UPS Customer Service Center

They had a package of mine at this location but when I showed up, they couldn’t find it and said they would call me when they did and after four days I ended up calling them. The guy that answered the phone very quickly said «can you hold, thanks,» and put me on hold. I waited for about 10 minutes before I hung up and called back but he just did the same thing again. I only live about 5 min away so I drove there while on hold and found they guy chatting with another employee about 3 feet from a phone which I am still on hold on. This place sucks. Don’t go there.

I cannot give less stars.
Brian at customer service (on-​site) said that the 800 number people are incompetent and he does not even know what country they are from. He also said that they cannot get anything right and don’t even work for UPS. They complain all the time that they are stupid and have no idea what they are talking about but no one higher up cares. I asked if I could help him by talking to a supervisor on-​site and he said… they are not here.
By the way… They cannot find my package until someone stumbles across it and hopefully scans it, because there are hundreds of thousands of packages back there.
Tell him I said hi when you come across him in line.
I long for the USPS.

Received 2 postcards at my business to pick up packages on January 31. Drove over to get them. UPS was closed (mid day, New Year’s Eve). Was told to come back Saturday. Trip #2 on Saturday:
ONE person working with over 25 people in line. REALLY?! This is why we use other shipping services. I’ve now been here twice and cannot get the packages.
And guess what? Postcards say if I don’t pick up by Monday, they’ll be returned to sender.

This place sucks! I got an email saying I could pick up my package on Thursday. They posted being closed Friday for New Years but open on New Year’s Eve. Well borrowed a truck and missed appointments and discover they were closed. Came today and I literally count 27 people in line with one service person. Get your act together UPS!!! I’ve been here 30 minutes and one person exited the line. Using Fed Ex from now on!!!

Wow with the Christmas holidays around I was really impressed with how fast the service was when I came in to pick up my package. the parking was a little hard to find sings reads employees only but the guard said I could park in the first section so ok

I meant to write this review months ago but I forgot. I missed a package shipped to my place and I called the number to ask for pickup. I read all the reviews and was worried about the horrible procedure to come. Anyways I came 30 mins early, was first in line, and when the doors opened I was the first person to get my package. All they needed was name and street. So my experience was great! Less than 2 mins from when the door opened I was good.

I feel bad if your package is being delivered from this location. They don’t care if you paid extra for your package to get delivered by a certain date and are lazy about their job. I was expecting something by TODAY and even though I have packages left at my house all the time, they felt that since no one was home they couldn’t leave it. EVEN THOUGH I SPECIFICALLY SPECIFIED PACKAGES CAN BE LEFT AT MY HOUSE

these lazy drivers don’t even bother knocking on your door. they just leave a «sorry we missed you» sticker for you to come pick up your package at the shipping center.

Long story short, my package got delivered to an «access point» instead of my house, due to no one being able to answer. When in reality I didn’t get a knock on the door or any kind of notification that the delivery guy was at my house when I was assured by an employee by the name of Veronica that we had nothing to worry about.
Customer Service isn’t the issue here, Veronica and Ray, along with a skinny bearded fellow, were actually really nice and understanding along with providing details on our situation.
I’d say its the lack of communication. All this confusion and frustration could have been avoided if we were all on the same page like I was trying to accomplish the day I was there (Saturday: 11/​14/​2015) but obviously some of the information went in one ear and out the other. No worries things happen, lesson learned.

I have a history with these morons.
The incompetence of the people who work there is almost baffling. Sure, it’s douchey to say you don’t need an education to work at UPS, but here, they go above and beyond. It’s surprising how many people wear the same uniform, and yet not a single person there can ever help you.
Your package is either in transit when you’re there to pick it up, or at the location when you’re waiting for it at home. When shipping and customer service are in your name — you would expect maybe a minimalist approach to either. But here, we do not abide by the rules of customer service.
I’m a history buff too. You know, it’s tough to recreate history though. It’s tough to sit back, and wonder how hard it was for people back in the early days, back before we were as sophisticated as we are today. But you know, this UPS location has done wonders.
So thank you UPS, for recreating what it was like to be black in the 1940s. Or Jewish during the Holocaust — I applaud you for the history lesson.

