Just walked out after sitting for 10 – 15 mins with no server coming to table. Talk about bad service. First and last time here

I really don’t know why I bother to come into this store. Today it was after 11 am and I tried to buy a double cream blueberry pie. For the third consecutive time they were out-of-stock on this item. They suggested I think of the second choice. I told them no thank you and left. I picked up the double cream blueberry pie on my way home at a different restaurant(kudos to the Orange restaurant on Tustin Ave). Message to the management at the Euclid restaurant. Why not try to have each pie that you are supposed to be selling at least available by 10 am? You have been out of this item on three consecutive trips I have made to your restaurant. Each of my trips have been a visit to your restaurant around 11 am and each time you were out. That is a pattern — one that you should notice. I am a customer and don’t bother to answer if all you are going to do is give an excuse. Quite frankly I don’t care to hear excuses. I will tell you this — I am going to help you with this pattern. I will find a different Marie Callender’s which does not seem to have this problem — San Juan Capistrano or Tustin. BTW — yes, I do know it is $ 7.99 pie month at Marie Callender’s. Yes, I know that you sell a lot of pies when this promotion occurs. BUT, I am shopping for my pies in the morning and you should not be out-of-stock before noon.

We like our two for one breakfast coupons and use them all the time. Breakfast is good. The service can be hit or miss in the mornings. They are busy visiting in the back but when they come out, the service is decent. We don’t do lunch or dinner, too expensive unless we have a coupon! We do love the pies and get them to go for special occasions like Christmas or Thanksgiving.

Not gonna lie, when I’m all alone I like to eat here. Some good olé chicken pot pie with corn bread and a slice of pie. Always seems to make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. This place has a bit of charm. They always welcome me to sit at the coffee counter as I wait for my Togo order. They always offer me a drink while I wait too! I’ve only eaten in once but I’m sure it’s just as good if not better!

I have been at this location 3 times, and every time I leave disappointed. The food is just okay. The last time I was here 12÷18÷15 I ordered a sandwich and it was really greasy. My children and I were never offered refills and we never received our corn bread.(But the table behind us that had the same waitress received theirs) I didn’t even bother to ask for it. I will not return.

My review is for the efficiency of getting the pies out during the major hoilday: Thankgiving. I always fail to reserve my pies online and no, they don’t take online orders the day before or on Thanksgiving. I arrived on Thanksgiving eve at 4 p.m. and waited in a line that went all the way to the back room, but was out of there within ten minutes and I was watching a boxing documentary on the t.v. at the bar as I was waiting. This location is on a terrible main street right off of the 5 fwy. and Euclid so I suggest going the back way(off LIncoln and Loara which leads to the East end of the shopping center) to avoid getting into an accident or frustrated with traffic. I’ve never had to wait very long and they never seem to run out of pies! Kudos to Marie Callendar’s for being on top of their game all the time!

This review is for the Braised Beef Pot Roast and not the restaurant. I’ve went to a different location back in 2006 and had the Braised Beef Pot Roast(I love pot roast) which I absolutely thought was disgusting. Fast forward to yesterday. I was starving and haven’t returned to any Marie Callender’s since 06. We decided to give it a try and because I love Pot Roast, I decided to try it again, hoping that maybe it just was a bad experience. Well no, it tasted the same as I remembered. No bueno… 0 stars for the Pot Roast 3 stars for the super friend staff! They did a great job. The location was nice.

I was looking for a quick lunch near one of my offices, and I spotted this place. I walked in not expecting the best, but also not thinking it would be as bad as it was. After a quick look at the menu I decided to go with the salad bar(which included soup) in an attempt to be simi healthy. The salad bar is hardly what one would deem an actual salad bar. It look liked an odd mix of what the chef happened to find in the kitchen that day. Nothing looked that fresh and the entire«bar» was in need of a cleaning. The soups were nearly empty and luke warm, so i decided to pass on those. Overall I had a mediocre simi fresh salad for almost $ 13.00. I could have gone to subway for half the price and better ingredients. I can’t comment on their hot foods, as this was my one and only time trying them. I probably won’t return though.

