Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood! The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh (
) is located next to the Hungry Bear Restaurant and adjacent to Splash Mountain in Critter Country.
In 1977, Walt Disney Productions and Buena Vista Distribution released The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, the 22^nd animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. The animated feature was based upon the Winnie the Pooh books by A. A. Milne and was the consolidation of three featurettes: Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree, Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day and Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too. Extra material was added to the three featurettes turning them into one seamless movie. Sadly, the series of books end with The House at Pooh Corner with Christopher Robin leaving the Hundred Acre Wood being and heading off to school.

Fortunately for us, Disney has built this attraction, so we can revisit the Hundred Acre Woods whenever we desire.
With most attractions in Disneyland parks, the delightfulness of the rides are in the details and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is no exception. Walking through the line you will see Rabbit has stopped harvesting (
) carrots for the day and the home of Owl located in the treetop:

When it is your turn to take a ride through the Hundred Acre Wood, you are loaded into a six-​seat bee hive (
) and sent on your way.
The ride starts out with scenes from Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day (
) with Pooh getting blown to Owl’s House before returning home to meet Tigger who tells him to beware of Heffalumps and Woozles who live in the forest and steal honey. Next Pooh has a dream about Heffalumps and Woozles (
) trying to steal his honey and finally awakes to find his home and the Hundred Acre Woods being flooded.
The next scene is from Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree which has poor Pooh eating all of the honey in Rabbit’s house and getting stuck in the door while trying to leave. The ride ends with the gang celebrating the birthday of the loveable old Pooh Bear.
The ride is about 3 minutes long and there are no high speeds or drops as it designed for kids of all ages. The imagineers did an excellent job bringing the Hundred Acre Woods to life and you will see and hear the voices Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Kanga and Roo, Owl, Gopher and Rabbit!
As is the tradition with all Disney attractions, there is a souvenir shop (
) waiting at the end of the ride. This one is slightly different than most, since it also includes a number of your favorite Disney treats. I would recommend getting your sweets on Main Street since the cast members here confirmed some of the treats are exactly the freshest.
This a wonderful ride for younger children or adults who are looking for a break from the hectic crowds at Disneyland!

This is one of the more relaxing rides at Disneyland. I really like this ride for that reason and that reason only. Well, actually Pooh always did make me laugh with his rumbly tummy, his jolliness for honey and his denseness. The ride is pretty solid though it doesn’t last quite long.
Its kind of a trippy ride. There are so many colors and things going on, one right after another. The ride is calming and there aren’t any jolts and bumps along the way so that works for me. Its a perfect ride to catch a breath from all the heavy hitting rides such as Space Mountain and Matterhorn. Once you exit Pooh and Tigger are usually waiting on the outside with a huge line for you to get that photo op. I really wanted that pic with Pooh but sadly that wait was unbearable (get it).
Overall this ride is one meant more for kids. Its soothing and very slow paced. Truth be told, this ride just gave me a good opportunity to check up on my phone and see what was happening on the outside world lol. I’d return again when I’m at Disney.

A very cute, short ride, but honestly it might scare some children. At one part of the ride it goes almost completely black, and loud music played, and a few kids sitting behind us were scared.

«There was Poo[h] on the saddle, and Poo[h] all around… and a great big puddle, of Poo[h] on the ground!».
An awesome attraction that made me smile has been replaced by corporate avarice, souless suits, and the overall desecration of Uncle Walt’s and Marc Davis’ lagacies.
This ride is lame.
A cynical wait past shops pushing Poo[h] merchandise, and then climbing into a giant, 3 row, carved out turd, to slog around slowly past wobbly, overly brightly painted wooden flats and through a non linear, phoned in storyline, and under a doorway that holds the mounted heads Max, Buff, and Melvin of the Country Bear Jamboree, as either a solemn nod to the past, or a middle finger to the Disney and CBJ fans who remember when the Disney ideology was about being creative, honest, and unique rather than making money, contributing to the zeitgheist, and acquiring the rights to successful entertainment franchises.
They took out Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride at WDW on Florida to also make room for this stupid ride. Yes, A.A. Milne made both Mr. Toad and Pooh, but Mr. Toad and his story are waaay better than the pointless poop of Winnie the Sh! t. Mr. Toad taught a better lesson about not constantly indulging in your mania, and about being more careful and listening to those who have your best interests in mind (in a subtle way as only the British can deliver their subtlety in the best of ways) without being preachy.
Country Bear Jamboree was funny, unique, and had something that audiences of all ages could giggle to, and clap their hands and/​or stomp their feet. It was stupid of Disney to remove it here in CA, and to truncate the one in FL., practically ruining it. The only one left in its near purest form is the Disneyland in Japan, and even show 90% of that show is in Japanese. *squeaks stuffed teddy bear*
It’s time for Disney to clean up the Poo[h], and to start returning to its roots of what it used to be about, rather than what it’s about now. Maybe some day, god willing, it might. Here’s to hoping so.

