I’m upgrading my review to a 5-​star solely because I love Laura that much! I would give her 10 stars if I could! Laura is so personable and sweet. She is seriously the BEST massage therapist ever. I feel like a new person after every session. I’m now a regular and look forward to seeing her every month.

Came here for my first time and had the best massage I have ever gotten! It was only $ 40 and they did a great massage with aromatherapy and hot stones! The woman Laura was great. She really knew what she was doing. I’m going to come back when I’m back in the area. Absolutely loved it!

AMAZING MASAGE!!! My girlfriend and I found a groupon code online for a 60-​minute full-​body massage and decided to check it out. It was my first time getting a massage, so I didn’t really know what to expect. However, my girlfriend has had professional massages done before, and she says that her experience here deserves all the praise it could get.
We had been complaining of muscle soreness on our backs and shoulders for a few weeks now, so we decided to ask about deep tissue massage. Prior to starting, they gave us a chart where we could put detailed comments and specify areas to focus on. Our massage therapist was Laura, and she listened thoroughly to our concerns and gave her own insightful feedback. She used to teach massage therapy and has 13 years of experience behind her, so I really felt comfortable trusting her! She mentioned that since this was my first time, she wanted to try a somewhat milder pressure than a full-​on deep tissue because that would probably hurt like hell. So, I agreed and left it all up to her discretion and expertise… and everything turned out just PERFECT! Any more pressure, and I would have definitely been too uncomfortable; any less pressure would have probably been unsatisfying. After my massage, she explained that the different oils/​lotions/​clays she used were all safe for sensitive skin and won’t make us break out afterwards. We also had a few other questions for her, which she answered thoroughly. BTW, she even let my girlfriend take a nap in another room while she finished my massage (how sweet is that?!).
As for the location: Restrooms and massage rooms were clean, well-​decorated, and very relaxing. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. It smells great and music was soothing. Overall, we both agreed that it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be back sooner rather than later. THANK YOU SO MUCH LAURA!

I purchased a group on for this place and called to make an appointment when they told me the only person that does waxes is on vacation for one month. So about one month later I called and they told me they hired a new person who was in training so they couldn’t schedule me until like 2 weeks later. So finally after I was able to get an appointment I went in and although the staff was very nice, it was the worst waxing experience of my entire life. I get the girl was new and had recently finished training but I think I could have done a better job. She constantly tugged on the wax strips without pulling them off so that it just yanked on my hair and holy crap. After a painful hour plus of them yanking on my hair they were finally done and I was just so happy to get the hell out of there. I actually purchased a groupon for 2 Brazilian waxes but had no intention of going back, and I noticed they marked both as redeemed which I don’t even care. I literally went home and started crying explaining my experience to my husband cause I was in so much pain and had to ice myself for the rest of the night. All I can say is OUCH!

Went in and got a massage. Best ever. She knew exactly where my problem areas were without even me telling her. Thank you so much Laura… oh and the receptionist Jordan was very professional. Thank you Skin Di amor. Will definitely be back again soon.

I came here initially to see Amy for a brazilian wax but since she moved to Oregon I decided to try out the new esthetician (I forgot her name unfortunately). She was super friendly and very professional. The only reason I give this place one star is because the actual wax she used was HORRIBLE and kept breaking. The most painful waxing experience of my life due to the poor quality of the wax. As an esthetician myself I was really disappointed that such sub-​par products were being used. I could have found a better product at Sallys. I will not be back.

Just got off the phone with this place of business. Tried to schedule a Brazilian and at first the girl on the phone said they were out of wax. I was like, «what???». And then she said it was because the person who does the waxing is on vacation. So I asked if I couldn’t schedule the appointment because they’re out of wax or because the waxer is on vacation. She said, «both». Very confusing. If they would have just said there were no appointments available for the day I wanted I would have scheduled it for another day and moved on with my life. Instead I have to write this review because I’m so irritated with their procedures and lack of professionalism. This place is awful… so far!

Nice place to get pampered. Very friendly employees. This is my 2^nd time here. If it wasn’t for groupon wouldn’t have found this place :).

I looooooved it! First time ever that i get a facial done, and I’m glad i came here. Kelly walked me through the process and made me feel super comfortable, she is great! … I really liked the fact that i wasn’t pressured to buy products as other places usually pressure you to do. Also, since this place is located at the medical offices on the hospital campus, it kind of gave me more trust to go in. I really, really recommend this place if you are looking into getting skin care.
P. s. I didn’t broke out after the facial… that was one of my major fears.

Amy is the best! Love her. Very thorough and gives advice on how to create DIY mask/​spot treatments using natural products! Place is cute and relaxing! Definitely recommend her for facials.