Was following my tracking everyday so I would make sure I would be at home for the delivery man so I could sign for my package. Finally the delivery guy came to my door rang the doorbell, and threw my package in the porch and ran off in a very suspicious manner. I go outside to retrieve my package (Which I was supposed to sign for) and there it is, with a giant gash in my packaging, taped over. I open my package expecting my item to be inside, and the box was cut open with his grimy fingerprints all over it and nothing but any empty box left inside.
I hope my phone was worth your job because I filed a claim with the driver who stole my package. I even saw him run off after ringing the doorbell, after getting to the door within 15 seconds, I saw him throw my package in the porch and point over there while he jetted off.

I had a package delivered to my house when i wasnt there, so they left a notice on my door that they will attempt to deliver it again on monday but i needed it by saturday. So i call & they tell me to pick it up in anaheim. So i drive 20 mins out of my way & they tell me that it’s locked up & they don’t have the man power to get it today. Wow! really? Why didn’t they tell me that over the phone instead of wasting my time like it or better yet drop it at the nearest UPS store. They truly make shipping a nightmare.

I was expecting a package of butterflies cocoons last Spring.
It was a two day delivery. I called the telephone number for customer service since it was an real hot day I grew concerned. You do know what happens to children and dogs if you leave them in the car, and the UPS trucks have no air conditioning plus they are dark brown that easily absorb heat and turn into «Ovens on Wheels». So they are late, it is the third day on a 2^nd day air delivery and I call the customer service. The lady on the phone tells me everything will be fine that the delivery person is reliable. I then asked her are you a «Onshore» customer service, she says «no», «I am in India». Basically she was unable to help me, she just repeated her lines she was trained to do.
I then try the online chat, they too were useless but with one comment «You should have used next day air instead of 2^nd day air», This comment was ludicrous especially when they provide this service to all customers. I was home all day the day before and home all day of the third day. The online chat stated that they attempted to deliver package earlier but nobody was home. Whats up with these lier drivers!!! I had my recliner facing the window and did not nap! The lazy driver was not truthful and probably uses that excuse because she went to along lunch… Then to tell me 2^nd day air is not reliable, that is the only truth!
I was dumbfounded on the rehearsed company illogical logic! Now if they provided next day air at the same cost of 2^nd day then I would, this would mean over 140 dollars for next day air. And while we on on the topic of 2^nd and next day air does it mean next day air is really 2^nd day since they are one day late on my 2^nd day (three). Such is UPS illogical logic! Online chat is useless.
I am trying to locate my butterfly cocoons so I finally get a hold of a rep from Anaheim, and you know what, she has the same spiel as the online customer assistance along with the same comments, «you should have got the next day service», 2^nd day is unreliable. I replied «then why does your company offer it if it is so unreliable»? and I hang up, just tired of the baloney.
Then around twenty minutes later I get a call from a filipino dude, Mr Ortiz, he started harassing me on the phone with the same verbiage about how unreliable 2^nd day air is and that the driver just came in and will finally deliver the package, he said the cocoons were destroyed because they were in the van all day. The delivery will be around 11PM it was 5PM.
7:30 rolls around then who shows up, the stinkin driver from UPS!
I go to the truck and this skinny tatted up woMAN tells me her route is in Santa Ana and I normally delivers in that city and Anaheim is not her usual route. I open the box of cocoons and they explode from the heat, they all died, I ask doesn’t the company deliver critters first so they will not die, is it their protocol to handle animals in a neglectful or careless manner. She showed us the computer module with all the entries, she says «see, they do not show that their are animals or of a priority delivery «I asked «but don’t you look at your deliveries before you leave, take physical inventory of what will be delivered especially 2^nd day air» she says «the company packs everything together, I have no clue what is being mailed, I just do my job delivering parcels and beside you should have used next day air instead of second day air», AGAIN the same old spiel well rehearsed! I told her she was a killer of creatures and it was her responsibility even though it does not say on the computer, that she could have made the effort to see if there were any live critters on her van. (Common sense?)
I get a call 40 minutes later from Mr. Ortiz and he was livid??? He said I yelled at the delivery girl! I told him it was bullsh*t then he hung up.
30 minutes later he shows up on my doorstep with his white car and the delivery girl, and tries to bully me that I am the bad one for calling her names, that I should have used next day air instead of 2^nd day.
I ask Mr. Ortiz, «then why does the company advertise they provide good 2^nd day service»?
He could not answer.
Now I am thinking to myself, Is this his lover? He is acting as if it was his personal vendetta, a company UPS man driving to my house in his personal vehicle trying to bully me? it was weird!
Quite possibly he thinks this is the Philippines, they usually strong arm people, you can bully or have people disappear at a drop of a hat.
I just wanted my butterflies alive in two days not three, I wanted them alive not dead and boiled.
Then as this Ortiz nimrod leaves my door he states «we will never deliver here ever again, I’ll see to it»!
I said that’s okay I love the Postal service, they have always been honest and provide real 2^nd day air.
I did finally get more butterflies and the USPS was on time and my cocoons were alive!

