After 6 hours at the park in the heat we were looking for a bit to eat, some shade, and a place to sit. We happened to be in Fantasyland and came across Village Haus. As soon as we got inside I went to look for a table while my husband ordered. There are lots of tables inside, but of course they are all taken. I was able to grab a table for two inside. We shared a hamburger and fries. It was ok, not terrible, but not great. We enjoyed being inside out of the heat for a while. A good place for an inexpensive, quick bite.

This place used to be so much better. Their chicken sausage on a pretzel roll is good, and their BLT Flatbread is good(but small and not filling). Atmosphere is good but you COULD do better if you’re visiting the parks and want a quick snack.

Doing Disneyland on a Tuesday. Not that crowded, but plenty of Disney Princess’s, two-across baby strollers and powered wheelchairs, we finished Mr Toad’s Wild Ride and decided on a noshe that turned into dinner. You order at the cash register and they serve you at the counter, then you take your food to a table. It’s high priced for burger and salads, but hey; you’re in Disneyland. We were able to get burgers protein style. That’s nice that they allow special requests. We sat outside and watched the Disneynauts flow by. It’s a place to refuel and grab a break before mounting another offensive to ride the rides.

You want to like this place bc it’s in Disney and takes you back in time to great memories watching older disney movies, but the food was subpar. I got the flat bread pizza and the dough seemed like may have been blended with chewy cardboard. The burgers were good and fries not too shabby. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cool but I’m not sure I’ll swing back by woth so many other choices in the park.

Horrific food. I’m actually mad at myself for paying $ 10 a head for gas station-level food. Burgers were dry and tasteless. Mac and cheese tasted like cardboard. Fries were made about 2 hours ago, or at least tasted like they were.

I love their angus burgers and their flatbreads, soooo good!!! And you can also order your fries the way you like it, unsalted, extra crunchy and their hot cocoa is also very good on cold nights! Try their pastrami sandwich too, deeelish!!! They also have cute mugs for souvenirs. Friendly staff

I met my daughter and her friends there for lunch today. We had a salad, meaning we shared it. Good size more than i think one person could eat. Nothing special just a salad with walnuts, cranberries, and julienned cut pears. Dressing was good and there was enough to cover the salad. What broke my heart was the fries. They were thin cut with the skin(both to me good points) but they we’re luke warm at best and on the old side. For $ 3.25 for a McDonald’s small size they should at least be hot. One of the girls had gotten a pizza and it looked and tasted more like a frozen one I have at home. There are many places in the park to eat. This won’t be one I go back to.

For three kids’ cheeseburgers(slice of cold rubbery American cheese on a fried burnt rubber circle), a chicken sausage on an old pretzel bread bun, and a sad version of a veggie burger that was more like a frozen veggie patty halfway toasted but still burnt, we would have been more satisfied at McDonald’s and saved $ 30.

It’s a tale as old as time: overpriced and mediocre theme park. Despite(or perhaps due to) its location in Disneyland, Village Haus Restaurant succumbs to those same failings. Here, you’ll find your typical selection of burgers and pizzas — similar to what you’d find at the Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland minus the Star Wars branding — for around $ 8 – 12. Each meal comes with a side of french fries or apple slices. Drinks are an additional $ 2 – 4. As with all Disneyland restaurants, there is an allergy menu available for patrons. Simply ask the friendly greeter/menu distributor or cashier for one. The allergy menu(picture attached) suggested that most things could be modified to accommodate for common allergies, but don’t expect yourself to be wowed by the food. My classic burger had more in common with a whopper than an umami burger, but maybe that’s what happens when your burger is stripped of sauce and cheese. It wasn’t bad per se, but not worth $ 9. Nevertheless, I appreciated the service we received with regards to my allergy: the cashier was knowledgeable and the pick-up window staff was helpful. What was problematic was that they didn’t have anyone manning the allergy-friendly grill, so I ended up waiting 10 – 15 minutes longer than the people behind us in line. Good intentions; poor execution. Seating is limited both inside and outside. I gravitated towards the outside seats, as I find the inside dark and dreary in spite of the massive amounts of(faux?) wood paneling that should lend warmth to the dining area.

