Speedy Cash

I have to agree with Desiree, this place is awful. My employer sent me a check drawn on this company so I called to make sure I could cash it without any delay. The Rep that took my call assured me there wouldn’t be any problems, then transferred me to the store on Brookhurst where another rep assured me the same. She did say I would have to open an account with them and I thought that was odd but agreed. I drove 15 miles to their location and was told that they could give me $ 3000 today and the other $ 5000 in seven days. I pointed out that the reps assured me I could CASH the check today and was informed that this seven day period was company procedure. I also mentioned that my employer gave them $ 8000 on Feb 22^nd and they had earned interest for a week but they weren’t happy with that. So I got really upset and informed the rep that this is bad business and they had wasted my time and gas and misled me. He just shrugged. So thank you «speedy» cash for wasting my time and generating this shining review of your «business». Oh and I went to my bank and they cashed the check without delay after I told them what had happened. Now THAT is customer service.
