goodness this shower head was high enough, so that I didn’t have to squat to wash my hair (other properties have this problem). Our kitchen was spacious, and had all that I needed to prepare breakfast each morning (and a few dinners). Because I had booked so far in advance, we got a lovely corner room FACING Disneyland. We sat out, each night, at 8:40pm to watch the fireworks. We loved this! Otherwise, if you aren’t lucky enough to get a room facing Disneyland, you have to go up to the roof to watch the fireworks. We never used the Jacuzzies that were up there, because they were always crowded with young adult.
The pool is rather small, and the pool area was shaded until very late in the afternoon (might depend on what time of year you go).
Zero stars for Wi-​Fi. It sucks. We had to go outside, on the balcony, to get it. I called Resort Net and they tried to improve the connection but it never stayed. They refunded us, so we were happy with that.
Customer service wise, I have no complaints. Always courteous and polite. Check-​in was efficient given that we arrived on a Saturday around 4pm. The place was packed!
Now, here’s what we’ve learned as far as being owners. Expect to be pitched to come to a free breakfast. They promise no more than 60 minutes. The food is nothing special, always the same: oatmeal, scrambled eggs, cold pancakes etc. They call it an «Owner’s workshop», but it’s really a pitch to get you to buy more points. You can get up 60 minutes later, collect your «gift» and all it a day– that we usually do. However, if you get a sales person who is really good at what they do– well, I ended up there for two hours. Buying more points to upgrade to Travel Share sounds so enticing. We can’t use Wyndham’s because we are original owners from way back. So, we can only use Worldmark properties. I was sorely tempted to buy because I’d love to convert my points to cruises etc. The sticker price is shocking! The next time we attend one of these, I will do my homework on financing. Close to 13% interest on $ 19K doesn’t appeal to me at all. I also want to crunch numbers beforehand, so that I won’t fall prey to slick sales tactics. The «you must buy now to get this deal». Don’t believe it. I’ve been offered the same deal every single time. We didn’t buy, and I’m okay with that.
One more tip: If you are within driving distance to your property (which we were), we ordered 3 meals on Blue
These are healthy dinners, with all ingredients you need– well, with the exception of olive oil. I always bring a bottle of olive oil, pre-​mixed coarse salt & pepper, pancake mix and syrup. We always buy eggs, bread and one stick of butter Anyway, with Blue Apron, everything. It comes with recipe cards. (No, I don’t work for them.) I was able to prepare three dinners, in our condo, to save money and calories. Plus, all packaging was recyclable and I didn’t have leftovers.
We went out a couple of times, to eat as well. There are your Big Box Chains, like PF Changs or CPK about 5 minutes walking distance.
Getting to Disneyland is easy. Just buy a ticket, in the lobby, for $ 5.00 to ride all day. The bus stops right out front. Easy Peasy. We spent two days just chilling around our home away from home, and it was one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve ever had. We used the fitness center, the pool, the jacuzzi, read books, watched a little TV and unwound. Great place!

Stayed for a few days during Thanksgiving weekend. It is a nice property with a parking garage. Being Elite members we expected better from Worldmark. We had the same issue we have with all Worldmark properties where one of the sinks in the unit is clogged and water backs up to the sink. This time around it was sink in the master bath. There was gross dark colored water backing up into the sink. We called the front desk downstairs for maintenance and they said they would send someone up. No body came. The next day we had the same problem except water kept filling the sink to a point where it started overflowing. We called for maintenance again and explained to them that we still have this problem and it hasn’t been fixed. We left for the day only to come back in the evening to experience the same problem. If it wasn’t for this issue I would leave a better review but we have too much $$ invested in this timeshare to be dealing with this. We shouldn’t have to worry about a clogged overflowing sink when we are on vacation. This would be the 3^rd or 4^th time we have had the same issue starting the day we arrive at different Worldmark properties. If its not a sink then its the shower drain backing up and overflowing with dirty water. These types of issues makes it hard for us to upgrade our level of membership every time they have those morning seminars for owners which end with a sales pitch and Worldmark trying to sell you more vacation credits.
There is a pool on the ground level, 2 hot tubs on the roof with an observation deck where you can see Disney fireworks at night. Disney does cancel their fireworks shows depending on high winds or bad weather but that’s not Worldmark’s fault. Just know it happens and expect it before heading up there. There is also a good well equipped work out room, an arcade and a nice lounge area. The parking garage is nice and offers more than enough parking on the property and its close to the lobby as well. Apart from the clogged drainage our unit was clean and the carpet was clean. I was expecting dirty stained carpet that turns your socks black when you walk on it but this unit was clean and there was lots of living space. We were on the 11^th floor and had great views. I hope to leave a better review with more stars the next time I stay here.

