Impressed with the restaurant, being that it was in a hotel. The staff were friendly and the food was good. We tried the breakfast buffet one morning, which offers a great variety of items from different cereals, Eggs Benedict, oatmeal, bacon, and French Toast. We were able to get in and out quickly to head to Disneyland. They also have a great lunch menu, however, it is on the pricey side. The grilled chicken sandwich and the avocado bacon burger were great!

The food isn’t worth the price. Very expensive, happy hour menu sucks. The hostess lied to me about the price of breakfast buffet & when I asked the waiter about it he gave me an attitude. No apology for the hostess being an idiot. The menu is limited. Hotel isn’t bad, Id just take the shuttle to downtown Disney next time for dinner.

Had a very bad experience with their buffet. The lady that sat us down was very rude and did not apologize. Our waiter on the other hand fixed our problem and compensated. On the plus side I had a very good experience at the bar. The bar tender had black hair and glasses. She was very nice and had amazing customer service skills. If it wasn’t for her then I would have only rated one star.

One thing I think Some Unilocal users fail to understand is that reviews of places are somewhat subjective. If you rate a McDonalds versus a high end restaurant I’d like to think you’d be disappointed all the time. Garden Bistro, as far as hotel restaurants go is pretty darn good. Sadly I think it’s even better than some of the Ritzier hotels I’ve stayed at like NYC’s Waldorf Astoria’s Peacock Alley, that’s money poorly spent that I’ll never get back. We’ve always had great service here. The waitstaff is attentive even when they are serving in the just the bar area. We’ve experienced some of the most accommodating staff here in this restaurant. First off, their chicken wings here are awesome. They also make a good avocado bacon burger. Have I tried much else except for their bar food? No. Because I’ve eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world and I don’t want the compare those with what I find to be «good» at this little restaurant. We’ve stayed at all the Disneyland hotels and«most» of their restaurants and room service food isn’t this stable. Burger & chicken wings and that’s all I want and it’s great!

We are here for the convenience. All we had to do was walk over from our room. It’s a nice garden setting with a fountain. It was nice and quiet. Only one other table there. I would’ve left another star had I not had such poor service. Our waiter was this older French guy. I believe he gave us poor service because we are young. He acted like we were a bother. God forbid he have to do his job. After we were seated by the hostess we waited, and waited. And finally asked another server if anyone was coming to our table. He finally arrived. And whisked away the wine menu because(obviously young people don’t drink wine) so I made a point of asking for it back. The food was actually really good! Very flavorful and presented well too. I ordered an appetizer instead of an entrée because I wasn’t starving. The waiter scoffed at this and rolled his eyes. We had to continuously ask other waiters to bring us drink refills, and then the check. I even went back to the hostess stand to ask for a dessert menu. I should’ve complained to management. Dinner took almost an hour and a half because of his absence.

As a guest at the hotel, currently called the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel, I wasn’t expecting a whole lot. I mean my room is sort of 70s chic, why should I expect great food? Sadly, they still managed to not meet my already low expectations. Breakfast is disgusting. The buffet has under-ripened fruit, poorly cooked fake egg product, and bacon that tasted like it’s been sitting in that tray for a bit too long. Dinner wasn’t a whole lot better. I had a New York strip for the price of a high end steak only to get something bland and seemingly cooked on a George Foreman Grill. The only reason I am giving these guys 2 stars is because I DID have a good bowl of spaghetti here one night. My suggestion for folks staying here: Take the shuttle to Downtown Disney. It may be the same price but at lease the quality and variety might be better.

So we are staying at the majestic garden and wanted to eat there. Very nice patio with the garden right there. It was deserted on a Friday evening. So we got good service. Our server was a charming fellow. The plates were just over $ 20. The kids got the pasta and shrimp. Very good flavor and we thought the shrimp were very meaty. Better than the Italian restaurant back home for as similar price. My wife got the seafoood platter and the crab cakes were crabby and light. It seems a shame that they have a good chef that creates delicious dishes with nice presentation, but there are few that enjoy it.

Old lady/grouchy(Red head, Sharri) bartender. Totally killed the vibe in the bar area. She should be fired or reprimanded. She actually told me and a handful of costumers to quiet down during a Dodgers game play off game because we were being too loud. She was Not friendly at all. Snapped at other coworkers and even snapped at customers. It’s a bar! Lighten up! She was really unpleasant to be around and even made me feel uncomfortable sitting at the bar. The whole time i sat there, she didn’t smile or talked to any costumers. Bad costumer service all around. I recommend you go out to drink somewhere else instead of wasting money at an unfriendly establishment.

We stayed at the Sheraton, of course to visit Disneyland. We ate dinner at the Garden Court out of convenience. While the service was OK, the food is terrible. We ordered, pizza, kids Mac and cheese and salmon. All three dishes were indelible. The pizza was thick and doughy. My daughter who loves pasta and cheese did not touch her food, the cheese seemed to taste like imitation cheese. The salmon was tough, tasted fishy and I just could not eat. I am a person who rarely sends food back, I Had to send it back because it was inedible. The waiter was nice enough to swap for another dish so I ordered the avocado sandwich. It was ok, at least with fresh veggies. I don’t mind paying for good food, but $ 30 for undercooked fish, $ 15 for questionable kids Mac and cheese is ridiculous. I was very disappointed. And I felt bad because my hubby wanted to elsewhere but I insisted on staying at the hotel to have dinner. We could have gone somewhere else and had better food for half the cost. I don’t reccomend dining here.

We ate hear for breakfast when visiting the Sheraton hotel for a ceremony in one of the ball rooms. The restaurant is located inside the hotel and sits between the lobby and the outside pool area. They had a reasonably priced breakfast buffet. The items were nothing to write home about but did serve their purpose of filling hungry bellies. The buffet did have a huge selection and ranged from various breakfast items such as pancakes and eggs to fruit and orange juice and milk. ~Coffee-4 Stars Gosh, the coffee was pretty darn good. They left the pot on our table which gave us access to refills on demand. Coffee was great!
