I’m very disappointed in the NO service received by Union Auto Service in Anaheim. I was there about 2 hours before they even looked at my car. I said «can I get an update to what’s going on with my car». One of the guys said let me give you an estimate, and show you what was the problem. He then punch some numbers and came up with 2,000 worth of work. Lol i said let me pay this $ 90 for an estimate and got the hell out of here. Oh but I did receive a complimentary pen. (for $ 90 dollars). Keep driving don’t stop here, unless you need a pen.

Late post! I started taking my car here for smog checks. I did it yearly for my DMV renewal great service. Now my whole family takes their cars there for any kind of repairs. They do such an excellent service, they are good in any kind of repairs makes or models, excellent prices, they have discount coupons, aaa discounts, the staff are courteous and want you to leave their happy with the service you received.

I’ve been getting my car serviced here for the past few of years and I’ve never had a problem with them. The prices may seem a little steep, but you will get quality work. The repairs that my car received were MAJOR (it’s an old car). Mechanical issues are expensive, but if you settle for cheap work, you’re probably going to end up paying a little more, plus frustration for cheap stuff. I’d rather get it done right the first time. I always leave this place with confidence that my car received the quality work it needs. I won’t go anywhere else.

Worst customer service, VERY VERY high prices, and the owner tried to rip me off. do not take your car here. they will lie to you and cheat you out of your money. read the reviews below, i am not the only one, see for yourself. they think people are stupid or something and try to take advantage of them. go ANYWHERE else but here!

So, not too long ago, I was giving them second chance. I took my other car to get the obd2 reading. And you know what they said? Charge $ 90 or so for just get the code reading. LOL!!! Ridiculous!!!
So I went to pepboys to get reading and it was FREE!!!

RIP OFF STATION! ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!
He wanted to charge me $ 500 to do a diagnostic check. I told him it was most likely the fuse and refused the service. The car was already there so I let it sit for a bit wondering where I was going to come up with the money. A few hours later he calls and says, «We found the problem, it was your fuse and you can pick up the car for $ 150 but come get it right away, I need the room.» First of all $ 150 is outrageous for a fuse!!, secondly he was sticking to his guns about $ 400 till he needed the space. I’m here again today as I needed the AAA free 40 point check & it was the only place that had an opening. (Gee, I wonder why???) I get here and yes the battery is in the back but it’s still part of a 40 point check. They won’t do it. I’m not pushing the issue because he would either charge for it or screw something up on purpose just to charge me. These guys are a bunch of crooks and I’ll be calling AAA next!
Don’t go here unless you have deep pockets!

I took my corvette here because of a oil leak. I was told from united Auto Service it was my rear main seal of my engine and the transmission was going to have to be dropped. I was quoted $ 982.00 to do the job. I called 2 other places because of the diagnosis and they told me the job would be approx $ 600.00. I told United Auto that I was taking my car back after paying $ 90.00 diagnostic fee!!! When I got my car they started negotiating with me. we got to $ 750.00. I decided to take my car back. I took it to a Ottomatic transmission in Anaheim. They dropped my transmission and told me that it was not my my main seal but a transmission pump seal. There was also an issue with the torque converter. I personally seen the parts damaged. If I paid United auto service the $ 982.00 the problem would not be fixed and I would still have a oil leak. They dont know what they are doing and are CROOKS. DONT GO TO THEM!!!

Great place, great people; Nothing ruins a Disneyland weekend like a car break down, yet these guys make it seem so simple. They found the problem quickly and the cost was very reasonable, actually less than Repairpal.com’s low price for a fuel pump replacement, which I thought was great. They finished my car on time for me to head back home and gave me a nationwide warranty which is good because I live miles away. Staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. The waiting room is a little small but smells like coffee, with the rain outside and TV inside, I couldn’t help but help myself to a «couple» of coffees. Too bad there isn’t a Union Auto in my Los Angeles area. Highly recommend to everyone.

Complete poor service. Brought my car due to flat tire and I also wanted an oil change. The tire was fixed but you could see how they plugged the hole with such an amateur job. TPMS light was keep blinking afterward and the guy wanted to charge me $ 90 to run diagnostic test. Huh? Everywhere else is free. And he said he doesn’t know what’s going on. They didn’t even bother checking the tire pressures from other tires. I wanted to have good vibe with this shop since its very close to my place. But now I know how shady/​crooked this shop is. My first and my last. If there’s such zero star this will be the first. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE.