I have always known UPS drivers drive intensely, they are usually impatient drivers (not with me, an observation).I was expecting a delivery to my home recently purchased the new KARMA wifi. I had my door open waiting patiently and my steel screen door was shut, I could see out but nobody can see in. 4:30pm rolls around, my recliner facing the door, I saw the driver stop around 10 feet from my door and I saw him throw the package hard against my steel screen door and it fell hard on the concrete. I was disgusted but not surprised and startled the guy by saying ««real cool dude I saw what you did, Did you have to throw my package like that?, «they are computer components and it says fragile, you really suck» he replies «I didn’t see you». Such are the nimrods of UPS, they will only deliver properly only when they are being watched.
I was not pleased, I did not yell, just shook my head. I hope they lose more customers for their insolence!

A little hard to find if you’re not familiar with the area, but well worth it once you do. You know how UPS drivers are always so nice? This is their homeland, where all the amazing, customer-​service-​centric, folks gather. I don’t think there are enough kind words to describe these awesome people. Every time I’ve been here, everyone has been so helpful. From the time you walk in, they do everything they can to make sure that your package gets where in needs to go and will be in great condition when it gets there. Need a label? Super easy computers ready for you to use. And if it’s not quite super easy, they’re happy to help you out. Box not in the best condition? They’ll find you a better one. Contents not securely packed? They can fix that. Forget packing tape? They don’t even flinch — and they won’t charge you extra for any of this. Try getting that kind of service from the USPS… I dare you.

This is long, so be warned.
I missed a delivery today because I had class. Upon looking up tracking information I found out I was actually home and they didn’t bother to knock or ring my doorbell. So I called the main number at 1:56pm and requested to pick up my package. The guy was obviously reading a script on a teleprompter and didn’t posess the capacity for critical thinking. Anyway I waited an hour (as instructed) but no one bothered to call me.
So at 2:56pm I called back. They resent the request for the status of my package. I really only needed an ETA for when I should drive to the warehouse. After 15 minutes of paraphrasing the guy would only tell me they were trying to get a hold of him electronically (so no radio?) And he was ignoring his messages. When I asked why the only answer I got was that they have a large volume of packages. I pointed out the obvious fact that they are constantly handling their devices for signatures and whatnot so it isn’t like he just «missed» the message. Anyway I was told to call back in half an hour, which will be in 7 minutes.
Okay I called again at 3:30pm. The same guy answered and read the same script without listening to me. He spoke over me and was generally a dick. I requested that he put in the request a third time and he said I would get a call back within the hour blah blah blah. So I requested to speak with his supervisor.
The supervisor comes on the line and reads another similar script with emphasis on «keep waiting.» I have a life outside my apartment. Not that they care. He repeated himself twice and I asked if he could contact the facility for me since the listed number doesn’t accept incoming calls from customers who have paid for their services. First he said he wanted to call me back and I’m like HELLNO I’m not going to be hung up on. So he put me on hold for 10 minutes or so.
The answer I got was that my package will be ready for delivery *by* 8pm. Meaning it could show up at any time before then and they aren’t obligated to be more specific (like between 4 and 5 or something). Which means the plans I had for dinner tonight have to be cancelled.
4:03 PM I was at the store doing my errands and I got a call from (714) 999‑6200 — UPS. The lady said I’d have to come between 8 and 8:30 PM. I asked if I could come sooner and she said the drivers come back late. I took that to mean that was the end of their shift. I asked if I could come sooner and she said they close at 7 PM and reopen at 8 PM. Okay…
I was in the area around 6:45 PM (that life I mentioned earlier) so I stopped by. I provided my tracking number and the lady looked it up. The driver hadn’t been back. She even said he had 10 more deliveries and he’ll be back by 8 PM. Seems that number is pretty absolute around here. I’ll be waiting in my car.
At 7:55 PM I got out of my car to find several people in line outside the door. Upon taking my place in said line several more people appeared behind me. At 8:00 PM the lights were still off and still more people were lining up. The loading bay is literally right behind us, and I can hear equipment being operated. So *someone* is inside, but no one wants to work the desk.
Doors open at 8:02 PM. I counted 23 people in line (and counting). There is only one person at the counter even though they have 3 other moniters set up. There is only one entrance/​exit, so the crown has to constantly adjust as people move in and out with hand trucks and carts and such. In total there are two employees working. One for pickups and another for drop offs. Neither are anywhere close to expidicious. The line at the post office moves faster than this.
The lady at the desk remembered me from an hour ago and had my stuff waiting for me. Very cool and unexpected. Once at the desk it only took a few minutes to get out. But getting (back) up to the desk wasn’t fun. The actual wait overall (with the line outside waiting for the store to open) was probably around 10 minutes. Amazing since there’s almost no one at the front end.
In the end I give a neutral review. The service was decent but the experience wasn’t. Not being able to call the place directly is a factor. Minus one star for that. And seriously shitty hours takes another star. 3 stars is about right.