A very well hidden spot– It’s located inside the Anaheim Medical Center Offices on the 6^th floor. It was my first time here and I received a massage by Lorena. I absolutely enjoyed it! She is very professional, took out all the knots I had on my back, and her touch was just perfect! I would love to come back again!

I definitely have different standards for a small business style spa like Skin D’Amour versus a large day spa like Burke Williams. That being said, I would rate this place closer to 3.5 STARS, but not quite 4.
I had a Swedish/​deep tissue massage with Amber. I had her start with deep tissue on my neck, shoulders, and back. I wanted to get the huge knot out of my left side for about ¹⁄₃ of the hour and then finish with a more relaxing Swedish massage for the last ²⁄₃. I could tell that she wasn’t going to keep with that ratio, so I reminded her that I didn’t want to focus on deep tissue that long. Although she made some progress on my knot, it wasn’t worth all the pain and it really didn’t help. She also only massaged my back side and never had me flip over. That was really unusual and made my massage feel incomplete.
The ambiance of the waiting area was good, except the «relaxing» music was so loud, I had to ask them to turn it down. They also tried to cross sell me a manicure while I was waiting for my bf’s massage that was before mine to finish. When I was leaving you could also smell all the nail fumes in the waiting area.
The ambiance in the massage room was very sterile, even for being in a medial
building. They had the overhead florescent lighting and vertical blinds over the window that were open. It was so bright I couldn’t relax. Not really worth it, even at the Groupon price.

Worst salon spa place ever. So I bought a living social voucher for this place and I scheduled my appointment. 3 days before my appointment, they call me to say they rescheduled my appointment because their nail tech hurt her foot. Wtf, so I told them I had to call off from work to get that day off. So I had to call off another day of work because they automatically rescheduled me. Then I arrive at the damn place, and waited and waited because their tech was running late. Then I get a call, saying the nail tech called off sick, and since I’m here, I can get a facial instead. Wtf!!! That’s not what I paid for and definitely not what I wanted. F***ing ridiculous and unprofessional. Drove more than 30 mins to go here because of good reviews I read on Unilocal.Total bs. BS!!!

Soo I went today for a European facial with led lights she did the high frequency machine and a micro current I think it was. The lady who did my facial was super nice but she was a bit over talking her machines, products, or abiltys bc she talked up strom of amazing the results would be (mind you I have pretty normal nice skin just a bit dry) so I expected a gooood result! she asked me if iv had a facial
like thisbefore lol I said no. I should have said yes, in school, Iam licensed hair stylist and am also licensed to do facials and many things estys do, her patterns with aplying product was very quick &simple very reminiscent of cosmo school needless to say I left feeling the effects of the machines she used bc the hurt a bit while I was there however there was still my nose and chin amd little other areas with obvious blackheafs or whites even though I askher to extract, she insisted it would be more affective and FAST by rubbing them out with hottowel, if I must say on the way home I stopped by wallgreens and bout the black head amd white remover and a bottle of a mask, after my facial — Does that sum it up I think it does the only reason I give 2stars was bc girl was so sweet super clumbsy but sweet but I’m jist glad I bought it as, a livingsocial for 45 rather than double that.

Amy is the best! Go to nobody else for your waxing needs. She makes a brazilian the most comfortable and pleasant experience it can be. Friendly staff. Very clean and sanitary. Amazing prices and packages. Hard to find, but worth it! So glad I found this little secret :)

I got 2 groupons. A Brazilian wax and a Facial. I had my appointments on 2 different days. Amy was great during both of them!
I never tried hard wax til I lived in Florida. And I gotta say… I much prefer it to the soft wax. I was surprised to learn that Amy uses both depending on the client’s needs.
Amy was super helpful and informative and even gave some facial tips on home made concoctions that are super inexpensive, to be used between facials.
It’s an odd location because it’s located in Anaheim Memorial Hospital. But, once you find the place, it’s totally worth hunting it down.

Gotta love Groupon, great deal.2 Brazilians for $ 37.

Amazing Amy was great. very informative & nice. she used hard & soft wax…
She was very detailed & a perfectionist.& she even made me feel comfortable when I was not. I LOVE that…=)

To sum things up and keep from discussing my lady parts in too much detail:
Amy is amazing! Very thorough but quick. She was personable and would make even shy people feel more comfortable (not the easiest thing in that situation).
She uses both soft and hard wax in certain areas for the best results. I’ve had plenty of waxes before but this is by far one of the best and her choice of waxes limits irritation.
Glad I decided on the 2 wax deal because I really like Skin D’Amour and I’m surprised how there is such a limited amount of reviews.
