Lincoln Park Apartments

Since I’ve lived here my car, parked in the gated parking underneath, has been broken into TWICE. Whenever we tell the manager she checks her cameras which are ZERO help since they only point to the gate opening. Do not live here. The drug users and gang bangers next door always come into the garages and can because they have figured it out. THIS PLACE IS NOT SECURE BY ANY MEANS.

Since my car got broken into my front porch has also been broken into. I don’t know where this supposed security is but they must be doing a terrible job. Again no cameras and no responsibility taken l my the manager. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE. IT IS NOT PROTECTED.

i rented an apartment there for almost 2 years. during that time it wasnt a great experience, and id recommend you find somewhere else to rent. Why? Well the best part of the apartment is if youre lucky enough to get a lower unit, those have very spacious patios, which can be great if you like to hang out outdoors. but other than that these are the issues i had with lincoln park: 1) on both sides of the apartment (on lincoln) there are very dirty motels which may bring a bad/​unsavory element to the apts 2) the first year i stayed there i found i had bedbugs (gross!) which i have never had or experienced before. i was told by management it was me who brought them! i was told i had to pay to get the apt cleaned! using the apts cleaning service (which i automatically questioned since the handy man and the cleaning lady both are relatives of the manager) so i found my own cleaning agency. 3) this apartment complex is located next to a large sewer ditch, so if you are on that side of the complex prepare for many bugs. What kind of bugs? the ones that we had were Wolf Spiders. large Furry spiders. 4) my car was broken into twice in a month. i had several items stolen from me. 5) the tenants in the building are of questionable character. at one point i had drug dealers, ex cons and drug addicts living on every side of me.6) like i mentioned the cleaning lady and the janitor both are family of the manager, so instead of getting things done professionally, they are temporarily fixed and not maintained well 7) the pipes in this building are very old, so old in fact that we had 2 water leaks. one somewhere in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. we used to get sewer flies coming out of the sink and from the bottom of the dishwasher. this was never fixed while i was there, and happened until the day i moved out.
avoid this place!

I Lived here for two years, and The staff was friendly, professional, and nice.
Jessica the Manager is EXTREMELY Professional, and Was Very Very Helpful, This is a Great Complex to Live in For the Price.

I called to ask about their apartments and the lady on the phone was so rude. I don’t know who she was or if she was having a bad day but I guess they don’t want new tenants in their building. Bad customer service. I like the place, but would not want to move here after that experience.
