Established in 1922.

State Farm was founded on June 7, 1922, by George J. Mecherle, a retired farmer. It initially concentrated on meeting auto insurance needs of Illinois farmers through a mutual organization owned by the customers. By 1942, the company was the nation’s largest auto insurer, a ranking it has held ever since. About one out of every five cars on the road is insured with us and we are growing everyday!

Business Owner

Earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California State University, Fullerton. Born into a State Farm family, Jeremy single handedly experienced the benefits and value that State Farm has consistently offered to its policyholders since 1922. Prior to opening his own State Farm Insurance Agency in 2008, Jeremy worked as a Financial Advisor and Wealth Management Specialist at Smith Barney where he skillfully managed $ 100-​Million in total assets. He created comprehensive financial plans which served as a roadmap in helping clients plan for different life stages and events. He understands that as the needs of his clients become increasingly complex, he often develops customized solutions to answer these complexities. Jeremy has a deep interest in helping and giving back to the community through his involvement in The Pasadena Tournament of Roses, and serving as a Notary Public.