So unfortunately UPS misplaced a package that I was expecting (I was to pick it up from here). You may be wondering why I’m giving my review 5 stars, well let me explain. It’s only because of an employee named John. He spent 20 – 25 minutes looking for my package, when he couldn’t find it, he apologized took my information and told me that he would get the bottom of it. He called me a few hours later to keep me updated. UPS found it the same night and John emailed me in the morning (following day). I understand that a mistake can happen, but a customer’s reaction is dependent on the employee dealing with them. Fortunately I dealt with John and this mistake was easy to look past and my experience was pleasant. I picked up my package earlier and was in an out within one minute.

I was in in out in a few minutes its pretty efficient if your in the vicinity of the area but I’m sure the majority of people who come here are only here to pick up their package because of various shipping reasons.
Overall UPS has always been good to me and my packages I’d always rather ship with them those other X people!

Been here several times to pick up packages that required signature when I wasn’t able to sign at home. Located in the industrial area of Anaheim but near Disneyland. It’s one of UPS’s distribution facilities for Orange County.
Customer service is pretty much the same as you’d expect from a UPS driver. Nothing unusual here. They grab your package, confirm ID, sign, and then you’re on your way. There’s plenty of customer parking. Pretty seamless operation.

So your expecting a package and for some reason your fierce gaurd dog didnt bark when your local UPS driver was knocking on the door delivering your package. Mine barks at anyone who knocks on the door, and since the beast works from home there is no reason to miss a package. But he went outside and opened the door and find the sorry we missed you note. So you call the number and they tell you that you can pick up your package between 8:00 and 8:30pm, along with 100 other people. You would think your were in line for an ipone, but no, its everyone picking up their goods. If you dont call it in, your name wont be on the list. See if they know your coming, the driver can pull the package for you so it wont get recycled for the next day. Lots of angry people dont realize that.
So heres your 411 you need to know when you come here. You need to know the street you live on and the city. Once you tell them that they will ask your name. Please please know your city and street. If you dont know these things then dont bother coming. And bring your id card.
Arrive at here at 7:30ish, dont be on time or you will be the 50^th person in line. When the clock strikes 8:00pm they secretly let you in 2 by 2. It goes pretty fast. All the packages that are expecting you are waiting up front. There are 2 or 3 very patient and helpful people pulling packages and checking their lists and the rent a cop letting people in. Most of what people picking up tonight were phones. Sadly our driver was running late, he didnt get back till about 8:45pm so we had to wait in the lobby for about 45 minutes for him to get back to the distribution center with our package.
The lobby is air conditioned and has a few carts you can use to tow your goods back to the car. Be sure to watch out for people driving in the parking lot. Its very dark and you dont want to get run over.
