P.D.A. Productions takes great pride in our ability to offer quality «Family Style» entertainment. We provided clowns, magicians, face painters, balloon twisters, barbershop quartets, storytelling and even Elvis, Pirates and Santa and Mrs. Claus for any type of get-​together: birthday parties, picnics, Grand Openings, or Special occasion parties.

History

Established in 1986.

P.D.A. Productions began as a one man show doing magic shows only. After graduating from Clown College and working with a well known traveling circus, clowns and picnic entertainment were added. This expanded to include an award-​winning Comedy Barbershop Quartet, an Elvis impersonator, and Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Business Owner

Rick began performing magic at the age of seven years of age. He paid for his college education doing magic shows for all types of events. While serving in the U.S. Navy, he performed in various countries in the Pacific area. He won 2^nd place in a Navy wide Talent competition performing his stage/​illusion act. Upon his Honorable Discharge from the Navy, he became a school teacher, using his magic skills to educate special needs students. During a summer break, he attended an 8 week long course in being a professional clown. He was asked upon graduation of this school to perform as a guest clown in the Circus Vargas traveling show for the remainder of the summer. He met his wife, a fellow clown and they joined forces to add new elements to the business; including a Comedy Barbershop Quartet, an Elvis impersonator, a pirate, some Holiday Elves and Santa and Mrs. Claus