I brought my mom’s car in for a check engine light, they checked it out and gave me an estimate, I used their check-​in coupon and that was cool, I’ll find out with my mom what she wants to do cause she works as a nurse and her hours are crazy. So we’ll see. But their process was good, the place is clean and their TV display by the counter is informative, and there are American flags all over. I like the techy stuff where they give you reports and information and explain stuff to you when they go through the estimate with, not just a price and sign here.

Shady. I’ve been reading the Reviews and I agree with the latest ones, except for the «friendly» part. They didn’t even say hi when I walked in more-​less looked me up and down to size me up, I felt like like I was inconveniencing them. Overall, FALSE ADVERTISING and SIGNS in front of their shop! I came in for a smog test and it said pass or retest for free. What they don’t tell you is that if «they» fix it then it’s free, not including a $ 90 «diagnostic»! Otherwise, you’d have to spend another $ 60 if you had your own trustworthy mechanic to repair the issue and bring it back to them, a total of $ 120 for a smog! Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere and save your hard earned money!

Took my car here cause I broke down on the freeway close to the shop. They said that I had 3 sensors broken and for the parts and labor and a reset on my computer that it was gonna cost me $ 700 plus the $ 90 for the diagnostics test. I freaked out and called my mechanic in my home town and he freaked out and said I was being ripped off. I tow it home and my mechanic fixed it for less than $ 300!!! The guy at Union said that there was no way no way that it couldn’t be 700. He tried to rip me off for close to $ 400…I made sure to call the better automotive business bureau and report this shop at the advice of myn own mechanic. Plus he made me pay the $ 90 to get my keys back.

I must say I am impressed with this service center!
After having some starting issues with my 2008 Mercedes GL550 and two other previous mechanics giving me conflicting information, I decided to try out Union Auto to get a third diagnosis and low and behold, they figured out the problem almost immediately. It turned out to be my starter. Louie got it changed within an hour and I was on my way.
I haven’t had a SINGLE starting problem since.
Thank you UNION AUTO! I highly recommend you guys!

Since taking my car I have recommended this place to several others who work in the area. This place will even give you a ride to work if your car needs major repairs. My good friend took her car there and told me about it. How convenient! I can’t believe all the poor reviews here as they do not do this place justice. If you can fix your own car why do you take your car to an auto shop and then complain about how you could have done it yourself cheaper? Of course you can! For the rest of us there’s. auto repair shops and great people like Louie. They are AAA approved and very friendly. Don’t think twice!

–came here to get an oil change i had a coupon for a normal oil change $ 22 total the work took about 30+ min
–customer service is good the girl at the counter help me. out with a smile and fast
–waiting room is nice small but nice and very cool knowing its hot outside there was a fan here so i didnt worry about being hot i turned it on and i was happy.
–work shop was VERY clean and VERY organized
–the waiting room had a big window so u can see when the mechanics are working on ur car this was a big plus for me
all in all i was expecting to tell me my car needs this and needs that but no nothing like that.

These guys are scamsters of the first order. I went here, unfortunately, because my car broke down and AAA took me here. I suspected that it was my radiator hose, because there was a rip in it.
I arrived, and they did not do anything for at least an hour, although they were not busy at all. Then the guy comes to me and gives a quote for $ 700!, saying that they need to replace the hoses, radiator and thermostat. For this «evaluation» they charged me $ 90.
I called my regular mechanic, who is quite far, and he told me that they were just trying to rip me off.
I went back, and they dropped the price to $ 300, claiming that I did not need a radiator at all — so why did they advise me to put a new one in?
I took my car away and had it towed to my trustworthy mechanic, and it cost $ 50, not $ 300!
Please stay away from these crooks. I have complained to the AAA, and will also do so to the Better Business Bureau.

Lets just get to the point, DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE.
Had my car worked on yesterday to get my battery cleaned and transmission fluid changed, and now my system subs/​amp are messed up. They were trying to say that it wasn’t their fault and they didn’t touch that and I was the one who broke it myself. So basically, it was working fine before I dropped it off, and when I picked it up it wasn’t working. Yet, it’s my fault.
Went back today to cause a scene and still they are trying to blame it on me. They won’t offer to pay for any expenses if I need to get anything replaced and refused to take responsibility.
This place is going to be run down to the ground with such shitty management and service. No one cares about anything, they’re all rude with unhappy looking faces, I’m not sure why anyone would want to go to this place.
I’m never coming back here, EVER.
