Personalized Tree Service

Extremely satisfied with this tree service company. After several local tree service estimates I decided to go with PTS because of their expertise and knowledge of what I was asking for and wanted done. More importantly their prize beat all the other estimates I had, plus they are licensed and insured, which is a must for me. They did exactly what I asked for and left my backyard super clean after the job was done. The supervisor was present before and after the job. Once the job was done the supervisor made sure I was satisfied with the work and job done. I will definitely use them again.

The 5-​man crew that de-debris’d our 2-​city-​lot backyard of masses of dead brush, leaves, foliage and one passé tree were like a special forces group that came, saw, destroyed and retreated, leaving no trace that anyone had been there. Awesome! And all that in 2 daylight days under blistering summer temperatures.
Team leader Oracio knows how to tame foliage and in a jungle garden, ours having been neglected for decades similar to the film «Grey Gardens.» I left the crew to their expertise, thinking of the project as a strategic assault that may have at first looked chaotic, but then crafted together like a work of art, with minimal fine-​tuning here and there.
The crew was quiet (no yelling to each other unlike many who disrespect neighbors’ rights to as much peace and quiet as one can get during large neighborhood home improvement projects); the crew was polite, self-​sufficient, efficient, fast and team-​coordinated, as one sees in old movies where the locals move steadily like a human convoy ferrying basketsful of goods on their shoulders. The crew removed all their personal items (water bottles, food wrappings, tab tops) from the property when they were finished with the job, no homeowner after-​cleanup required.
Oracio, who originally provided the estimate, participated as both as a crew member and supervising team lead. That’s impressive on its own! More often, estimators vanish after the contract is signed and a clueless crew shows up without any supervision. Not with PTS.
The emailed estimate came as a package: business license, insurance, liability, estimate bundled altogether, without my asking. Very professional and reassuring.
For the cost, each man muscled for and earned his share over those 2 days. The property now looks totally alive, new and shaped, worth every penny.
Footnote: Of 6 companies contacted, 3 didn’t follow up with verbal or written estimates, 2 didn’t have the resources to fit the job (one was ready to go hire off the streets). PTS estimate was the highest of the 3, and, from the work completed, I’m not sure another company could have done a better job.

Jose Saldivar was a pleasure to meet, right from the start. He is very knowledgable, practical and ethical. He was on time. His crew was efficient, nice, and respectful. We had a gigantic ficus, several clusters of horrible Brazilian Pepper trees removed, for a very reasonable price. They did an excellent clean up. The yard looks amazing. I highly recommend Jose and his business.

After getting several quotes to remove twin King Palm trees, I chose to have PTS cut the palms down and stump grind the roots. They did an excellent job, at a very competitive price. We bartered a lower price and in return the work would be performed on the same day as the quote. Prior to agreeing on their service, I checked out their business license, BBB rating, insurance, and reviews on Home Advisors. Everything checked out. They cleaned up the mess and removed all frowns and remnants. I am very happy with their work and professionalism and will use them again should the occasion arise.

Ok. They removed my trees. They put a whole in my garage wall, and covered it up with putty and paint. Still looks really bad. Also promised to remove the stump with a stump grinder. They did not do a good job becuase my tree is growing back. Owner told me to call him if this happened. Tried calling him, but never showed when he said he would. Now that he knows my number, he is ignoring my phone calls. It has now been a couple weeks with no phone call, and about 10 ignored phone calls. I am at a major loss here Unilocal community. The roots are continueing to grow and destroy the concrete in the front of the house. They may be ok at trimming trees, but their tree removal has been a nightmare.

We were in desperate need of tree trimming. They gave us a great price and did a good job. They took off way more than I wanted, but we probably should have been paying more attention. More was better than not enough
Another thing I would recommend is that they put the estimate in writing. Joe came out and gave me the estimate. He gave it for both just the tree trimming and for cutting down two trees that were dead. I was not home when the guys came out to do it and they did not know that was part of the price he gave me. They went ahead and did it, so that was great, but it could have been solved if the estimate was in writing.

Great service. They were on-​time and did the job right at the right cost.

i needed to trim several trees in my house and remove a big tree. i called and the same day the owner mr. joe saldivar came and gave us the estimate. we could’nt be happier, his crew is extremely professional and they did an excellent job. i had worked with other teams in the past but his company is the best so far. i will recommend it to anybody who needs to do a similar job!