With an order some totaling over $ 105 you would think they would care more about their customers. I am flabbergasted on how this particular location is still open with how they conduct business. Multiple orders incorrect Uncooked food Bad communication between cashier management and Chef I love Marie calendars and always enjoy the food but this was a horrible experience. False promises of compensation then being hung up on. Horrible customer service Gerry was a the Manager on duty today and yesterday very rude I am young woman but I do not appreciate being called Honey every second when I gave her my name. ‼ATTENTIONGENERALMANAGERKEVINJOHNSON ‼ definitely look into the quality of workers you have in your business. I cannot believe that Jerry hung up on me. I will be contacting your corporate office and letting them know about my negative experience as well as letting all of my friends and family members know as well.

This might be a great please considering the Décor and a atmosphere. We were seated quickly, after the lunch rush. But there were few patrons. Our server was Eric and lost point he didn’t say his name and you significantly when he began to serve. The food arrived quickly but that was the end of the quality of the meal. The burger was completely drenched in thousand island dressing hiding under the bun. When I raised it it began to drip, not unexpected, but the bite dropped way to much sauce. Completely soaked the bun and the sauce just split the bun into pieces. Didn’t enjoy that, but te fries were okay. Not recommended, we will not return.

Marie Callender’s is known for American comfort food, and best known for their delicious pies, whether it is their chicken pot pie or their flaky fruit pies. Over the years, I stopped going here because the portions were too big, and well, the prices were also just too high, especially for a coffee shop/casual dining place. The restaurant chain must have realized the decline in sales, and recently they changed their menu and added a «Crave and Save» value menu with smaller portions, and prices ranging from $ 6-$ 9. In addition, they added a smaller priced version of their popular Chicken Pot Pie and called it a Trio Combo for $ 9.99, which is a small Caesar salad, a petite version of the Pot Pie, and a slice of pie for dessert(fresh fruit excluded). Karen and I needed to stop at Walmart, and came here for dinner, and also to watch the Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Chicago Blackhawks hockey game. Originally I was going to get the Pot Pie, but after perusing through the new«Crave» menu, I opted for the Open faced hot turkey sandwich for $ 9, while Karen went for the Chicken pot pie combo. Overall, a pleasant experience. The prices are much more affordable, and the portions are what we «should» be eating. I hope that Marie Callender’s keep this menu option.

This review is specific to the German Chocolate pie with the Oreo crust. It looks wonderful when served. It’s a good sized slice with whipped cream, but not too much. The texture is smooth and even, minus the crust. HOWEVER the filling is rather tasteless. This pie had little to offer. The cocoa in the Oreo crust was more apparent than in the filling. It had an excellent texture, likely due to the overuse of dairy products to minimize cocoa use. Also worth noting is the«richness» of this pie is grossly overstated. It has far too much sugar and very little chocolate flavor. The sensation of eating this was enjoyable but the taste left a lot to be desired. As for the food I had for dinner… meh. Not offensive but not unique, either. Just a lot of MEH.

Good choice for brunch, just enough food variety to fulfil the taste buds. I really like their bbq ribs, omelettes and salad bar.

Good old fashion Marie Callender’s restaurant taking you back thirty years to the old school days when you were a kid and came here on Sundays. These restaurants are a dying breed, I honestly miss these types of comfort foods. I wish there were more of these open in SoCal, their food is incredible and the country atmosphere is quite charming. We need more of these kinds of restaurants and a little less of the new hipster gastro newbs.

