Reasonable Service Appliance Repair

This was the first time we had Brian come and repair an appliance and are we so very satisfied. He did a very professional job and his prices were reasonable. In addition, he has a very pleasant demeanor which is always appreciated.

Brian was great to work with. We set the appointment quickly and he arrived promptly and solved the problem thoroughly for a great price. I highly recommend Brian’s services and will be calling him back!

Brian got back to me in 10 mins. when I texted him. He gave me helpful information over the phone and we pretty much diagnosed the issue on the phone. He showed up at my home within an hour and had the washer fixed good as new in 20 mins. Reasonable pricing (he gave me an additional discount) and VERY friendly courteous, and clean. I WILL use him again, and in fact have used him in the past as he recognized me! A+++++

Have had Brian out twice more since writing this review. Once to fix the dryer and once for the oven. Both times he was able to diagnose and fix the problem. I would not use anyone for appliance issues. Brian is the best!

First, the positives–
Brian is very personable, friendly and came out at a moments notice. Five stars for service! He diagnosed the problem with our dryer and had the part on his truck, it took him maybe 5 minutes to have it up and running. He also replaced our aging dryer hose in less than 10 minutes. Five stars for knowledge and expertise.
The service call charge was $ 59.95 which was pricier than appliance world quoted but eh, an extra $ 15 is not such a big deal if it means you are getting someone out there you know is «reasonable» and knowledgable, right? Three stars.
Labor for his 15 – 20 minutes of work was $ 30. Okaaay… Three stars.
The repair involved a new thermal fuse, for which he charged $ 45 and a short length of dryer hose for which he charged $ 25. Now me, not having any knowledge of dryer parts it seemed a little expensive but hey, what do I know, right? Well, I just checked to see how much thermal fuses cost for my dryer and I found it on Amazon. Imagine my surprise when my $ 45 part only costs $ 2.95. I understand marking up a product for resale, but really? $ 45? I have a feeling the dryer hose would have cost about .50 if I would have gotten it at Home Depot. Oh, and $ 6 in tax. I’m feeling a bit foolish. One star for exorbitant markups and making me feel foolish, Reasonable Appliance Repair.
I’m editing this review and marking up one star because I’ve since learned that Brian pays attention to customer feedback and acts to make his business better. According to him he has changed his mark ups for some parts. I think that’s great! I know his customers are extremely important to him and his prices are competitive in the local plumbing field.

Brian was very friendly and professional. He was honest and prices were very fair. We called him yesterday afternoon to set an appointment to fix a dryer belt and the ignitor in our oven. He came out the next morning and within an hour had both appliances repaired and running!
Brian will be our go-​to guy from now on!

I was getting ready to bake Christmas cookies with my granddaughter on Christmas Eve. Turned the oven on to preheat and nothing. Fortunately, I was not cooking Christmas dinner. Called Brian on the day after Christmas and left a message. He called me right back, came over, gave me an estimate, and repaired my oven.

We have 4 rental properties and something always seems to be broken, so I have had my share of nightmare stories with other companies. So glad I found Brian! He came out to replace the water pump on our Kenmore washer. He was just great to deal with, prompt, fast and his pricing was very reasonable! All the qualities you can only hope for. I am so glad I found my new «go to guy»!

I manage an apartment complex and will no doubt put Brian on my speed dial from now on. He is professional, his service is excellent and I’m lucky to have found him. It’s no wonder he has so many stellar reviews.

I used Reasonable Service twice in one month. The first repair job (washer) was quick and easy to fix. Brian was very courteous and charged a fairly reasonable price for the fix. However, the 2^nd repair was not quite that easy and I should have just left it alone (electric stove burner). Brian is a very nice person, but fixing our stove was a bit outside of his expertise. He had to consult with a friend to figure out what could be causing one of our burners not heat up. Making a long story short they got it fixed, but at a hefty cost that I did not expect. It wasn’t close to buying a new stove – cost-​wise — but enough to put a dent in our budget. So, will I use Reasonable Service again if need be? Perhaps, but next time I will make sure I get a total cost quote up front.

Brian returned my email very quickly and he worked with me to schedule a convenient time to repair my Maytag washer. He was prompt, polite and very professional. And the price was very fair. I would definitely recommend him to others and would call him for other appliance repairs.

I had been searching high and low for a Maytag Naptune washing machine to match a dryer that was given to me. I could not believe it when I walked into the Salvation Army and it was sitting there for $ 150! They told me it was tested and fully working. When I got it home there were issues. The store only offers credit on returns and what I didn’t need was a $ 150 voucher for Salvation Army burning a hole in my pocket. Anyway, I found Brian on Unilocal and gave him a call. He was very informative over the phone. telling me certain things to check on and letting me know ahead of time about certain issues this particular washer was known to have. I researched what he told me and found that it was all legit. He came over and replaced two malfunctioning parts for $ 90 including labor. He also advised me to look for a good deal on a control board since they are prone to failure and expensive to replace. I found one on ebay for $ 50 instead of new for over $ 200. He offered to come back and install it for FREE! He’s awesome, honest, reliable, and best of all reasonable.

This was my first time to have Brian out for an appliance repair (washing machine). Brian diagnosed the water pump malfunction after only five seconds of listening to the machine’s operation. He had the part on hand and the cost was very reasonable. Brian also checked to see if any other parts needed repair /​replacement but none did. He was very polite and neat with very good attention to detail. I would recommend him highly.

Called him in to take a look at my Maytag washer, he was prompt and curteous. We found the problem, which was too major of a repair for him to do. He gave me a discount for the diagnosis as well.

I used Brian twice… once to replace the seal on my Maytag washer and then to replace the glass in my Whirlpool wall oven two weeks later. Brian did a great job both times. He was on time and his rate was very reasonable.