Not my first choice to eat at Disneyland but it’s a decent place to eat. Type of restaurant where you order food with a cashier, then wait in another line to pick up your food. Came here on a weekday during dinner time and there were plenty of open tables/chairs. They keep the dining area clean and condiments are stocked frequently. Very selected menu… sandwiches, pizza, or burgers. I ordered the angus cheeseburger and fries for $ 10. Overpriced obviously but what can you expect from Disneyland? The burger is okay but nothing special… good size but dry so be sure to pick up some ketchup & mayo packets! The fries are pretty good… but how can you mess that up? The service is just okay… Like I said, not my favorite place to eat at disneyland since they don’t offer anything special but it gets the job done if you’re craving burgers.

Worse restaurant I have ever been. They have only 5 items on their menu and they are not even making them right. $ 11 a burger, bread not toasted, cheese cold, meat cold. Horrible fries. We also got 3 pepperoni pizza, all juicy and not good. This is a shame. Too expensive and disgusting…

I question my Disneyland food choices some times. I came here and ended up having a kid’s meal because I just wanted a small snack. Ended up with a cheese pizza and fries, and honestly, it tasted like it came out of a frozen box and was heated up(though it might not be). It was like cafeteria food at best, not really my cup of tea. I will have to keep exploring and hopefully find more edible options at Disneyland.

This place is alright for what it is, but does have a few gems to it. Good for a quick bite in the Fantasyland area. Try the Blue Monstro Frozen Lemonade, exclusive to this location. It’s so so good.

The pastrami cheeseburger, BLT flatbread, and grilled chicken sandwich are my top three choices for this restaurant! For vegan options, try the garden vegetable burger with no sauce and no cheese(you can eat the bread because it’s got no dairy in it!) as a lettuce wrap or the apple & cheddar salad with no cheddar cheese and Italian dressing substituted for the honey yogurt dressing.

Seating is an issue. Even at off-peak times, it can be a challenge finding a place to sit in this restaurant, so much so that I found myself taking my tray & sitting on the ground in Frontierland. Quite pathetic, I know, but you do what you do when your stomach demands doing. I had the chicken sausage on a pretzel roll, because Germans love their pretzels & for some reason, a restaurant themed with Pinocchio is hawking German food. It was good for quick service food, but then again, I wound up sitting in dirt.

Crowded, cafeteria-like feel, and pricey(like most things in Disney). I didn’t eat anything in here just to make that clear, so I can’t comment about the food at all. I only came in here for the large«refill» cups for some lemonade, since I couldn’t find anywhere else directly in the immediate vicinity to purchase. The lines were there of course and there’s not so much room at the registers and then at the area to wait for your order. Even though I got drinks only, I had to wait quite a bit with others who ordered food. The tables inside were full and it was crowded and noisy. I didn’t care for the décor much and it’s not my type of place. If I had to eat at Disney, it wouldn’t be here. I only glanced at the menu and it looked standard theme park enough as far as pricing. I had wrote up a list of eateries inside the park weeks before I came into the park and this never made the cut. But to each their own. So there it is — not much to really say about it.

Everything here is so-so. It’s your typical amusement park fare: overpriced food, mediocre flavors. I ordered the vegetarian burger, but the rest of my crew ordered pizza and the pastrami cheeseburger. Since I did not partake in the pastrami cheeseburger, I cannot comment on it. However, I can say that the vegetarian burger was a let down. The bread was dry, the patty a mushy texture and the«sauce» was just thousand island dressing and was slathered on the bottom of the bun a little too generously. Halfway through my burger, I ended up tossing the bun, and using the ample amount of iceberg lettuce to make myself a protein style-type burger. The pizza was just all right. It’s filling, but that’s about it. Village Haus is a good place to come for QUICK food, but don’t expect your tastebuds to be wowed. For the same amount I spent here, I would rather go to the Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland.

