Learning Light Metaphysical Foundation

This is a great center full of people who really care about what they’re doing. I have been coming here for years and have received healings from most of the healers. I always leave feeling relaxed and centered. I have been to the Healers’ Studio on Monday nights ($ 15 for a healing session) and I love it. The healings are all done in the main room of the building, but the experience is so personal that you don’t really notice the people around you.
They have a meditation room that you can sit in before your healing, and a little gift shop with books, crystals, CDs, and more. They also have a Psychic Fair on the second Saturday of every month. It’s a great event to come to if you’re a newbie. There are many healers, psychic readers, and vendors who sell goods for all your metaphysical needs!
Overall, this is a great little center with a loving community of people! Definitely worth a visit.

I really enjoyed going to the Healer’s studio they have every Monday. I went there a while ago to get a healing session and the woman who did Reiki was called Afsi. I highly recommend her! I felt so light and at peace after my session with her.
Their bookstore is small, but that’s okay. I was mainly there for the healing studio! I know they offer a lot of other classes here and a psychic fair too. Definitely have to check those out.

Went on a Saturday when they were having a psychic fair. Spent 40 dollars on a 30 min reading. Was very entertaining but I don’t think I’ll be back for a while. Feels a little run down and it’s missing some passion from the workers.

Karma Dog Training (much like the building they are using) is one of the best kept secrets in Anaheim. Operating out of a quaint old non-​profit building that has various other classes and workshops going on; the space is conducive to what Karma Dog Training is all about, and Laura is well-​equipped to deal with all of the puppies that come through the door! Laura is very down to earth and takes a sensible, loving approach to helping you help your pup. She knows her stuff and is also so personable that the process is enjoyable, leaving both owner and puppy satisfied with the experience. Karma Dog stands behind their trainers, and rightfully so, offering a free introductory class so that both parties can see if the class is a good match. This is an amazing place to go. They have every type of psychic you can imagine and some you can’t imagine… Once a month they have a psychic fair, you can purchase metaphysical supplies as well as visit a psychic and even sit through some free seminars. It is very relaxing.
I only gave it 4 stars because it is NOT wiccan friendly. Their bookstore doesn’t not have wiccan books and I was even told not to read tarot cards that have any wiccan images on them, nor was I to say I was connected in anyway to wicca. I am not wiccan, but I have friends who are and they are very disappointed about the lack of wiccan books.
But, other than that, they play movies and have many free events that the public can attend. I used to go to their paranormal research group and listen to them present what they have found. Very interesting place and I encourage anyone to go. If you are new to new age philosophies, this is a safe place to start, as no one pressures you to become a member. You can safely and anonymously attend their events anytime. If you decide to go to the psychic fair, the parking lot fills up very fast and most of the businesses nearby do NOT allow parking in their lot. It is best to park a couple of blocks south of it in a residential neighborhood.
This is an old 2 story building, no elevator and tiny bathrooms so a wheelchair can only get around the first floor but will have a hard time using the bathrooms. But the psychic fair is only on the first floor so if you only want to spend an hour it might be worth it.

I’m not sure this is actually a bookstore; the place seems more like an organization/​community center (considering there are several rooms for classes and lots of posters for events…). As the previous rater states, the book selection is not big. There are select copies about spiritualism; however, there is also a small selection of tarot bags, stones, herbs, statuettes, and jewelry (pretty fairly priced).
The people who work there are extremely friendly. I’ve never actually taken a class in this place (it’s a bit far and out of the way for me), but they offer a lot of different ones that would fit your needs and interests (ie, furthering your psychic development). I would say that the classes are relatively cheap considering what is being taught. There’s also a good selection of readers; most of them are $ 50 – 60 per half hour (it would be best to set up an appointment). If you ever drop by, pick up their newsletter or check out their fliers. Occasionally (or rather, usually), they’ll have some interesting speaker/​psychic coming for a visit!
Also, definitely check out the psychic fair every second Saturday of the month! I have found the best deals for stones, pendulums, and little knick knacks (MUCH cheaper than the metaphysical stores I’ve visited so far). And they have a LOT of readers during that day, so you can take your pick of whom you feel would resonate with you best. I took a friend there, and he loved it, especially his reading. There’s even the aura station, which I’ve only found in a couple other places around Orange County.

The Learning Light Foundation is more than just a book store. The Learning Light Foundation is Southern California’s largest metaphysical and holistic education center. I have sat in on two classes which were ok. Just out of curiosity I went to a spirit circle where «you» can tap into your psychic side. Well, needless to say I was a bit skeptical. For the most part I was annoyed by some of the other people in there. However the healing circles I did enjoy. I believe it is every first Thursday of the month. It is a free healing circle. Basically if you are a healer or you are in need of healing you can come here and either offer your services or get a healing session for free. There are many different practitioners who practice different healing modalities. It can be either Reiki, Breath Work, Chakra Balancing to Shamanism. It just varies upon what practitioners are there and the modality that they practice. I practice Reiki and enjoyed being around others who did as well.
Now, the book store… Ummmm It needs a better selection. I am a fan of Doreen Virtue and when I saw that they had a section I was excited. However I did not find one book of hers. Either they sold out or they don’t stock enough. The store was ehh ok. I think that Visions & Dreams in Costa Mesa has a far better selection of almost EVERYTHING that you can think of.
For the most part I like the fact that there is an metaphysical organization that offers classes. For example they offer Feng Shui courses, Reiki levels one, two and three, Kundalini Yoga, Psychic Development, Qi Gong, Clairvoyance, Numerology get the picture they offer a lot of classes. Of course there is a fee. They also have psychic fairs.