It’s pretty cool to still find a ride I haven’t been on yet (or hadn’t been on it in so many years, I had forgotten about it)! It is in Critter Country, across from where the line for Splash Mountain is.
I had been down in this area a few times, but just to the shop, more specifically, the merchandise side. I didn’t even know this ride existed, nor the candy shop! I thought it was a theater performance, for some reason. One day, I spotted the cars that looked like beehives and thought how cute it looked! I decided to see what it was like.
This is a cute little ride with a feeling that you’ve entered into an interesting nightmare! It’s all fluorescent and bright! It begins by entering the Hundred Acre Forest, where Pooh and his friends live. You see Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Roo and Kanga. Then, pretty soon, it gets quite eerie, with the introduction of some rat faces with long necks, which look similar to popped out Jack-​in-​the boxes. Tigger and friends become NEON! Even Pooh looks a little devious. But, supposedly, some odd characters are trying to steal Pooh’s hunny!
In the end, it is somehow his birthday and there is a party for him. I may have to read the little story again. But, this is worth going on again!

I’m a huge Winnie the Pooh fan and I wanted to ride this one. I made my family go on it and first I was nervous that it would just be another dumb kiddie ride but I was proven wrong. Thankfully. It was absolutely adorable.

Once upon a time there was a land called Bear Country and in this land there lived some Country Bears and various other critters. They lived there happily until September 9^th, 2001 when they were evicted by, of all critters, another bear. You know him as Pooh, but the Country Bears called him by a few other choice words.
«There was blood on the saddle, and blood all around… and a great big puddle, of blood on the ground.» — Big Al of the Country Bears singing about the eviction.
When the dust settled in 2003, Pooh had spent an estimated $ 30,000,000 on his new crib and, so that no one would ever question his power again, had the heads of three former residents (Max the deer, Melvin the moose and Buff the buffalo) mounted on one of his walls. Look up and backwards while leaving the Heffalump/​Woozle room… you must be riding in the front row of your bee hive vehicle to see the heads.
Don’t get me wrong, I like Pooh. He comes across as a very simple minded bear… but a little advice: if you ever find yourself playing a game of «Poohsticks» with Winnie… let the bear win.

The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, located really close to Splash Mountain in Critter Country, is a fun simple ride. You get to enter a honeycomb and follow the many adventures of Winnie the Pooh and his gang of Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore. Maybe you’ll see Christopher Robin too: D
This is a slow moving ride which is similar to the Roger Rabbit cross It’s a Small World. You don’t spin. You enjoy the view in your car: D
It’s really fun for nostalgia sake, and the line is around 15 – 20 minutes :)

I love this ride. I always look up for the mounted heads after the heffalumps & woozles. They are better than a hidden Mickey. I just watched the movie again on netflix just to see the dream and they really capture it in the ride. The best thing about this ride is that the line is usually quite short.

I remember as a kid watching this cartoon. For some reason, Eeyore was my favorite character. On The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, you’ll be able to see the characters before your very own eyes.
A small yet slow moving ride, it takes you across the many adventures of Winnie the Pooh. From Tigger to Eeyore to others, this ride is one that is very kid friendly. It only lasts a few minutes. The line can vary on this ride. Im going to say this one thing-you’ll feel like you’re tripping major on parts of this ride. If you have gotten high at some point, you’ll know what I mean!

I don’t know about y’all but this happens to be one of my favorite rides. Let me tell you why.
You venture through the dark and terrible lands of the Hundred Acre Forest, run by a notorious gang who call themselves the Apis mellifera (A.M.). They exert their dominance by synthesizing and distributing a powerful neurotoxic/​hallucinogenic agent that make their victims recalcitrant to themselves and highly suggestive to the will of their oppressors. A.M. has labeled it factor-​H, but the beasts of the forest widely know it as honey. Having such destructive and addictive traits, Pooh and the others are merely slaves, desperately in need of salvation. Who will save them from the terrors that reign over their lives? Who is brave enough to face the dreaded Apis mellifera and find the reversal agent to honey?
It has to be you!!! Stepping into the role of a hero is not dictated by your will, but the circumstances that calls you to be something better than yourself. In times of desperation, all you can do is be bold and allow the circumstances equip you with the means to succeed.
The reversal agent! This can only be obtained through stealth and the gathering of intelligence. You’ll operate using the Hive-​mobile, a technically advanced shuttle that will render you invisible to the eyes of the A.M., bestowing you safety within the hostile environment of the Hundred Acre Forest. The integrated stealth ability is not the only trait it is equipped with. It will also enable you to enter a dream within a dream within a dream to find the cure. With the Hive-​mobile, you’ll track down Pooh and enter the deepest confounds of his mind to extract the chemical composition of the reversal agent. Find Pooh, find the cure, save the forest, save the world.
May the will of the heffalumps and woozles be with you.