Stayed for a week thanks to mom and dad. Check in was easy no and quick. We had a hard time getting luggage traveler to the lobby so we ended up packing all are stuff up to the 12 floor. Two bedroom bathroom and living room area was plenty for us. View of the pool and Disney was awesome even at night with the fireworks. Good to come back after a long day at theme parks. Washer and dryer added bonus help with keeping baggage down in the trip. Business center with printer help with online. Staff are friendly down to the maintenance folks great staff.

This is my family’s preferred hotel for Disneyland (Thanks to my sister and her fiancé‘). We always have a nice stay here and the most recent stay we stayed in the two bedroom presidential suite!
The suite was an absolute treat and we looked forward to returning here after a long day at the park!

Oh WorldMark, why must you ruin a good thing with incessant «marketing.» I loved my previous stay here and would have loved this stay as well if only the salespeople would have left my family alone instead of pestering us to listen to their presentations during our family vacation. Instead, as soon as my family checked in, they spent nearly an hour convincing my grandpa to sign up for their presentation breakfast. They even made him put a $ 20 deposit down to confirm our reservation while promising him a $ 100 gift card for attending the breakfast.
We checked in on a Sunday night and our breakfast was scheduled for Wednesday morning so we spent the next several days with it hanging over our heads. We even set our alarms to wake up early for the breakfast and then my grandpa found a note on our door saying that they weren’t able to get the $ 100 gift card and would only be able to offer us $ 75. Not that it’s a big difference but it’s more a matter of being annoyed that they would try to hook us with a higher amount and then say «oops.» My grandpa decided that we weren’t going to waste our time with the breakfast, which I read on other Unilocal reviews is rather lackluster, but he still lost $ 20 in the whole debacle.
I wasn’t there during the initial agreement but my mom relayed the whole story to me. Apparently, the salespeople were relentless and pretend to be your best friend in order to get you to agree. I’m incredibly stubborn and refuse to be sold on things I don’t want to do so I’m curious what they would do if I were to tell them no upfront.
Aside from that issue, the rest of the stay was pretty good. We stayed in a six person room with a king bed, queen sofa bed and two twins. I slept in one of the twin beds and thought the mattress could be a bit softer. Luckily, I was so exhausted after each Disneyland day that I just passed out and likely could have slept on anything at that point. My grandpa and brother tried to sleep on the sofa bed but both complained that the bed creaked too much for two people to sleep on. My brother ended up making a makeshift bed out of the couch cushions on the floor instead and everyone seemed to sleep better then. The kitchen had everything that we needed during our stay, including little packages of seasoning. The two bathrooms were nice to have and we eventually figured out that the hair dryers were stored in bags under the sink. The only issue we had was that the room was only set up for four people instead of six and we had to request extra towels. Although we called about it on Sunday night, the towels were never delivered and we had to make due on Monday morning.
We enjoyed watching the Disneyland fireworks from our 12^th floor room (1218) but didn’t have a chance to check out any of the other amenities.
Also, I find it highly annoying when hotels charge a ridiculous amount for wifi. In this day and age, it should be included in the price.
We parked our cars in the garage and then bought tickets for the ART to get to the park. It cost $ 25 for the five day pass or $ 3 each way. It picks you up in front of the lobby and drops you off right outside the gates at Disneyland.