I visited this Marie Callender(MC) location with my mom and grandma when we were visiting Disneyland and staying close by at one of the hotels. It was around Thanksgiving, and MC was one of the few eateries that was open at decent hours(either on TG eve or TG day … I can’t remember, but a lot of the other restaurants were closed). We enjoyed our dining experience tremendously and everyone found something they liked. While I can’t remember what my mom and grandma ordered, I remember that the food came out pretty quickly and the pies we shared were delicious. Here’s what I would recommend, as well as entrees I want to try during a future visit: «Marie’s Classic Quiche»: I think I got this quiche on my first trip to MC. I remember that it was really good because it included some of my favorite ingredients — applewood smoked bacon and melted cheese. The quiche was light and buttery, and it also came with fresh fruit to provide some sweet balance to the savory meal. «Rosemary Chicken Sandwich»: This sandwich is one of the newer additions on the MC menu, but its components sound like it’s right up my alley. It features grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh rosemary, garlic and olive oil, with melted swiss, mayonnaise, spring lettuce and tomato on a grilled wheat ciabatta. I would get this sandwich without the tomato, but all the other herbs – especially the garlic, olive oil and fresh rosemary – are sure to add some great flavors to that tender chicken. «Callender’s Fish & Chips»: I’m always on the lookout for a good fish & chips entrée, so I want to try this MC version one day. It features Redhook beer battered cod fillets fried to crispy golden brown and is served with fries and almond coleslaw. I probably wouldn’t touch the slaw, but I’m interested to see how the fish & chips here taste, as well as the fries. «Breakfast Croissant Sandwich»: I love how MC serves some breakfast items all day, and this sandwich is one of those entrees! This meal features a buttery, flaky croissant with eggs, applewood smoked bacon and cheese, and – best of all – it’s accompanied with a side of tater tots. That factor alone has me sold. «Country Hasher»: This is another breakfast entrée that’s served all day, and it provides the perfect solution if you’re craving something savory to start off your day. It features tater tots piled high with scrambled eggs, applewood smoked bacon, sausage, and cheddar, jack and Swiss cheeses, and it comes topped with country sausage gravy. Because I’m not sure about the gravy at MC(do they give a lot? A little? Is the gravy thick?), I would probably ask for it on the side so I can drizzle it over my hash at my own leisure. The hash combo sounds really good, especially with tater tots as the base, so I definitely want to get this breakfast entrée at some point. «Old-Fashioned French Toast»: Pancakes or French toast are usually my go-tos when it comes to breakfast cuisine, since I prefer sweeter entrees. This meal features thick slices of egg bread dipped in a creamy egg batter with vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. What a great medley of spices! This entrée is totally toward the top of my list of must-tries. «Cheesecake Topped with OREO Cookies»: I would love to try this dessert from MC one day. It features New York-style cheesecake topped with fresh whipped cream, chunks of OREO cookies and chocolate sauce. Yum! I would get my cheesecake without the whipped cream, but the OREO cookie chunks and chocolate sauce provide the extra sweetness I so like on my desserts.

I came here to pickup a pumpkin pie in Thanksgiving, I expected better quality for some reason. The prices a lil expensive considering the size and the quality. they were running out of the holiday special pie. overall I don’t think I will go buy a sweet Pie from here again if am craving one.

Marie Calenders is one of my favorite casual restaurants! Every week I go to this restaurant for two hours with my SAT tutor. The waitresses are very accommodating, they allow us to sit in a quieter spot of the restaurant so there aren’t as many distraction when I’m being tutored. Lourie, our usual waitress, is the most kind and friendly person I have every met. She has come to memorize our order and acts if we would like, «the usual.» «The usual» consists of the original hamburger with fries for myself and the grilled ham sandwich with fries for my tutor. The food is delicious! My hamburger is always cooked perfectly and the fries are just as good. Over all I find the service and food at this restaurant to be great! Every week I look forward to Wednesday because I know that is the day I’ll be at Marie Calendars after school.

First time to a Marie calenders and I thought it would be the same as a cocos… but u am wrong ! The service was good and came here on and whim having had never been here before and pie sounded good(who am I kidding pie always sounds good…) anyways they have a nice deal for happy hour and on Sunday happy hour is all day ! The onion rings were very good very crispy and fresh tasting and the quesadilla was also very good. For dinner I order the pie trio deal which is 3 items for $ 9.99 which has choices of a pot pie(which has amazing flakey pie crust) a salad(which they allowed me to substitute for mashed potatoes, also were very good with potato chunks and tasted home made rather than some creamy mush of instantness) and for pie I chose the razzle berry warm with ice cream ! Overall the prices are good and the food quality is also awesome our server was on top of drink refill and I would come back again even tho this is not my normal go to place :)

I first started coming here for take out pies. The prices here are great and will most likely be adding pounds to people all over the area. While waiting for my pies I noticed this place has a pub style bar, which I was told has happy hour all the time, all day Sunday. In addition there is a regular full size Marie Calendars restaurant. This is a great spot!