This ride is meant for kids… It’s colorful, bright, and eye catching. The animations and engineering for this ride is pretty awesome like most other Disney rides.
It’s not just entertaining for the kids! Adults, watch Winnie the Pooh dream of going from happy to scared than back to happy on this bright psychedelic scenic ride. The ride is made for kids but I don’t know, seems like Pooh might have ate out of the wrong honey jar.

This ride is super cute and never really has a long wait. I don’t think I’ve ever waited longer than 10 minutes, even on a busy day.
It’s a bit of a trek to get to this ride. It’s across from the entrance to Splash Mountain, which is in the very back of the park. For being a fairly new ride it still feels like it’s been there forever. It replaced the Country Bear Jamboree and if you look up just as you leave the Heffalump scene and enter the birthday party you can still see the heads of Max, Buff and Melvin hanging on the wall above you.
This ride is fun for really small children because it has a lot going on and bright colors everywhere to keep their attention. It’s a good ride to get on if you’re waiting for someone to get off Splash Mountain anyway.
The ride isn’t terribly long, but it’s still fun to get on for the kids and even for older people who have never been on it before. It’s nice and cool inside and it’s also a nice contrast to some of the Fantasyland rides that are a little scary for small children.

I am a big Pooh fan. Well maybe a big Eeyore fan but who is counting. I like this ride and the fact that we walked straight on to the ride about an hour before fanstasm on a holiday weekend was awesome. I recommend this ride for kid or the kid in you of all ages.
As in most of my Disney reviews I will say I like the overall layout and set up to the Pooh Ride at Disneyland better than Disneyworld.
Disneylands is better than DisneyWorlds

A fun ride for little kids 7 and under. Adults, skip. Line is usually under 10 mins, and often less than 5 and they will let you stay on the ride without getting off of it isn’t too busy.
Ride is cute, not scary at all, like some other similar rides in Disneyland, which is great for my little kids.
Only real bummer is that it is a hike over to the ride, kinda out in no mans land, past Splash Mountain.

The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh is probably the most adorable ride in the entire park. The ride is a beehive buggy that takes you throughout Pooh’s dream at a very slow, lazy, and zig-​zag pace. The atmosphere of this ride is so cheerful, colorful, and very child-​friendly. The Heffalump dream room is my absolute favorite. Although it is tucked in the back of Critter Country, this cute storybook ride is worth the trek over.
Pro-​tip: Wait is usually 5 – 10 minutes so finish the longer attractions in New Orleans Square and then a short walk over to Pooh for a quick ride.

