Nice place to have a beer but food was just ok.. Decent beer selection.

First off this place is over priced for what you get slow service. Lots of waiters standing around.

Weak Drinks Only thing good to say was that the BBQ bacon Burger, Fries and bbq sauce was tasty. The super small portion CHICKENCAPRESE — 15.95 was about 2″ x 3″ and an 1″ tall tasted ok. Service was pretty bad. The drink orders took 15 minutes each time and came with an apology each time — not too mention one order was completely wrong. I never write bad reviews but the hits just kept coming. The drinks had no liquor in them and that continued into the Honda Center where I truly believe the cocktails are SUPERWATEREDDOWN — Buyer Beware.

Went for the lakers/warriors game. Hands down the best in-venue pre game meal experience in town. Food, service, and presentation were top notch. For starters, the state of the art reservation system makes each guest feel like a vip upon check in. Food — we ordered the wedge salad, buffalo wings, carb free burger, and chicken caprese. Wedge Salad was of the quality you’d get at a fancy steak house. Best part of my meal. Buffalo wings were pretty standard. The chicken caprese was very tasty. The stuffed chicken was flavorful, and the rice pilaf with large pieces of asparagus was a compliment. The carb free burger was average, but the fries were delicious. Service — best part of our experience. Made us feel so welcome, all while pushing the dishes through quickly to finish in time for the game. Will definitely be back when entertaining clients.

Before game Sharks vs Ducks thought we would have a great dinner. They have changed their menu to a lunch menu for dinner. Not much to choose from and everything was cold! So disappointed, Back to JT Schmid’s! Linda M

Beer was a bit warm, service a bit slow… and they weren’t busy! Food is usually good though.

Had reservation for the Standing O for five before the Foo Fighters concert 9÷17÷15 Stood outside till 5:10 before they opened up once we got inside they did not have the A/C on, very hot! After about 10 minuets we finally got somebody to come to the table and take a drink order. Then again waited another 10 minutes to be told they were out of the beer we ordered so we ordered a different kind… and waited again… and then guess what, they are out of that beer also… really? The wife is getting a bit pissed so she orders a vodka tonic and I told the guy just bring me something cold! Finally got a cold beer after a half hour and the wife’s vodka tonic was vodka tap water that tasted horrible, finally got that fixed. The table water they gave us had no ice in it, and it was warm also they need to taste their water and smell it, foul smelling and tasted discussing, that’s the same water they used in the vodka drink we ordered which should have been tonic. We ordered an appetizer and food… it all comes at the same time and we don’t have plates, luckily I was sitting next to a supply cart with plates, napkins. Best part of there was one was the food it wasn’t bad. Maybe it’s better during the Ducks season who knows doubt I’ll be back.

It’s before the game seven western conference finals, Ducks Vs. Chicago Blackhawks! The restaurant is very busy and it’s about 45 minutes Waite. The restaurant has a nice ambiance! m, the bar looks good & the staff are friendly. Daily sit down outside patio with sun hitting my face & no option since it’s busy and we have to get the game. Order a Margareta pizza and Thai chicken wings, the Food was average and not worth waiting for! Probably won’t be back.

Just want to say something small nothing big but give 5 stars for the all around excellent service that you guys have provided to us. The food is delicious and drink menu has us coming back every intermission. It’s good to walk in and have a server recognize us and the bartenders already knowing your drink order. Definitely recommending this great location. KEEPUPTHEGOODWORK

I came in before the playoff game and the place was busy. Got a seat pretty quickly despite the place being packed. My waitress was very attentive and got my drinks real fast. The food came quicker than I would have expected. It was really good. I got the nachos which were a big pile of yummy. I really enjoy this place and it is nice that they have it right out the front door

We came during a Kings/Ducks game and waited about 10 min for a table for 2. We ordered nachos and the Margherita pizza. Both awful! Nachos arrived cold and soggy. Pizza tasted like school lunch pizza. After the food runner brought our food we were never once checked on until we had to flag the server down for our bill. At that point we told her the nachos were soggy when they arrived. She said she would see what she could so. She rattled that off like it happens alot. After about 5 min she came back, handed us the bill and never apologized or thanked us. The nachos had been comped. Thanks for the heartburn and waste of calories. #disappointed

Came to dinner before the game tonight. The service is very slow. Three of the 4 of us got their food, however my steak did not come out. The waiter told me the«kitchen had lost the ticket.» How you lose 1 of 4 is beyond me, but ok. So now my family has all finished and my steak comes out. I asked for medium, because they were«rushing» my steak I expected it to be undercooked, but it was way overcooked. The flavor was good, but super dry. The waiter did take the steak off our bill and offered a dessert. We chose brownie sundae. It was a huge brownie, but obviously cooked a while ago. When you are only open when the venue is open every few days you’d think you could do things well.

This used to be Puck’s Tavern(ie: Wolfgang Puck, not the hockey puck) and the restaurant bailed out in 2014. The Standing O is owned by the Honda Center and the inside was kept the same as Puck, with a similar menu. I came here after the Teemu Selanne tribute for a very late post game dinner, and to hear former Ducks JS Giguere and George Parros chat with Kent French on hockey topics, and their take in the night’s event. I had made reservations for 8:30, thinking the event would start on time. Naturally an event such as retiring a hockey great’s number went over by an hour, and I feared my reservation got canceled. The Standing O staff was great! They held my reservation and we had a great high table for my party of 8. The post game menu was limited, but adequate: Pizzas, sandwiches, small bites, and desserts. I ordered the Margherita pizza and the Sausage Sampler. The Margherita pizza tasted like it was still in the cardboard box. When I brought it to my server’s attention, she said they ran out of dough and they had to «borrow» it from somewhere else. Seriously?! However, she said, the pepperoni and sausage pizza was the House dough. So she took the cardboard pizza back and sent me a sausage one, which was made with a flatbread type crust. Much better! The sausage sampler was 3 small, locally made sausages with 3 different sauces: a Bavarian style mustard, a ketchupy sauce, and a regular mustard, and it came with 2 pretzel rolls. I took a bite of each sausage, and they were pretty good. Stephen scarfed down the rest, so I guess he enjoyed it as well. The restaurant doesn’t have Pepsi, or even Coke, but. RCCOLA! I can’t really say if that’s good or bad, but at least(for me) its not Pepsi. Overall a decent post game meal. We couldn’t hear the post game interview, as the bar was quite noisy, and the loudspeaker wasn’t cranked up enough. I’d come back if I were hungry after a game, but perhaps skip the pizza and go for something else.