There are some places, inside and outside of Disneyland, that you can just look at and have a pretty good idea what you can expect in the way of taste. No table service, cafeteria style food, everything feels precooked and kept warm under lamps, there are places like this all over the park and chances are you’ve eaten at one of them before. Still, looking at the menu, you have a bit more hope than typical. Pastrami Cheeseburgers, Chicken Pretzel Rolls, supposed Aioli on a few things, they all sound salty and delicious. And they do help, but the underlying problems of mass production and dryness brought on from sitting around in heated bins until they’re purchased remains. It’s not disgusting or gross, but it is a level set below the average, tinged because of disappointment. Sure, you can squirt on packets of mayonnaise and ketchup, but then you turn something dry and warm into something soggy and cold. The fries are good, though. And you shouldn’t stay away just because it’s subpar. As far as the cheaper places at Disneyland go, it’s not horrific. You pay around that $ 10 price point and can walk away filled up and ready to continue your adventure in the Magic Kingdom. But, go in knowing what the food is, enjoy the cool out of the sun, and you won’t go too far wrong. — — — - And for the Disneyland Reviews List: Taste — Or the Overall Flavor: * *(and a half) As noted, it’s cafeteria style food. But the sauces and selection make up for it slightly. Yes, it’s dry and quickly stales in the open air, but it feels like they try slightly more here at the Village Haus than other typical burger places in the park. Convenience — Of the Seating & Service Options: * * * * It’s large on the inside, offering a healthy amount of seating out of the sun. And that is matched by an equally large outer patio with plenty of tables for most. However, Fantasyland is one of the more popular areas of the park and the droves of people coming here are families, typically with younger children. This means that the Village Haus can fill up, making a hot and crowded day at the park frustrating. But, any other time when the park is less than 80% full and this is a welcome haven. Honestly, I think I’ve come here more often just to sit with food from home than actually buy stuff to eat. Value — Will you walk away satisfied?: * *(and a half) Every place in Disneyland is relatively over priced; the trick is to find food that will make you not want a snack two hours later, despite what you pay. Typically, paying around $ 10 per person is what you should expect, but still have a filling meal. Village Haus walks that fine line between a decent amount of food and a decent price. Yes, you’ll get enough to fill you up, but you may jump over that $ 10 price point that marks the boundary of a good value. A Kid’s Meal here gives you a better break, but that may not satisfy groups of hungry adults who don’t want to split something. Kid Factor — Is there entertainment for the young ones?: * * * * There was a time you’d see Anna and Queen Elsa walking through every once in a while, but that stopped when the Frozen pavilion opened up at California Adventure. Still, if you sit outside you get a great view of the bulk of Fantasyland. This means listening to the Carousel, watching the Casey Jr. Train run by, enjoy the flying elephants of Dumbo, and, best of all, getting a glimpse of a cast member wander by from time to time. I don’t think i’ve ever come and not seen Peter Pan, Hook, or a random Disney Princess stride by with excited kids in tow.

This place has been for years. So many years that I remember eating here when I was a kid! Village Haus Restaurant, if I remember right, would be my family’s go to place when visiting Disneyland. But let’s be real: it’s not that great. They sell burgers, sandwiches– you know, the usual overpriced Disneyland stuff. On my recent visit, I had their BLT flatbread, which I don’t remember ever seeing on the menu before. Cheese, bacon, tomato and an arugula-fennel salad. It was pretty decent. But price-wise, not the business. That and their chicken sandwich are among the«different» items on the menu. Otherwise, if you’re more of a general burger person, then this place is for you.

Disneyland food! Three overall stars? A bit harsh: T I mean, it’s not what you’ll get at the Plaza Inn(Which by the way their cob salad and fried chicken are delicious), but for $ 12(before annual pass discount) a pastrami burger with fries and a drink ain’t too shabby; especially at a theme park. The portion was generous and the whole cafeteria-style food never bothered me. It’s wayyyy better than fast food, I’ll tell ya that. The patty lacked a little flavor, but the pastrami made up for that. Bun was nice and soft Veggie fix-ins were fresh and crispy Fries were a bit cold, but no big deal What they also have: Burgers Pizza Salads