When I had a Disney AP and was looking for a pleasant ride, once in a while, I would drag the BF on «The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh» (Pooh). Granted, it’s somewhat of a hike to get to Critter Country, but if «Pooh» was five minutes – which, on a slow Park day, it easily can be – I’d want to go on the ride. Just because it’s always a cute one to enjoy, and also because it gave me an excuse to go to Pooh Corner afterwards – one of my favorite stores in the entire Park.
My cousins and grew up watching «Winnie the Pooh» tapes, and I distinctly remember watching the four episodes that are featured in this one — the Blustery Day, the Stormy Weather, Tigger Too and Happy Birthday, Winnie the Pooh (okay, I can’t remember the exact titles of each episode, but that’s the essence of what happened in each one). The ride takes you through the highlights of each of these four episodes, but basically blends them all together into one adventure.
The ride is popular for youngsters because it’s very kid friendly — it goes at a slow pace and the honeycomb-​shaped mobiles are super cute. You can fit about four people (or more, if you have small kids) in one car, so that would account for longer lines on busy Park days (not the fastest when it comes to loading). I also like this ride because you sort of «meander» through the 100 Acre Woods — the car doesn’t just take you straight through; you go through the entire ride in a zig-​zagged line. Plus, because this is one of the newer animatronics rides, Pooh and all his friends don’t look old and faded.
«Pooh» isn’t a long ride, but it’s a fun one that I still enjoy from time to time. Here are the details from the four main episodes:
«Blustery Day»: You hear that same narrator’s voice that’s featured in any of the Pooh movies, and the ride starts off with the «Blustery Day» episode. You hear the wind whistling and can see Pooh and all of his friends struggling to hold onto all of their gear while the leaves are flying around.
«Rainy Day»: I think this is one of my favorite rooms in the entire ride. While the entire ride features a dark backdrop, you see lit-​up raindrops throughout this second scenario, so that – plus the thunder and lightning – really does make it feel like you’re in the middle of a storm. If you’re familiar with this specific episode, you see memorable scenes from the movie, like the friends all holding onto each other and using various items (umbrellas, honey pots, etc.) to stay afloat in the water. Plus, you can’t forget that memorable song from the episode («and the rain rain rain came down down down …»).
«Tigger Too»: You actually don’t see much of Tigger for the duration of this room. Instead, homage to this episode is paid mainly through Pooh’s dream of «Heffalumps and Woozles.» Those who aren’t familiar with this Pooh episode might not really get this section of the ride (you basically get the hint that Pooh’s dreaming because you see a projection of Pooh while he’s sleeping and Tigger’s voice echoing, «Heffalumps and Woozles … beware … beware …»). You then enter the most colorful room in the ride – filled with «Heffalumps and Woozles» and lots and lots of honey pots (for those who don’t know: Heffalumps and Woozles = elephants and weasels). And of course, the iconic «Heffalumps and Woozles» song plays throughout this entire segment of the ride.
«Happy Birthday»: If you didn’t get the fact that Pooh was dreaming of the Heffalumps and Woozles, you’ll get it in the last room of the ride, thanks to Piglet’s voice going, «Wake up, Pooh! It’s your birthday!» This room is really short, but you basically see all the friends at a large picnic table with party hats to celebrate Pooh’s birthday. The ride ends when you see piles of birthday gifts for Pooh … which are all honey pots, of course!
This ride is definitely a cute ride that I don’t mind going on every now and then. I basically go on it if I’m set on going to Pooh Corner and the wait time for this ride is less than 10 minutes. If you’ve never been on «Pooh» before – whether or not you have kids – it’s a fun, cute, low-​key ride to experience. Or, if you have an AP but just have never trekked out to Critter Country, this ride is worth checking out at least once.

I was sad when the ride was closed throughout our last 2-​week visit to the park (s) because my daughter had been waiting so eagerly to revisit one of her favorites.
This ride where you climb into honey pots features upbeat music, cheerful themes, and IMO, is appealing to many people of all ages. even those like me who never watched the show. It also has relatively short lines (usually around as long of a wait as Snow White).
To find this ride, head to Critter Country. It’s a bit deep into the park relative to the other storybook rides but totally worth the extra few steps.
The honeypots have 3 rows and can comfortably fit two normal sized adults per row, but the front is a bit high so you may want to have your little ones sit on your lap for a less obstructed view. (When we have another adult with us, we usually have them sit in the first row on the right side so we can sit on the left side of the the second row.)

Our small son really enjoys this ride. You are basically in a beehive buggy with two short rows. Instead of traveling smoothly through the ride, the buggy wobbles to and fro. It takes you through Winnie the Pooh’s hundred acre wood home and you follow Pooh as he has a crazy dream filled with woozles and heffalumps.
It’s not a very long ride, but the wait to this attraction is usually pretty short (I think ppl forget it’s tucked all the way back in Critter Country) so we usually make a point to hike out to Critter Country as the kiddo enjoys this ride.
Young kids and fans of Winnie the Pooh will enjoy this as it features all the Hundred Acre Wood gang.

Okay. So, I like this attraction. It’s a clever one, as the ride vehicle isn’t your standard ride vehicle — it moves more than just forward! (Oh, and I loved Winnie the Pooh and friends growing up.)
Anyway, you board this ride vehicle shaped like a honeycomb, because Winnie the Pooh loves honey — I hope you knew that. You enter the Hundred Acre Forest, and you meet everyone on a blustery day. The inside of the attraction is quite colorful, and it features classic Winnie the Pooh music.
There is no height limit for this attraction, and the wait for the queue doesn’t ever really go over fifteen minutes — except on those ridiculously busy days. It’s a bit of a walk to get to this attraction, but I think it’s worth it — especially if you have children with you.