This a restaurant at the Honda center, so I didn’t have high expectations. The service was pretty good and respected the fact that we had 45 mins to eat and get to the game. I had the sausage pizza which was good and thin crusted. My dad had the italian combo which was surprisingly good quality meat and tasty. My fiancé had the shrimp po boy, which decent. The bread with it was not very good but the shrimp and everything else was good. My mom had the sausage appetizer which was really good. As far as stadium food/restaurants go this is good and you can’t expect much better. It’s casual and obviously what you would wear to a game is suitable.

What a shame. Pucks Tavern was so much better, and a great addition to the Honda Center. The food is just not that good. It is a bumped up version of the concession stand offerings. Standing O is now run by the arena, as opposed to a restaurant pro like Wolfgang Puck, and it shows. The quality has taken a major hit. But the prices remain the same. Really wanted to like this place(even went a second time to see if it was better), as we enjoy getting to the arena early and having a nice festive meal, and maybe a cocktail. Speaking of cocktails, they are terribly disappointing. Very small, and the presentation is drab. The only reason for 2 stars is the servers, managers, and hosts are very nice and eager for the guests to have an enjoyable experience. Would be great if the quality of the food was on par with them. What we ordered: Sausage Pizza and Pepperoni Pizza: we love thin crust, but this is ridiculous. The crust is so thin, and not quite done, so that all toppings slide off and the slice collapses. Think a wet piece of paper. Additionally, the meats are too salty. Not the highest of quality. 2 Different Salads: Both overdressed making for wilted greens. Too much salt and no complexity of flavor. Both people left most of it on their plates. Burger: he finished his plate and said it was good. Fries portion was tiny. Ratatouille: Surprisingly, this was the was the best dish at the table. Nice flavor, and a great option for vegetarians and carnivores. Moscow Mule: Served in a strange small squatty glass. Where is the copper mug? Do not recommend. Beer: $ 10.50 for a beer would be fine if the food was good. Happy to pay the higher price for a nice sit down meal. Wine: $ 21 for a glass of Justin. No way that was a 6 ounce poor.

This review is mainly for the service & dessert. Looking at the 5 stars above, it’s clear that I was impressed. My mother & I were leaving the Ducks home opener when I decided to take a look at the menu posted outside. My face immediately lit up when I saw«pavlova» listed under Desserts. For those of you who don’t know, pavlova is a meringue-based dessert that originated from New Zealand, topped with whipped cream and fresh fruit. I visited New Zealand a few years back & fell in love with it. Now, I haven’t been able to find pavlova anywhere in SoCal. So I clearly HAD to try Standing O’s. We walked in and were immediately seated by a very friendly waitress. Mom order a marg & I ordered the pavlova. The margarita came out fast, and mom said it was very good. Pavlova came out within 5 minutes and was beautiful. The meringue of the pavlova was perfect – not too hard, not too chewy. I could tell that the fruit was very fresh and the whipped cream tasted homemade. Another thing that pleased me was that the executive chef came out to ask what I thought of it, seeing as how it was only the 2nd pavlova they had made for guests. I thought it was awesome that he was so concerned with the customer experience. All in all, TRYTHEPAVLOVA! A truly delightful(& gluten free) dessert. I will definitely be back to try some drinks & entrees.

Standing O is new this year at Honda Center it took the place of what was Pucks Tavern which is defiantly a good thing because this space needs to be filled with a nice place for people to grab some food and drinks before a Ducks game or other Honda Center event. They have a pretty diverse menu with a good amount of options for everyone to choose from. All of which sounded pretty good and were decently priced for being a sit down place at an arena. Last night was their first night open I was one of the first ones through the door I made my way to the bar area to chill and grab a drink from their pretty decent beer selection of both on tap and bottled. It seemed as though they had more craft beer here than anything which is always a good choice for those who have a diverse pallet. After I enjoyed my first Hanger 24 brew I decided to keep it simple and just order a burger. One of their bartenders I believe his name was John was right on top of his game the whole time and very helpful to get me anything I needed. About 15 minutes went by or so and I started to think what happened to my food? So I give it a little bit longer knowing this is their opening night so they have to work the bugs out a bit not minding and just enjoying my beer and talking to others at the bar that was when the bartender came over and told me they gave my food to someone else and it would be a bit longer for mine to come out. By this time it had to have been at least 25 minutes or so when my food finally got to me I had to eat relatively quick so that I could make it inside to watch warm ups. My burger I ordered was decent it was pretty plain and just a standard burger that came with fries. The meat had a good flavor and it was cooked well so I definitely enjoyed it probably a bit more because it was free as it took them quite a wile to get it to me. If your planning on coming here with a group make sure you make reservations that way you’ll have a table when you show up as it will get quite busy here as hockey season progresses! We will definitely be returning here before another Ducks game either for a drink or for some food as this is a mellow place to kick it with friends before any Honda Center event!