I have now stayed here twice and to make this an easier to read review I’m going to do it in a pro and con section.
Pros:
The rooms are decent sized
Location! It’s really close to Disneyland!
The lobby is nice
There’s designated electric car parking spots with charging!!!
There’s plenty of parking in a gated garage.
You can see Disney’s fireworks off of the roof and several of the rooms
There’s 2 hot tubs, a main pool and a kiddy pool
Employees were fast to refill the toner and paper in the business center
Washer and dryers in the condo rooms
Free coffee and tea daily in the lobby (wish they’d offer hot chocolate too! ;))
Cons:
The bathrooms! They’re dated and also have small tubs (compared to many other resorts having the large spa tubs)!!
You have to go outside the building to get to your parking as it’s in a parking structure that’s next to, but separate from the main building.
The elevator-​to-​lobby area is EXTREMELY poorly designed! My elderly father got pushed over by some rushing guests because of 1. the guests being rude words that I won’t say on Unilocal but also 2. because the area is so small there’s really no room until you get into the main lobby area.
The 2 computers in the lobby area were out of service the whole time I was there and from speaking to the front desk employees they have basically given up on trying to fix them.
The elevators need to get cleaned. Those floors are SUPER dirty!
The air vents outside in the hallways are super dusty too. (Basically if it’s a common area it wasn’t clean. The lobby and the rooms were fine though.)
They charge a nightly tax that is clouded in mystery as to how it’s figured out.
Pros and cons aside the area the hotel is at is nice. The hotel is also easy to get in and out of since the entrance is off of a street next to Katella.

First let me say that I’m an owner at the Hilton vacation club, Monarch/​diamond vacation clubs and the Pacific Palisades. So I know what first class timeshare vacation is really about. It’s not about what happened to us here.
First off, we never got a confirmation call that they promised.
Came down here for a sales presentation. We needed to change our presentation time so we called the number listed on our paperwork yesterday several times, but got a recording that said they were open until 5 PM and would return the call. We left a detailed message asking to change our time by one hour. Nobody called us back. We called several more times asking for a callback confirmation of our change in time.
When we arrived 15 minutes early for for the new time we had asked for and 45 minutes late for the original time we were informed it was too late. We had missed our slot.
I gave them an F for customer service especially since they’re trying to sell us a very expensive vacation option and can’t bother to return phone call.

I highly suggest you never become a member to this timeshare. It’s highly overrated and they claim to save you money when the reality is, that you can save more money by never becoming a member. I’ve been a member with the lowest membership available. Through the years I’ve learned this timeshare business doesn’t save me money. I pay a high maintenance due annually. The cost that I spend on maintenance dues is equivalent to what I would spend on a hotel in the corresponding areas. Yes, the accommodations is nice but it will take you a significant amount of time to break even on this investment since you’re spending a minimum of 23,000 for 1week of renewable credit a year not including maintenance dues.
After you get the lowest membership, expect to be called to come in and they will try to up sell you to a higher membership. If you say no, they will be rude and treat you like crap because you didn’t do what they wanted. I said no in Anaheim and I was told that I shouldn’t come in if I can’t afford to spend what they are asking.
They also had my personal information and decided to sign me up for a credit card that they push you to get. I declined everything but they still signed me up for the card anyways. I found out they did this because experian sent me a credit warning.
Shame on them for their horrible business practice! Buyer beware!

It’s so convenient knowing owners of the Worldmark timeshares! This is my second time staying at a Worldmark, one in Palm Springs during Coachella.
I wouldn’t mind staying here again. Although it is walking distance to Disneyland, if you have children with you, I wouldn’t recommend the walk. Other good news is that there are plenty of awesome restaurants around the area for dinner.
The difference with this timeshare is the layout is more of like a hotel and more convenient to get to. The room was a bit smaller than the one I stayed in at Palm Springs. The water pressure of the shower was extremely low and unsatisfying. Room was spotless and the furniture looked brand new and modern. Pull out bed was not the most comfortable, but it served its purpose. Two hot tubs and a pool right below our room and others on the roof top. There is a gym that is open ²⁴⁄₇.
Customer service was accommodating and super friendly. One less star because they lack a little market where guests can buy any food they may need at their convenience (one thing Palm Springs had).
